I've read quite a few damning reviews here, but I love the drag and drop editor so much, I took the risk and built a site with Wix. I've been guilty too of being negative when things didn't work as I expected, but perseverance has paid off. Most often I found it was a fault at my end that I couldn't see straight away. The support is a bit distant, unfriendly even, and it sometimes feels like staff are copying and pasting from FAQs. All in all, I'm very impressed with the ease of use and outstanding features. Remember that people are more likely to write a negative response than positive because if they're happy, they're less likely to take the time to post a review. However, if you're good and mad, you're on the keyboard pronto. Well done Wix, keep this thing going. It's the future of web design.
Ok, I admit my website is quite basic - no webshop etc. But, for my need, it works GREAT. I am not a techy girl, and I could EASILY set up my site over a weekend. LOVE IT!!
Also I appreciate how easy it is to adjust for mobile. It is more or less done for me, just have to do a few tweaks.
I have had no problems what so ever with payments - every things works fine.
The reason I don´t give Wix 5 stars is that I think the blog module is too basic, still. I hope this will be improved. However, all the apps I have tried have worked perfectly. No problems at all.
I would like to see the possibility of creating social media cover images with my chosen template: could be a tab like the mobile tab… good idea, right?
So, all in all, I have a very happy Wix customer!!
IT HAS BEEN A GREAT EXPERIENCE SO FAR. THANK YOU WIX, ITS NOW SO EASY TO CREATE BEAUTIFUL WEBSITE WITHIN DAYS. UNLIKE OTHER USERS' BAD EXPERIENCE, I DIDNT EXPERIENCE LAG IN THE EDITOR. IT SAVES PROMPTLY AND I LOVE THE FLEXIBILITY! WHAT I THINK CAN BE IMPROVED ON:
1. ENABLE THIRD PARTY PAYMENT CHECK OUT OPTION - INTERNET BANKING/CASH ON DELIVERY.
2. ENABLE CLIPPER ON POLYVORE TO WORK ON WIX
3. FASTER REFRESH TIME (IT TAKES LIKE 2-5 SECS TO LOAD ONE PAGE)
4. ALLOW HTML/LINKS ON PRODUCT DESCRIPTION.
5. ALLOW 'COMPLETE THE LOOK" MATCH WITH OTHER PRODUCTS ON EACH PRODUCT PAGE.
6. ZOOM IN OF THE PRODUCT IMAGES.
OTHER THAN THAT, I AM BY FAR A HAPPY CUSTOMER OF WIX. THANK YOU WIX!
In the beginning (Dec 2012)...I complained about access and page refresh speeds on both the Editor and actual built website sides and as always, the Reps at Wix.com had their 3x5 card replies that it HAD to be in the individual user's internet "hops" to the Wix server and that in no way could it be on their side...
Well, for the last 6-7 months, I have just sat back and watched the numerous complaints on in through my subscribed email notifications, which on a daily basis is in the order of 5-20 email (complaints)...
So, today 17 Nov 2013, I decided to check and logged into my account and just doing a SIMPLE task like moving ONE sub-folder up ONE place in the PAGES TREE, is an impossibility...get the swirling little wheel and the constant, do yo want to stop the script or continue...
Nothing has changed in 11 months...
I can see the benefit on a business level for Wix Co....get 1 million paid subscribers...keep replying to the numerous complaints by reading off of the 3x5 card, as instructed by Wix management, refund the little that needs to be...which I would assume to be far less than 1%...and laugh all the way to the bank...
If it were not for the FACT, that it is NOT my internet connection or hops speed since I can access any and ALL sites all over the world with no problems and at lightning speeds, EXCEPT for the Wix system...YEAH...you're right...the problem MUST be on my side...
For anyone contemplating starting a website...check around first...and by all means, set up a free account with Wix also, so that you can compare...BUT....do NOT go for the PAID Wix system until you have tested, reviewed and verified all of your options...
I have dabbled with wordpress trying to build a website for months without ever really getting what I wanted. Finally decided to try an online builder, and chose wix because of the incredible amount of options and flexibility they offer. Plus the html 5 looks awesome and highly professional.
