Wedo are a great company to deal with. Dean who dealt with my purchase kept me informed every step of the way, even asking if the delivery went well. I bought a mattress for my father inlaw as a surprise, hoping that it would be delivered on Saturday whilst he was away. They pulled out all the stops to make sure the mattress was delivered and even kindly waived the extra cost for weekend delivery. They did all this even though I'd missed the next day delivery deadline. The old man is thrilled to bits with it and slept for 10 hours the first night! I've been so pleased with Wedo that I've recommended them to friends and family. This is someone who was hesitant in buying a mattress online without trying it first. The details on their site make it easy to choose one. A very satisfied customer.
I am surprised by the bad reviews on this site, as my experience could not have been more different. I ordered a bed (frame only) late on the Monday 18th Nov, so I knew it would not be delivered the next day, but the day after that. I had confirmation from the couriers on the Wed morning and a tracking number which gave me a rough idea of when the bed might be coming. It was delivered as promised and proved to be a very nice piece of furniture for a bargain price.
At the same time I ordered (and had delivered) a bed from WEDO, I ordered another bed from We Are Beds - reading the reviews I did not want to put all my eggs in one basket. The other company failed miserably - not only did they not get in touch, but I had no information regarding promised delivery and when I phoned them two days later they said the bed was 'out of stock'. Of course they had already charged me and not contacted me to let me know that I would not be getting the bed. I went back to WEDO and ordered ANOTHER (different) double bed for next day delivery. I had exactly the same superb service, as the first time around - the bed came, as promised, and is a really nice product for a very reasonable price. Customer services even called me after I had ordered to explain that the drivers could not contact me on the day, but they would try to find out, roughly, when it would be delivered so I would not have to wait in for 8 hours.
It is hard to believe that people could have such entirely different experiences of the same company, but I would absolutely not hesitate in recommending them to anyone thinking of buying furniture on the net.
I ordered a Bentley Designs Atlanta Bed Frame with a Sleepsound Refresh 1500 Mattress on Wednesday 13th. I hadn't heard of either brand before but having been looking for an inexpensive oak bed on various sites over the past couple of weeks, I found Wedo's site by far the easiest to use and navigate, with a lot of information that most people don't seem to bother with. I hadn't heard of Wedo before either, so was a little apprehensive handing over the money, especially as some of the reviewers below don't seem to have had a good time of it.
Both the bed and mattress arrived on Saturday, which I had arranged with Wedo over the phone - so far so good. I am extremely pleased with the bed, that looks even better than the pictures online (an area for improvement?). It was fairly straightforward to put together for my boyfriend although there was one issue with a slat end cap missing. This didn't stop us using the bed on the first night, during which we fell in love with our new mattress. What a joy to sleep on! I like a medium firmness while my boyfriend prefers a firmer feel. Somehow we both found this mattress to be just right and it feels far more luxurious than our old mattress which cost me more about seven years ago.
I called up on Saturday morning to explain the issue with the missing slat end cap and I felt immediately reassured that it would be sorted quickly. The team at Wedo have been incredibly polite and friendly. I have spoken to three different people in their customer services team and I can honestly say I have never experienced such a professional and courteous team.
I was told to expect the missing cap by the end of the week and by Thursday it had arrived. I even received a call from Naomi on Friday to make sure it had arrived and we had everything we needed.
I can't comment on the experiences of those below but I think it is important to give both good and bad feedback and my experience has been a great one and I'll definitely be coming back for more furniture from Wedo in the new year.
THURSDAY: Ordered bed which was gaurenteed next day delivery price £350.
STILL THURSDAY:Within hours of this I cancelled as I had changed my mind.
FRIDAY MORNING: email from customer service stating it was too late to cancel delivery as already in transit so advised to refuse delivery & await refund.
FRI/SAT/SUN/MON/: all this time had past and NO DELIVERY ATEMPT WAS EVER MADE!
WED: I get a call from delivery drivers saying they are going to delivery my bed within 40 mind!!! I explained that the bed had been canceled last THURSDAY and no thank you!
WED AFTERNOON: I contact wedo customer service, explain what's happened and ask where my refund is!! Was told they will refund £310 and keep £40 for the delivery fee!!
In a nut shell the outcome is this:
NO DELVERY ATEMPT HAS EVER REACHED MY DOOR, I have CCTV evidence and after being contacted by the MANAGER who couldn't apologize enough STILL refuses to refund my delivery cost!
It is now 7DAYS since my order was placed & cancelled and I STILL HAVE NOT HAD ANY REFUND AT ALL!!!! NOT EVEN THE PART REFUND THAT WAS PROMISED TWO DAYS AGO!!!!!!!!
ANY potential customers should be aware that this company is a cowboy outfit!

