After asking for information on the telephone, I ordered a zoom lens on a Wednesday morning and by mid afternoon the following day it had been delivered.
O holiday some days later I was able to use the lens to get some very pleasing results.To say that I am overjoyed with the lens and results it gives is putting it mildly and I have no hesitation in recommending Wex Photographic as a reliable source of photographic equipment.
Wex has a great reputation for service and delivery which is well deserved. I have ordered several items - some expensive some not so but all were dispatched on time well packaged and delivered on time. What else do you need to improve on that? 5 stars every time
The sales team are friendly, helpful and best of all, knowledgeable. I buy many items from them and know that if i ask their advice i get unbiased information, resulting in purchases i really enjoy, because they are suited to my needs. Sellers who bother to ask why you want a particular product and then say whether it is ideal for your purpose, sometimes suggesting alternatives (because they've tried them) will always get my vote.
Their customer care is the best by far.
Rang regarding buying back up batteries and Canon 600d camera a year before that. I don't know anything about camera's. Wex provided succinct, clear and unpatronising advice. Great value. All of my professional cameramen and industry friends use only Wex. Stick with them and you won't go wrong.
I'd been researching travel tripods for a couple of weeks ahead of a trip to Dublin and as usual left it until the last minute to make my decision. I placed my order at 1.30pm, received confirmation it was on it's way at 7.35pm and was thanking the courier at approx.10.00am the next morning. Very happy with the service as usual from Wex!
Always a good price, very quick delivery, even when choosing the free option. The support team even added a discount code that I forgot to add when I first ordered with no problems. I don't even bother shopping around for photography gear anymore because I trust Wex entirely.
I recently returned a faulty item to Wex Photographic.This item was processed by Wex, who then returned it to their supplier where things ground to a halt.One phone call from me to The Sales Team however, and things were quickly resolved.
Within a couple of days a brand new replacement unit was delivered even though the defective one was six months old( albeit with hardly any use) and I am more than happy with the outcome.

I ordered a 2nd hand lens, which I was very dubious about. Having read some reviews from other companies dealing in photographic gear I was a little unsure.
Felt I could go wrong with these guys as they are established and have a reputation to keep.
I ordered and opted for next day delivery, at about 4pm. The item was delivered well wrapped 10:30 the next morning. What's even better is that it was exactly as described if not better. Its immaculate and comes with a limited warranty, but anything bought of ebay etc does not. Well worth using these guys for peace of mind and knowing you are getting what you purchased.
Will certainly recommend and use them again.
I've purchased a few items through importers from Hong Kong, one of them went OK one took weeks and the other was a disaster. WEX have without doubt superseded any other online camera dealer for service I have ever dealt with. Value is not all about cost it is about customer care and confidence in the supplier and WEX, for me, tick all the boxes.
I paid £7.50 for a Saturday delivery, so I could use my new camera on a weekend trip. My delivery did not arrive. Not only have I wasted an entire day, but I am faced with the prospect of having to waste another one on Monday when I need to be at work.
Parcelforce tracking shows my delivery as being at the local depot I good time, so Wex have done their part here, it's Parcelfarce who are the problem. However, at the end of the day, Wex choose their courier. I did not have a choice of courier when I placed the order.
I my opinion, £7.50 for Saturday delivery is too cheap. Charge me something reasonable, like £30 or even £50 so that the courier takes it seriously. I don't care because my Saturdays are worth a lot more than that and it's probably going to end up costing me several hundred pounds because I now have to take a day off work.
I recognise that Wex have good intentions and did their part. Hence my 2 star "Bad experience, but no malicious intent" rating. I will make sure to give Parcelforce that single star however, because someone there looked at my address and made the deliberate decision not to bother and that it doesn't matter that they have left me stranded in my house all day. Wex, do something about your courier.
My advice: Do not rely on a Saturday delivery from Parcelforce. It doesn't work.
My latest purchase from WEX (Aug 2013) was a used Nikon lens. Buying used lenses can be risky but WEXs evaluation of the condition as "excellent / as new but with a mark on the glass" was accurately honest and justified my continuing trust in them. Delivery was as promised and the packaging reflected that WEX cared that the lens arrived safe and secure. Note that I have been unable to detect the mark referred to both visually or in images.
I bought the Canon EF 70-200mm f4 L ISM lens, together with a Kenko 67mm Digital Zeta L41 UV Filter. The ordering pages were easy to complete and a well packed lens arrived the next day by Parcel Force. Wex is an easy company with which to deal.
I have bought many pieces of my equipment at WEX, always considering it one of the best photographic shops for quality/quantity of products, prices and precision of service/delivery.
However, this time I have been quite disappointed to see that one of the received items was missing of a small (but somehow very useful) part.
I am referring to the Manfrotto Lino Pro VII Messenger Bag, which arrived without the padded "L-shape" camera bracket (the red padded sausage that helps to keep camera and lens secured inside the bag).
I have noticed that the package was ripped in one corner, but I think that wasn't enough for someone to take the padding out.
I have reported to Wex customer service, being asked then to return the bag for substitution. I have declined the offer, since I am already using it and it will cause me more annoyance to wait for a complete substitution, while I was hoping for a simpler delivery of the missing part.
Hope this could help for future quality checking.
I've used Wex Photographic for a number of years. Never had a problem. Great service, products and prices. This time however I had a problem paying for my camera online. Called the order line who resolved the issue for me without any hassle.