I upgraded to the premium to use my own domain name, and cant say enough about how pleased I am with the results! I found them helpful when I needed assistance, and the site performs flawlessly. Plus, I was able to incorporate various apps like forms and html blocks that give me the ability to put just about anything into my site. I am incredibly happy with the results, and now I have a site that I operate and no longer have to try to get some webmaster to make changes every time I want to update, change, or add a picture.
I see a lot of negative reviews but my experience has been nothing but excellent. Keep up the good work, wix!
I made one website with random problems I dismissed it because it was free. That was a test my next site was the one I was going to upgrade with. I did about 10 hours of work half way done than suddenly the program just shut off. It turn my computer off and on. So immediately you must guess I scan my computer for virus. The program became unresponsive when trying to edit. I like to give people chance scan my computer went on netflix, any video player I had, all my other site gave noooo problem playing at all so I went back on WIX and lo and behold crashed my system. Luckily my computer can block ridiculous viruses and bugs.(I assume that is the problem)
WIX should do better you have beautiful templates. I was resistant to going else where because made it easy for a person like me who needed something ASAP but what's the use if there is nothing to present when the site is not allowing me to edit.
I'm sure I'll get an apology for customer's service like all the others but it still a problem and i must go elsewhere. Sorry. I really wish the project could have been completed in one swoop.
And shout out to the employees that are posting good reviews... it's obvious you're doing this because the sentence content is pretty much the same as the support service that is responding to these negative reviews. Which is worrying me the more on the ethics of WIX. (Really suspicious). Hmmm sounds like damage control to me.
Anyway, I am forgiving so if the problems are fixed my go back because you guys did make it easy for something I needed ASAP but too bad I couldn't use it or even finish editing. It just simply froze. :(((
Aaaah the most frustrating program I have ever had the misfortune to work with. I have been working with Wix for over 3 months now and so much time has been wasted re correcting elements which suddenly changed overnight - text, boxes etc. That was annoying BUT NOW over 50 lists I spent a long time creating + researching the information to put in the lists - have disappeared with Wix not being able to offer any kind of explanation. This happened at a time that we were showing the site to potential advertisers, you can imagine how bad it looks showing someone to pay to advertise on a site with obvious mistakes/ empty spaces.
I could go on but bottom line Wix might be just about adequate if you want to put some family photos on a website.... FOR ANY BUSINESSES FORGET IT!! Each time I log on and look at the site, I m wondering what else might have disappeared. What's the point of having a website where your content is not secure because the program is so unstable.
Scrolling down and looking at other reviews (seeing alot of 1 stars!!) and Wix's semi automated responses (similar to their technical support) - I ll be interested to see what excuse Wix come up with for losing so much content from my site!
Also most of the positive reviews below seem to come from designers using Wix (more than likely with no coding/HTML skills) with an obvious vested interest in giving Wix good reviews or people who have just used the program for a couple of weeks!!
I accidentally changed my username and it won't let me change it back.
I ask support and they stapled a useless copy and paste message to me about how they can't help.
If your IT team can't re-establish an old username, then what can you possibly trust them with.
Wix is a lazy company that just wants your money for subpar service. Until the day they change their ways, I will never take this review down.
Don't waste your time with Wix!! It's not a scam persay (hence the 2 stars instead of 1), but let's just say you get what you pay for - a waste of time. [External reference] or [External reference] are much better options for small business. I wasted 6 months on Wix and can't really think of a week that I was satisfied (beyond my first two weeks of excitement). This was bad for business considering I run a crane company. While I won't list every problem, the final straw when I went to save hours worth of updates and the 'system crashed... hours of work right down the drain. When I finally canceled after 6 months, they tried billing me again on my one year anniversary!! That was just insult to injury. There are much better options - [External reference], [External reference], [External reference], etc. Wix was a waste of time. The tools were junk, the picture albums were disorganized - it was a mess. Not worth the couple bucks a month. (Almost forgot to mention... if you're looking to sync your Pinterest account with Wix so you can let web surfers see your work... just forget it. Wix has a problem with that too. So frustrating!!!!)
I have had it up to here with this service!
I have never in all my business career worked with such a misleading entrapment enticing company! You get people to attach apps etc do HOURS UPON HOURS of work and then at the end say oh by the way to finalise this you must upgrade to such and such..