We have been let down in a similar way to the reviewer in August 13 with no delivery of an order that promised today. I took the day off work at huge inconvenience and have wasted a days salary. Because of the bad review I had seen I phoned up Wedo just now to get confirmation that the bed and mattress that we have ordered and paid for would be delivered today. After checking with their depot they informed me that they would not be delivered today. The bed and mattress due to be delivered to 2 different depots and collected from them by 2 different couriers to be delivered to us had not arrived in time for the cut off collection and departure of the couriers. By coincidence they say, and never been known to happen before, neither the mattress or the bed were delivered on time to the depots.... This was not a next day delivery but a requested delivery for 4 days after my order and payment was received by them. Would they have managed the next day delivery that they promise? Why could they not have informed me before? what would have happened if I had not called them? I would not have known!!! i have asked for a manager to call me and I am awaiting this. If they successfully manage to resolve this I will update but it seems this company cannot be relied on and needs to be dealt with care!!! Even if I cancel the order no doubt refund of the money we have paid will take ages!
Pretty impressed with the overall experience. Site was easy to use, all the customer service contact has been efficient and friendly and the bed was exactly what I thought I was getting. One thing to point out is that it is worth reading the deliveries page, its all reasonably simple but it is an all day window for delivery which isn't too inconvenient as I get one day off a week and they said the courier would leave it in my shed if I wasn't there.
I was having problems finding a mattress for a bed I bought from Ikea several years ago as I'm not keen on the ones from Ikea themselves. The chap I spoke to from Wedo was extremely helpful and patient in helping me find a good quality pocket sprung mattress. I asked to delay delivery for a couple of weeks while we redecorate our bedroom and was impressed to receive a call the day before I specified confirming that delivery was still required.
I have been extremely happy with the mattress and the delivery service who brought the mattress up to our room. I would certainly shop at Wedo again and am grateful for their help.
Was looking for a reasonably priced new bed and came across Wedo. I have to say for the very beginning the experience was excellent. Website was easy to use, customer service and delivery were brilliant and my new bed looks perfect . Would defiantly recommend this company to anyone and will defiantly be using them for all my furniture needs
Very satisfied with the overall experience of this company,. They have a slick, easy to use site with lots of choice, the guy on sales I spoke to was knowledgable and not pushy, so making my decision was easier than I thought. I went for Relyon mattress in the end, 1800 pocket springs and with a pillow top. It is so comfortable, never had a pillow top before but it is simply a dream.
I was concerned about the delivery after reading some of the comments on here, but it does seem like these are a very small number and I am glad I took the risk. It was advertised as being next day and while it is an all day window I knew that and it wasn't difficult to arrange for at least one person to be in all day. It arrived and was carried to my room of choice by the drivers. Really good service, I would recommend this company to anyone.
I called up to see if they would be able to deliver on a Saturday, which they could. The girl I spoke to, Zoe was very helpful and I ended up buying a mattress as well. Both arrived first thing Saturday morning and I have been sleeping like a log since. The bed is extremely comfortable. The only down side was having to get them up the stairs as the delivery guy wouldn't help even with my best attempt to persuade him but in fairness Zoe had already told me these would be the case and that the drivers aren't insured. Can't hurt to try! All in all a very smooth experience. I would definitely buy from them again.
Avoid this co at all costs.....i made an order for a mattress on monday, and instead of asking for the next day delivery i asked for the friday, as that was the only day i could take off work to receive the order (thereby giving them enough time to get the order to me). On the friday i received a tel call from the co advising that there had been a 'disaster' with the courier co and they had not collected the order. Due to my needing the mattress for the weekend for a function that i had, i asked them to arrange a saturday delivery with the courier co, and if they couldnt do that then i would have to cancel and re-order with another co who could guarantee next day delivery. I Was later assured that the courier co would definitely be delivering the mattress on the saturday.........jump forward to saturday, i called 'we do' at 11am to see if they could confirm what time the delivery would be arriving, as i had lots to arrange......and yes, you guessed it, i had the same excuse as the previous day, that the courier co had not collected the mattress and they couldnt give me an explanation why. Of course, had it not been for me phoning for an ETA i wouldnt have known this, and would have waited in all day for the non-existent delivery. I spoke to one of the managers who couldnt provide me with any decent explanation for this and seemed reluctant to make any further effort to make arrangements with the courier co to ensure that i receved the mattress by the end of the day (despite it still only being 11am). I have therefore cancelled this order and am appalled by the level of customer service. Had i Read the previous reviews on here first i would not have used this co, as there seems to be a general problem with this courier co....which begs the question why they still use them, poor business sense. This co should be called 'we dont', and definitely not 'we do'.

