Great online site, fast delivery, good prices

This company is great. They offer lots of parts for most rc models. There online site is easy to use and fast delivery. The shop in Cannock is also superb. Lots to see and parts in stock. And the staff are always very helpful in troubleshooting problems that anyone may have with there models.

Not a Sales Rep - just one very satisfied customer

I have now used Wheelspin for a few orders for my Heli's.
I also bought a Blade 130X from them recently.
The service is fantastic and dispatched straight away.
I ordered a flight sim last night just before 5pm and within minutes I received an email to say it was dispatched and with a tracking number.
These guys must be the fastest (and best) packers around.
Very very happy with the service as I live in the NE of Scotland and none of the nonsense of we can't deliver to that postcode etc.
What's great is that you know the postage costs (free or not) up front instead of going all the way through the ordering process to find out a lump slapped on for postage then VAT also added to that postage cost.
I now surf away from any website that don't show postage costs upfront.
Not a sales rep for Wheelspin - just a happy customer.

Very fast, no-hassle company

I have recently bought my first RC heli (Blade mCX2) from this shop and would thoroughly recommend the company. Incredibly fast response to a price guarantee I requested (same day even though I sent it after they had closed) and same day dispatch, with the courier service texting me which day it would be delivered and then in which hour when the day came around. I then ordered a couple of upgrades for my heli, choosing royal mail delivery but they upgraded it to courier for no extra cost, a nice surprise when my package arrived nearly a week before I was expecting it!

Very pleasant and safe company to deal with, I'll be ordering all of my RC kit from here from now on.

Nightmare !

I bought a Dx6i and a Blade 120SR but when they arrived they would Not bind. I was told by the shop to send them back at my own cost £17 postage. When they got them they said that there was nothing wrong and it was working so they sent them back to me.
After I got them guess what they would Not bind. I traveled to a model shop 20 miles away and when he tested them he told me that the Sr120 was faulty so I phoned Wheel Spin who told me to send them back again and they would have to send it away to be tested by Horizon Hobby! Remember £17 to post? NOT an offer to replace but that they would have to send it away to be tested !
The shop owner who tested them for me offered to take it of my hands and he would send it away to be replaced. Sorted by someone who I did not even buy it off !

I would NOT deal with this company !

Reply : The fact remains that the item was faulty when I sent it to you and remained faulty on its return to me. This was also confirmed by a local dealer. Why did you not refund me when I ask you to instead of returning the parts. I am out of pocket £17 on return postage charges as per YOUR Terms. People if you buy from them YOU must pay all postage charges even if it is faulty ! Be Warned

Sorry to hear your disappointment. We do rigorously test all returns, and if no fault is found then I'm afraid there's very little we can do. As per our service team's phone calls, after being "re-bound", this heli worked perfectly so was sent back to yourself at no charge.

We would never send a known faulty item back to any customer. This item was re-bound, test flown, and then packaged up back to yourself. Had a fault been discovered, we would of course have replaced your item and credited reasonable postage costs, as per our terms. As we could however find no fault with your item, I'm afraid we would not look to do this as it worked perfectly during our extensive tests.

I'm sorry to hear your disappointed with our service, but glad to see this has been resolved by the manufacturers via another dealer.

Service with a Smile

I ordered a bodyshell for my RC HPI Bullet on Saturday and it arrived on Monday via courier.... excellent service, why cant all companies be like Wheelspin Models.

I put together a package of an RC car, Controller, batteries and charger.
I emailed to see when the items would be in stock, as christmas has just passed and the new year was coming.
I received a quick email back with recommendations to the list of items, suggesting what items would be better for around the same price.
They also informed me that the RC car would be hard to acquire at this time of year, but they would make inquiries.
They found a car and I received everything on the first working day after the new year.
NOW THATS SERVICE!!

Super quick deliver and reliable information

I ordered something for my RC car and wanted to confirm that I could get next day delivery so I called them up. Was told they were closing in 15 minutes and with 5 minutes to spare I completes my order. In another 20 minutes I recieved an organised and friendly email telling me my order had been dispatched! And the next day my order arrived in protected packaging! Really recommend this website and will definatly be using it again!