We are not spoilt for choice here in the UK when it comes to big photographic retail outlets, no B&H or Adorama type stores. WEX seem to be the best of what we do have. I have been buying most of my online photography purchases from WEX for years now, going back to when they were called Warehouse Express. Prices seem comparable with most and in some cases they are cheaper, unless you want to buy grey import.
The order and payment process is quick and easy, shipment and delivery is usually fast, only once was my order late (1 day). Delivery is always via Parcel Force. Packing is always good.
My only complaint would be a lot of items on the WEX website lately seem to be listed as waiting delivery, I hope this is not a bad sign.
I am very happy with my Canon 5d mk3 and 24mm to105mm lens .
I cannot say the same for the Canon strap that Came with the camera unfortunately I think Canon could do better.
When I bought the camera it was advertised on the website has a camera that the box had already been open so the camera is reduced in price On the webpage there were showing that there would be some software I would come with the camera When I asked the gentleman if this was going to happen he was not certain and would send me an email to cry situation He did send me an email Saying I would not get the software Considering this is the advert show the software on the web page I thought Wex would honour that I also thought that you would not have to pay the postage and packaging

This is a sturdy handy sling backpack, enough room for a dslr with grip and several lenses including flash gun and filters etc. It is comfortable on the shoulder and with a quick pull, have access to all you equipment packed. Can be used as a cross over back pack too, with the ability to use left or right handed as a sling backpack.
I am very pleased with the services from Wex Photographic. I ordered a Fuji X100 at a great price (they put Amazon in shame) and received it 2 days after.
The camera was very well packaged and I have no complaints to report

I ordered an out of stock item, A4 Ilford Galerie paper, it still came in 2 days, well packed, special delivery at no extra cost. this was part of a split order. Wex generally have and enormous stock of the most photographic items you could ever want and have access to hard to get items. Prices are generally OK, but delivery is always top quality.
I think we have bought 90% of all our photographic equipment over the last 8 years from Wex. Often the cheapest but even if not quite the standards of information, service, delivery and aftercare has made them our No 1 suppier. We feel sorry for anyone than has not yet discovered Wex Photographic.
I had used Wex before and based on that experience was very happy to use them again. Living in north west Scotland online buying is almost inevitable. On searching the web, Wex had a very good deal on The Lumix TZ40 - camera,case and SD card - and, given next day courier delivery was available, Wex was the one to go for. As previously everything went through as it should and the next day delivered package was very well wrapped indeed.
As you can see, I will be very happy to use Wex again.
I had gone on to Live Chat to verify a couple of things before ordering my Lensbaby Pro and macro converters. Took the cheapest postage option and the goods still arrived in just a few days, also the macro converters were on back order and the were received the day after the composer pro.
The bag it comes with is disappointingly flimsy and offers no real protection, but this is no reflection on WEX.
The Epson 1500W printer of my original order didn't BUT within a week the "duff" one was collected and a replacement delivered and it's working just fine. I must thank WEX for the service they gave me which can't be faulted and ensures them of a repeat customer.
Really pleased to be offered Lightroom 5 at a great price when ordering Spyder 4 Pro. Was able to take advantage of free delivery as my order was over a certain price threshold. Delivery was faster than the 4 days specified. Very pleased.

As always it was a pain free experience the website is very intuitive and all went smoothly. I asked for a Saturday delivery and paid £7.50 for this privelege but the goods came on Friday! If I didn't want a Saturday I could have gone for free delivery in 3-4 days maybe I will give a full five stars if I get a refund on the wasted Saturday cost?