The item was dispatched very quickly and the delivery was on time. I phoned the company prior to ordering to check some details, and was dealt with promptly, efficiently and courteously.
I ordered the messina ottoman and the relyon pocket sensation mattress, not knowing quite what to expect in terms of service or quality. I have been delighted with both the bed and the mattress.
I placed my order in the morning and received the items the next day. It wasn't the easiest to put together, but that might just be us as we're not really DIY experts! Followed the instructions and seems to be sturdy enough.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants a value for money, sturdy, space saving bed that looks good too.
Just purchased a bed and mattress and I must say that I am very, very impressed with them. The bed was very easy to put together and the advice that I received beforehand over the phone was very helpful.

Ordered a headboard which arrived damaged. Rang customer services to advise of this & was asked to email photoes which I did, also advising of my concerns and asking for their comments. No one rang, but I did receive an email saying another headboard had been ordered. So I rang to ask why this had been done before I had discussed my concerns with them, to which I was told my email had been overlooked. I was then told I would have to wait for another all day delivery. I asked if the faulty one would be picked up at the same time and was told NO, but they could arrange a seperate pick up or could I dispose of it myself. I advised I could not as it was too big to get in my car, so was told I could leave it outside until it was picked up. The next day (Friday) someone else phoned me to arrange for the pick up but also tried to persude me to dispose of it myslef saying 'most customers were happy to do this in those circumstances'. However it would be picked up within 3 working days the following week. The following day my neighbour told me a van had called to collect an item, I presume the faulty headboard, but I was out, no noitification of this collection had been received. All in all not not the most satisfactory outcome of my order, I am extremely dissapointed with WEDO.
I ordered the Messina Ottoman Bed on next day delivery and have been very impressed with the service. The website was easy to use and they were helpful when I called up to ask about the depth of the storage space inside the base. I received a text the evening after a placed the order to say the bed was out for delivery the following day and everything went to plan. The bed itself is for a spare bedroom and although I required my son's help to put it together, everything else was simple enough.
Great expert advise? beware,,, the sales guy I spoke with over the phone regarding mattresses was unmotivated and unhelpful, if you are going to buy a mattress through this company I do advise you to do all the research necessary yourself before hand, have all your needs and queries written and ready to ask as the sales team do not listen or ask questions to make sure you are going for the right one for your needs. And read the returns policy carefully to save you from the sudden barrage of texts once you placed an order.
I started on live chat to ask some questions about headboard mountings. I was then emailed several times over the course of a week with very helpful information and they were very patient. I finally place an order over the phone and the chap I spoke to was also very knowledgeable and helped my choose the perfect fabric for my daughter. I am very impressed with the service Wedo offer and this gave me a lot of confidence ordering from them.

We were let down by another bed company and desperately needed a bed for our guest (after the other bed arrived broken and a week late and had to be returned). I called wedo beds and enquiries about the sock and deliver and was GUARANTEED next day delivery.
The bed didn't show. No reason why it was not loaded onto the truck,... Just that it wasn't. Cannot have the bed delivered for another 3 days as it would have to be reordered over the weekend.
It seems to me that if I order a bed on a Monday, waiting until the following Monday to get it is not next day delivery.
They offered no compensation and no attempts to expidite the delivery.
They were happy to have me walk away knowing I would leave a negtive review.
Any business like that does not deserve my custom.
I came across wedo beds whilst searching for small double beds on google. I hadn't heard of them before but wanted some information on the depths underneath some of their metal beds as I wanted to use this space for keeping some boxes etc. They didn't have this information to hand (why don't companies list this on their websites?) but the girl I spoke to told me she would call round the manufacturers to collect the depths. I had spoken to another online business who said they do the same and never called back so I was delighted when the phone rang half an hour later and she had all of the measurements I asked for.
I placed my order later that day and the bed I ordered, the Serene Neptune Bed, arrived two days later. I don't think you always get the best service with these online companies, so it's a pleasant surprise when someone is genuinely helpful. I just thought I'd share the experience!
I will definately be using wedo beds again as the customer service experience I received from start to finish was outstanding. As this was my first time ever buying a bed online I was a bit sceptical but after speaking with an advisor named Aisha over the telephone she was able to answer any concerns and queries I had efficently, patiently and extremely professionally. Thanks to wedo and Aisha I now have a beautiful leather bed along with a mattress at a very reasonable price. Will be recommending my friends and family to do the same........
The company it self is fine, but their delivery service is appealing!! They don't stick to time, don't read instructions on the entrance locations, and make no attempt to contact the customer. I was about to spend 700 pounds with these guys but due to being messed about repeatedly by their delivery service I cancelled my order! Never again!!