THE 1 stop shop for great products, value and importantly customer service

Bought a model following a recommend from friend that uses Wheelspin. Great bundle price and delivery in time for Xmas. Sadly one of the front shocks snapped following 1st use. Got in touch with Wheelspin and a replacement all sorted. Great comms and service would highly recommend.

Perfect & Polite customer after sales

I found the website very easy to use with easy payment methods,
Also a quick paypal checkout without creating a account or signing in very handy.
All items i looked at were reasonable prices, some with free postage.
DPD courier delivered my items within 24 hours even though its christmas month.
The big bonus for me is there 1st class customer after sales which is great for newbies and people who want advise on want suits them best.

Brilliant selection of spares for all makes and models, and a really easy to use website, i wouldnt hesitate in using them again and would of given them 5 stars but i feel the delivery costs need to be reduced when spending more than £50.00

Quick delivery ,but didnt get what they said

I looked on your website afew weeks ago and decided i was going to order a sandmaster combo kit,i rung the shop to make sure i was getting everything i needed and was told yes everything,so when i was paid i placed the order,quick delivery but when opened i discovered that there was no steering servo,i rung the shop and the person i spoke to said no that combo does not come with the servo,it seams pretty silly to do everything but a steering serv,anyway i was not ofered any apolagy for the mix up and just told i would have to buy one,anyway i did but not from wheelspin,and wont use u again

Hi Alan,

I'm sorry to see your disappointment. The Sandmaster kit does mention it requires a steering servo, but I appreciate this wasn't included in our combo, which is a little misleading. Our combo's generally include most of the items you require, but as these are somewhat "universal", mistakes can happen from time to time.

We've now updated our combo to include a servo (which has of course pushed up the price slightly.)

Brilliant all round site and service.

Excellent range of products that are competitively priced and all R/C models have good money saving combo options which are especially good for first time buyers, easy to find what your looking for with all the spares and option parts you could want, items dispatched usually very quickly. For next day delivery they use DPD which I like because of the 1 hour delivery slot.
Have always been pleased with the overall service and since I found wheelspin models, I have stopped shopping around.

Wheely great service!

Ordered spares for my Blade nano ncpx and had them the next day. Well packaged and low postage. Good stock availablity at the best prices I have found.

I wasn't ging to give them a THIRD to get it RIGHT !!!

I originally ordered three APC 6.3 x 4 pitch propellers through Wheelspin. When they arrived I eagerly opened one of the Ripmax pre-packaged packets, and started to ready the prop for use, namely drilling out the centre hole to fit the engine, and smoothing off the sharp edges prior to balancing it on the SLEC prop balance when for some reason I had a closer look at the embossed numbers at the root of the prop showing diameter x pitch, and was shocked to see the pitch was 2" and NOT 4". Ripmax had got it way WRONG BIG TIME. So I emailed Wheelspin and returned two of the three, explaining in the letter I had keep the third as I had messed with it. They emailed me to inform me that the actual props were out of Stock, and would an Alternative do. To which I replied NO. There was then a three week wait, and another package from them arrived. The two props enclosed were NOT what I wanted, and they had tried to fob me off with a 6 x 4. So they got sent back and a refund request. I eventually got the Props elsewhere from some more reliable source.

I'm sorry to hear this. As per your comments, these were bagged wrong from the suppliers, and whilst we double check all packages for errors, we only check part numbers as written on the packaging.

As mentioned, it actually turned out the supplier's entire stock was bagged incorrectly, which was a real shame.

We would certainly never 'fob you off' with any item, we'd simply try to offer an alternative size as the original items were out of stock (as they were all bagged incorrectly).

This was an unfortunate incident, and I regret that we weren't able to help further on this occasion.

I've bought loads of various bits and bobs from Wheelspin Models. They always deliver quickly without any hassles. Easy and nice, wish everyone else were the same.
