These really are true professionals and will look after you better than the majority of high street shops and certainly better than any online stores.They deliver when they say they will deliver, they phone when they say they phone and they find a solution when you have a problem - thank you so much for being customer focused and great value

Top gear, great prices, and excellent service. webtogs = outdoor go-to

In short webtogs is now my primary online shop for all my outdoor needs, sometimes I'm even just browsing for fun through the gear out of curiosity. Their deliveries are always prompt, properly packed, and the customer service pro-actively offering to go the extra mile, while being extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. If anyone asks me where to shop online for outdoor gear I send them to webtogs.co.uk
Now that my favourite outdoor shop in central London had to close due to a greedy landlord, webtogs is my single point of contact/advice to an extent where I look for gear on their site, phone webtogs for any questions, go to another shop in London if I need to try something, then order it off webtogs.

Here's my experience in detail so far: Normally I test an e-commerce retailer with a small order first but when I started to browse through the great gear on webtogs.co.uk I had difficulty to stop. Within a short time-frame I had a lightweight 1P tent, new trail trousers, new merino long bottoms, and other bits and bobs in my shopping basket. My first order was sent off late night, and webtogs processed it next morning. Our post code is a bit funny which confused their system as it has confused others before. Lucy from webtogs promptly emailed me and I phoned back. As I talked to Lucy I remembered that I was unsure about my layering strategy and had a very friendly chat about it with Lucy and learned a lot.
My first order arrived the next day, all items nicely packed and in perfect new condition. Happy me.
Two weeks later I found two more items that I needed on webtogs, placed another order, again processed the next day and it arrived within the advertised timeframe, again in perfect condition.
All the gear has now been tested and matched or exceeded my high expectations in terms of performance and fit.
I also placed another call to webtogs customer service for some advice on lightweight tents for 2 people and spoke to Gareth who advised me perfectly and even kindly measured some things for me, so I'm close to placing my third order on webtogs.co.uk; all within a matter of a few weeks.

A Brilliant Company!

Great website - very easy to navigate and filled with useful information. Boots arrived with astounding speed (I live on the edge of nowhere) and are the most comfortable pieces of footwear I have ever owned.

Extremely good service

Delivery was better and much faster than some other retailers' supposed 'next day' paid for services and when you consider this delivery is free this is an outstanding service. This combined with extremely good and competitive prices mean that webtogs is now my first stop online when looking for outdoor gear. Lives up to its online reputation

I was doubtful that any company could live up to such a glowing reputation as webtogs seems to have online, but I was very, very happy to find that they did. Lucy answered my email immediately (I asked for a recommendation for a shoe and she replied with a detailed, personal response that answered all my questions), my shoes arrived the next day, when phoned to order a different size to try there were no hassles at all. In fact, despite me phoning after the 2pm postage deadline Lucy ran to the warehouse to get them dispatched to me that day. Even my postman was impressed when he delivered the new pair the next morning.

I couldn't recommend this company highly enough. Efficient, easy, honest and above all FRIENDLY and PERSONAL, webtogs is about the best for customer service you could ever hope to encounter.

Webtogs just seems to get it right... upto date "clean" website that is easy to navigate and always accurate as to stock availability... great payment terms (dont take money until product is shipped)... mega fast (FREE!!) delivery... genuine, knowledgeable and friendly staff at the end of the phone/email and competitive prices to boot... Just bought a £150 lowe alpine pack and was delivered well packaged in 2 days. Got great service from Gareth who had to call Lowe about stock levels on a different option and called me back within 10 minutes of our conversation - you just get the impression these guys really know what they're doing... webtogs definitely my first choice over other online stores (especially OutdoorGB - see my warning review there!) - woudnt hesitate to recommend

Outstanding Service

I placed my order late on a Sunday night and it was delivered the following Tuesday using Webtog's "Standard" service. The item was extremely well packaged although the consignment was in no way fragile. An exceptionally easy web-site to navigate around and use.

