Hey there. The staff at Wembley Guitar Centre were friendly and helpful. The item I wanted (guitar) was in stock and in perfect condition. I was afforded the opportunity to try it out in-store; the staff even found me a Laney amp to try it out through - the same kind that I use for gigging. Overall: Very pleased. Highly recommended. 10/10 in fact. Cheers very much.
Very surprised at the unprofessional service & attitude i received.
I waited THREE WEEKS for call backs..continually left messages..got the run around for the product i needed..and i feel my purchase clearly wasn't important enough to chase for this customer.
After heated phone calls with staff members (who were very rude & strongly opinionated), they finally tracked down the part i was looking for..quoted me a price..which was agreed and I felt it was all over, transaction done.
But no..
Got a call back 10 mins later saying the manufacturer had made a mistake and it will now cost me more money, which they felt the customer had to pay!!!!!!
Unbelievable in my opinion..something that should never happen in business once a deal is done & agreed.
After refusing to pay the extra, they said ok..bye..(in other words..were happy to lose your business without negotiating, and don't care if you shop here or not).
One staff member even said to me 'if i wasn't interested i would have put the phone down on you by now'!!
They then came back to me and said 'we'll meet in the middle on the extra cost'..As i have waited & needed this part for so long, i agreed to paying half the extra cost..
They then called me back again and said 'oh..ok..we will waive the extra cost as goodwill this time'!!!!!!
(Why wasn't this all done before calling the customer and putting me through all this???
It feels like you were just trying your luck for more money.)
This kind of service leaves a very bad taste, very unprofessional service..and after 30 years in the business (and dealing with lots of drum stores), i don't think i will ever shop at Wembley drum store again and will certainly not be recommending it to all the contacts/peers i have in the music industry..
Wembley drum centre in my opinion is the best drum shop in the UK and I think I've been to most of them. The ever changing dispays are superb, showing off the very latest and best of the best gear. I drive 40 miles there at least twice a month sometimes just for a look around and to soak up the whole drum atmosphere, drums or anything you like being tried out, none of this "do not touch" stuff, drum DVD's playing, to see what's new or a chat with the very friendly and knowledgeable
staff. The mail order side is excellent also, even if what you want is not in stock you get a phone call to tell you and it still arrives within a few days. No problems parking either, even on match days!! If you are in to drums, then it's an Aladin's cave,
thank you Wembleydrumcentre, never stop doing what you are doing, we need you, Cheers - Ian.
Never used these guys before but a certain German company's customer service left a lot to be desired so I looked elsewhere. Found these lads through a Google search.
The prices for my DW hardware was the cheapest around and international shipping was well priced.
Very quick delivery and excellent communications.
Highly recommended and will use them again.
needed a spare for the nipper's drum kit asap, Googled the part & Wembley Drum Centre came up. Website was easy to navigate & ordering a doddle. Delivery was most rapid too.
The web site is well designed and easy to use. I found what I wanted in a very short time and completed the purchase without difficulty. A subsequent phone query was dealt with efficiently and pleasantly.
They had the cheapest prices for what i was looking for. I had no problems with delivery at all and the delivery was very fast!
Excellent company!
Great friendly staff, out of stock of the basic items I was after.
I was unsure about the best keyboard I required as I regularly work between live and studio. However the staff at Wembley were very helpful and allowed me to take full advantage of their demonstration facilities (all keyboards are set up and ready to play in their excelent showroom.
Thanks for all your help guys....
Excellent customer service, best deal, even better than on-line. Would definitely recommend to anybody.
No pressure from the staff, just a genuine willingness
to help you find what you want. Will definitely go back there,
& as if that wasn't enough , some of the most competitive
prices around!
Wembley guitar centre is fantastic! It has everything I look for. There is a wide range of products which is fantastic if you want to explore a world of choice. There are only a few problems, these are; my product was delivered slightly damaged; the websitecould have more reviews on products; the website needs more videos. Apart from these it is a guitarists heaven ! :)
Wembley Guitar Centre have provided me with a good, timely service. I've found it difficult to source Gibson strings here in the North East, so I'll definitely buy from them again .
I recently ordered a black t-shirt with a picture of a white set of drums on the front to send to my nephew. It came very quickly in the post and I was delighted with it. The quality and value for money is excellent.I will certainly use Wembleydrumcentre again.
Over the years, I've purchased various pieces of hardware and cymbals, some by special order, and the service and knowledge of anyone and everyone I've spoken to has always been 1st class. Earlier this year, I bought a new Tams Superclassic kit, and arranged for it to be delivered to me, and sure enough it arrived exactly when they said it would.
They're the most reliable and knowledgeable percussion retailer in London, as far as I'm concerned.
Have ordered a fewt imes from this company and have always recieved good communication when ordering and very quick delivery of goods have recomended to fellow DJs etc
Too much to look at, it was brill! Can't wait to go back and try out some more stuff. The man that served us was excellent, relaxed and really new everything there was to know and pointed me in the right direction on all of the things I bought.
Can't wait for Dad to take me back, must save up for my next visit.
the one shop i can always trust and will purchase from time and time again.
I have made a number of relatively small purchases from WDC over the years and they have never failed to make sure the goods are with me in a couple of days. The site is really easy to navigate.
