"Bride and Groom" is a generalisation in the order process and no offence is intended at all. I was also horrified that I might have sent you the wrong seeds but, on checking your order, I see that you did order Lavender seeds and not wildflower seeds so I am glad I am not to blame for that! Hi Fiona/Emma, thank you for taking the time to review and I am sorry you were not happy with the service you received. Next day delivery is the day after despatch - I have checked our delivery information and I note that this has been omitted and I have now had this rectified. In virtually all cases next day delivery would be on the day of ordering but if we are snowed under then occasionally that is not possible - so hopefully clarifying this on our delivery info will help. As I said in my email to you I had not noticed initially that you had paid for next day delivery and I apologised for that and scheduled you for correct delivery,so I did do my best to sort out the error. I would also like to say that even if your order had gone on the Friday you still would not have got it until the Monday due to the weekend.

Ref the postage - I apologise for the discrepancy in the postage rate. We do not try and make money on the postage. We have a franking machine which means the postage rate is a bit cheaper than taking the post to the post office so, in fact, you actually save money on delivery as we do not have to pay the full post office rate. The £8.99 is a flat rate next day charge - it would be very complicated to set up the website so that every weight and size had a next day charge allocated to it. If we send by courier that rate covers their charge, if we send by special delivery, sometimes that rate is a little over what the cost is. I am more than happy to refund the difference and would have done so anyway if you had emailed to request it. If I had picked up on the difference I would have refunded it anyway as it is quite a bit over but I failed to do so and I apologise for that.

I try to treat customers how I would like to be treated and do not knowingly charge more for delivery and I do refund it if is considerably cheaper than what the customer paid.

I would also point out that I am only human and occasionally humans make mistakes - I am sorry again for the misreading regarding the delivery option on your order but hope you are happy that I did get your order out to you when you pointed out the mistake to me and that you are happy with the refund on your postage. Hi Claire, thanks for taking the time to review. I have to say, in our defence, that I think our prices are very reasonable for a personalised favour! You ordered seed packets at £1.50 each and for that you had the personalised packet printed both sides and a generous amount of seed - more than you would get in a packet of seeds from the garden centre! Some favour sites charge more for seed packets and lots of other favour types cost more elsewhere, eg, chocolates. Plus with seeds you are giving your guests something that will potentially last for years in their gardens. I hope that you found they were good value and worth the money nevertheless! I'm sure your guests will love them!