Beyond Excellent Customer Service

I called Webtogs to ask about a Western Mountaineering Summerlite Long Sleeping Bag because the website said they were out of stock.

I spoke to a very helpful gentlemen who said he would gladly look into it for me, he took my details and said he'd give me a call back shortly. Within 15 minutes he had called back, although I missed the call. No matter though, he sent me a text message telling me it wouldn't be a problem to get another one soon and I could call him back if I wanted.

I did and got through to a lady, who quickly passed me back to the gentleman who had been originally dealing me - always nice. As we confirmed the order he reassured me that I would get the free product advertised, even if the sleeping bag arrived after the special offer ended.

On a personal note, the gentlemen took a genuine interest in me and my needs, it really classed as what I would describe as beyond customer service.

I have now used webtogs for buying outdoor clothing a few times and have been more than impressed on each occasion. My order always arrives on time and within 2days of ordering. This is excellent as I live on an island and have never received the same promptness from anyone else. Their pricing is competitive and the free delivery is a plus (again living on an island this is not something that is often offered.) Webtogs will continue to be my first choice online.

I found Webtogs almost by accident when searching for a pair of shoes that had been discontinued and were proving hard to track down. I'm extremely glad that I did find them though - the service was excellent. I had been looking at Brasher walking shoes for some time, along with other brands and came to the conclusion that the roomy toe was ideal for me. I searched for a company from which to buy on-line and arrived at Webtogs. Their price was competitive and I have found their service and help five star. Great Prices and Great Service - A Rarity Indeed !

The first item I bought was the cheapest I could find anywhere, plus it included free delivery. It arrived the very next day. Very impressed so far.
When I went to reorder, the item I wanted had disappeared from the site. I decided to to try the 'speak to a human' and was disappointed to get a recorded message saying to try again later. However, I did try again later and got a very helpful man. He explained that only in-stock items appeared on the site but that they had another delivery soon. He then offered to get the system to e-mail me when the stock arrived, so I could order. The next day I got an e-mail saying the stock was in, and surely enough, it was back on the website. I placed the order and again it arrived the very next day. I will certainly use them again and plug them shamelessly to my friends and family!

Following the reviews from other customers, I felt compelled to add some commentary on my experiences...

I have bought quite a lot of outdoor gear from numerous companies over the years, but my experiences with Webtogs have been absolutely first class - you really are treated as a valued customer. As with other reviewers, the delivery is swift - I ordered just before 5pm one day, had an email pretty much the next minute saying that the item was despatched and yes, I did receive it the next day.

Buying shoes remotely is always fairly challenging.... I bought some for my wife and had 3 attempts at getting the right fit - a painless experience to perform the returns until we finally got there.

Most recently, I bought some shoes in the sale and two weeks later found out that they had been reduced further - on emailing Webtogs to cheekily see if I could get a voucher for my next visit for the difference, I was actually directly refunded the difference with a return email from Lucy within a couple of hours - such a pleasure to do business with a company who truly goes above and beyond.

With such great customer service and competitive pricing, I now know where I shall shop in future for all of my outdoor requirements.

Swift and reliable delivery to Finland

All items that I ordered were delivered to my home door in Finland in under a week. Propably the fastest delivery from an online store so far.
Also, the websites are very well constructed. They are a pleasure to browse and very informative. I particularly like the on sale campaigns when its possible to make real bargains!

The jacket and bag I ordered were delivered (free) the next day. When I had to return the jacket (I'd ordered the wrong size!), I was kept informed throughout the process by email (and the printable returns label made it minimal effort on my part). When I noticed that the jacket (which was already 50% off) had been further reduced, I called and they refunded the money straight away with no quibbles. Cannot recommend highly enough, especially during sale time!

This was really a good service I live in France the boots were ordered on Wednesday and arrived friday morning. Excellent Service

I only waited 2 days from order to delivery. The webiste was helpful and easy to navigate. I used the compeny after reading some good reviews from a walking magazine through being a Rambler. The returns policy made me confident that I could try the product without having to buy if they were not what I required. I will certainly shop here again!