Last year I threw caution to the wind and bought an Odery kit. I phoned the shop, bearing in mind I live in Lancashire. I spoke to Dave, had all the time in the world and made it quite obvious that the kit I wanted wasn't merely an item, it was a child leaving home.
I would recommend WDC to anyone.
I've been playing for 55 years and dealt with numerous music shops over that time and some of them have been very good. However, I've often been told that I can't get this or that because the manufacturer does not import a particular item in to the UK,
Wembley Music Centre are willing to go the extra mile, nothing is too much trouble, and I can get most anything I need from stock usually within 24/48 hours. The staff are friendly, courteous, and very efficient, able to answer any questions over the phone, and if they have doubts about anything they usually give me a call back to clarify the position.
Well done everyone.
All the guys at the drum centre are freindly, helpful and they really make the whole experience of whatever you are buying or even if you just want advice and good one.
Carry on the good work, I will always continue to buy from them.
From as soon as I contacted them on the e-mail they were very helpful, they reply to messages quickly. The equipment was delivered quickly and packaged well.
I must mention the lad who served me, Mario was really good and always answered any questions.
Loving the new kit too, thanks very much!
Needed a replacement matching microphone stand in a hurry. Wembleypacentre came up trumps. Ordered Sunday and delivered Tuesday, in operation on Wednesday. Website clear and informative.
Always a great selection of instruments and products available to choose from. each purchase has been a very fast, efficient and well documented transaction. I will continue to use this store with confidence.
The product and information is very good. However delivery was only one choice, 'Express' costing £8. We would have preferred a lower cost but slower option.
On a separate issue no one was at home when the carrier called. They used their initative and left the parcel next door but did not leave a card to ask us to collect. They were not able to let us know for a day and so were not aware of it's arrival.
Overall its pretty good, but recently have become so much dearer than other leading stores, delivery is consistent, the range is fine, but could be bigger. But the difference in,for example some bass drumheads £40 from WDC but £25 from GAK.
I decided to make an order from Wembley Drum Centre after recently visiting the shop to watch the demo by Steve White. I was very impressed with the variety of gear available and their prices.
I ordered the 6" Crash Practice Pad from Wembley Drum Centre online at the very reasonable price of £20
My order arrive quite timely and well packaged. Good quality, no scuffs, scratches or any other damages visible.
Website was very user friendly and the chap I spoke to on the phone prior to making the purchase was very helpful.
I will definitely be making more purchases from Wembley Drum Centre again, including my new kit i plan to get at the end of July!
Top stuff, cheers!
I used the Keyboard Centre for the first time recently and received exceptional service from start to finish. They ensured that the keyboard that I wanted to try out was available when I first visited and Matt was very helpful (and patient...) in providing all the information I needed both about the keyboard itself and the accessories. When I subsequently decided to order the keyboard/accessories over the phone, everything was dealt with very efficiently and I was informed when the relevant items had come into stock. Everything was ready to collect when I needed it; I couldn't fault the service and would have no hesitation in recommending the Keyboard Centre to anyone (although I guess it would help if they have at least some interest in keyboards, or guitars, PA equipment, etc...).
Super helpful and accommodating ... now use Wembley Drum Center instead of my local shop as they are top notch ... highly recommended!
I ordered a set of Zildjian ZXT Rock cymbals and they arrived fairly quickly but after about an hour of playing the began to dent on the edges, I phoned Wembely Drum Dentre and was told to take pictures and e-mail them so I did. The general manager got back to me and told me that it was my fault as the pictures showed signs of "over agressive playing and over tightening of the wingnut on the cymbal stand," so he was basically putting the blame on me. I told him that when I had been using the cymbals there actually hadn't been a wingnut on the top, and that I have used Paiste 101 cymbals and some Sabian Xs20's for just over two years and there wasn't a mark on them. I also found it quite strange that you could diagnose what was wrong with a cymbal from a picture. So I had the cymbals returned and was told a Zildjian respresentative had looked at them and had said that the GM was right. When i asked for the contact details of the "representative" I was told I couldn't have them for some reason. So i ordered new Sabian Xs20 Rock cymbals over the phone. They were posteed 3 days late even though I had informed the GM that I needed them for a gig urgently. When they arrived they were the wrong set so i phoned the GM and he said he hadn't put the order, and that he wasn't in on the day I ordered them even though I had been under the impression I was speaking to him, after a long disscussion he said "he wished he had just given me a refund in the first place" and rudely set the phone down on me. I phoned back the next day and spoke to another person and when I asked if the GM had taken the order for my cymbals I was told by the sales woman that he had even though he had told me himself he "wasn't in." Eventually the internet sales woman was very helpful and gave me a full refund and appologised for the GM appauling behaviour.
He is an illmannered, liar and should not be working as General manager as he is a disgrace to the company. Thanks to him i will never be dealing with Wembely Drum Centre again.
Please avoid this drum company!!
I have recently placed 2 large orders with Wembley Drum Centre and found that with both the advice and service was superb! Delivery times were super quick and I have never had any problems with any items. Thanks very much.
Most recently bought two RoadPro boom stands, arrived when stated. I received e-mail and text updates. Have previously purchased cymbals, cases and other stands - service is always excellent. Would highly recommend W.D.C to anyone