I wanted to buy a new mattress as my old one was giving me backache but I didn't know which one to buy. So I contacted their sales team, they were very helpful and recommend me an orthopedic mattress. I received my mattress the next day and since then my back pain is gone!
Purchase an Ecounsound mattress for my Daugher to replace her ageing memory foam one and now I cant get her out of it. The mattress is extremly comfortable, firmness is just right. The service and delivery where perfect, could ot have asked for more.
I purchased a mattress from Wedo Beds about a month ago and have been happy with the whole experience. I do most of my buying online but this type of purchase was a first forme. I spoke with someone in customer service and he explained exatly how the process would go and that I would receive my mattress the next day, which I did (the driver climbed out of the truck with a crutch but still helped carry the mattress) .
I am very happy withmy entire experience and my mattress is very comfortable. I would have no trouble recommending Wedo Beds for anyone, especially if you are buying a mattress online for the first time and are unsure, as they took the time to explain to me
I asked fif they were prepared to deliver a bed at a specific time and they confirmed they would e-mail me a time slot and then phone me when the bed was due to be delivered. That way I did not have to wait in all day and could come back from my office which is close by. On the day they hadn't contacted me and I phoned them, they confirmed they would call me shortly. They never did but when I got home I found my bed left out in the rain outside my house. I phoned to ask for an explanation and they denied any of those arrangements and said they only ever deliver within a day and never phone. I ended with the impression that this company will say anything, promise anything, to get your money. Also note, this system requires me to rate with stars and insists on some rating but the one star I have given is more than they deserve in my view.
I just want to say what a pleasure it was to deal with this company. I ordered last Friday and received my bed and mattress on Tuesday morning as promised. I have slept like a baby ever since! I had never heard of wedo-beds before and don't normally shop with unheard of business online, so this has been a pleasant surprise!
Found the bed I wanted, phoned up to see if they would price match, in all fairness they said they would but the other company didn't have it in stock so they gave a £5.00 discount. I ordered the bed but they said that I had missed the next day delivery slot, so would be delivered on Friday.
Friday came and no delivery, so by late in the afternoon tried phoning, only a recoded message time after time, this is when I'm still at work. Left work early and phoned them fom home, around 5.00 pm finally got hold of a person who insisted that they had spoken to us and the bed had been delivered. Sounded like they delivered to the wrong address, they couldn't contact the couriers has they had closed ?
Anyway waited until nearly 6.00 pm for a call back, never came, so I phoned up to cancel has I needed the bed for the weekend, bought one locally not what I wanted had to take time out from work etc.
Now waiting for refund.

OK further update, refund went smoothly, hard to get hold of them on the phone tried at 10 times. Then in the afternoon a bed turned up!
Waiting for them to get it picked up now.
Who was to blame for the screw up. I don't know.

I experienced the following errors with my order:
1st. Bed delivered without headboard due to "human error".
2nd. Bed frame was missing slats.
3rd. Replacement slats arrived, but were for a different bed, so were unusable (didn't fit).
4th. Correct replacement slats were supposed to be sent but they forgot to send them.
5th. Same day courier sent the correct replacement slats, but again, they were for the wrong bed.
It took around 2 weeks to get the bed sent, scattered over several couriers. In total, I've had to take 4 days off work to wait for couriers to send the parts of the bed and I've had to take 2 parcels at work for the missing parts.
Their phone line rarely works (engaged tone usually) so their web-chat is the only way to contact them, but when you do, their customer service people are very helpful.
I should note that I received a £5 M&S voucher for my troubles - a nice gesture, but an interesting valuation of the inconvenience caused.
