As we discussed on the phone, The North Face did an in season product update that they didn't make us aware of. The jacket that you received isn't supposed to be available until Autumn/Winter 2013 so was the most up to date version. This update was not picked up by our content team so unfortunately we missed it. As soon as you made us aware of the differences we updated our description and photo. We took your jacket back and immediately refunded you in full.
We take an enormous amount of pride in writing our product descriptions and in most cases are the most clear and accurate in the outdoor industry, in many cases there is additional photography and video presentations supporting the written description.
We have shipped over 1 million parcels and this is the first time this has happened. We don't often make mistakes but we are always quick to hold our hands up, apologise and make it right.
I am sorry that you still seem so upset. If I can be of any further assistance please feel free to call me.
Kind regards Lucy -Webtogs Customer Service Manager