I am paying a lot of money already and am a PREMIUM member and still i must pay more for a 'cart', i checked before hand and it is free to premium members but upon completion of my store after yet more hours of catalogueing, product reviews and store design and creation i must buy the Ecommerse package. IF I AM UNABLE TO USE THE FEATURE ON MY ALREADY EXPENSIVE LEVEL OF MEMBERSHIP, PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW ME TO ATTACH THE APP AND DO THE WORK IN THE FIRST PLACE, I AM RUNNING A BUSINESS HERE.
I think we all know why you do it this way and frankly it is very unethical.
Just started using wix to build a site focused on the photogenic side of women with questionable morals, and I love it. I have no background in coding, but found wix easy to use and helpful in building my site through a step by step guide. I found the content easy to upload and display, something I had trouble with before when I tried to build through a 1&1 / wordpress offering.
I have had a premium account with Wix for over a year. When it came to renew my account they asked for updated banking details which were supplied. The money was then taken out of my account, but the site drpaulroos.com now goes to the wix site.
I have been using Wix free for two weeks now. The selection of starter templates was excellent, and very extensive. (It took me about 45 minutes to look them over and decide on one.) The HTML 5 editor has a very short learning curve, and it allowed me to quickly adapt and modify the template in any way I desired. Really. There is no rigid structure to a template. You can delete, add, move, and customize every element in it, and modify the underlying design to your heart's content. IMO, it truly is a drag-and-drop WYSIWYG editor that has a fantastic selection of tools that covers every aspect of page design I needed. I had my web site up and running in about five hours. Since then, I've found it very easy to update and maintain.
Regarding the negative reviews about Wix support: I found the answers to all my questions in their beginner's guide and FAQ. I did not have to use customer support.
The templates are great when they work. Good value, quick and easy. However, when a legitimate technical issue arrises they duck and dodge, give condescending suggestions about why you don't really have a problem, and eventually hang up on you when they reach the end of their repertoire of stupid answers. No joke. They hang up on you. And it's not because I was a jerk. I kept my composure through their repetitive insulting responses. With me, they then called back twice within a few minutes but hung up as soon as I answered. Scary culture for a company who has your personal and financial information.
Btw my issue was that the whole home page flickers intermittently when the new slideshow app changed images. I'm a photographer. Also the first time you load the home page, there's this huge gap where there shouldn't be. We did the screen sharing thing and despite the fact that the flickering happened obviously several times, she claimed not to see it, and again, offered ridiculous suggestions of why I thought I was seeing this happen...then hung up.

Well if you want to speak to someone... forget it - they don't post their telephone number on the site, we have a number of business interests and thought we may switch all the sites to wix after we had an easy time of creating a simple site with them, now we just want to be rid of them but although they are on this site advising people to call them as they are keen to not lose your business.. the number is a hoax it introduces them and gives an option menu - you click a number and it loops to asking you to click any number to return to the previous menu - I agree with other posts they simply want you to subscribe and will keep taking your money for as long as they can. We are switching all our sites to [external reference)] as the customer service is fantastic especially if you are outside the US.
CHANGED MY WEBSITE TO WIX ON ADVICE FROM FRIEND. WRONG! HORRIBLE SERVICE: I MANAGE SEVERAL WEBSITES FOR SMALL BUSINESS...WIX TOOK CONTROL OF MY EMAIL ON GOOGLE...ELIMINATED MY ADMIN PAGE ON GOOGLE+ AND HAS LOST ALL OF MY BUSINESS EMAILS;.....NO PERMISSION..TOTALLY AUTONOMOUS ACTIONS...HAVE CAUSED ME TO LOSE 3 ACCOUNTS OVER THIS. HORRIBLE COMPANY..HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ...HORRIBLE WEBSITE SERVICE
YOU CAN BLOCK THIS REVIEW BUT FACTS ARE FACTS..WIX HAS THE WORST WEBSITE SERVICE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD....YOU ARE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS WIX...EVERYBODY LOOK FOR A JOB NOW...MY LIFES MISSION..CLOSE WIX DOWN PERMANENTLY...No EXPLETIVES..NO WHY WILL YOU REMOVE THIS REVIEW? I am going to keep writing it everywhere else till the doors close...so block that

Please be careful before getting an account with Wix, sometimes you don't get a response to an important question, if you get a response it is far from professional. If you give them your credit card details they will retain it, I am not the only one who has resorted to legal action when dealing with theft from Wix, please read the many others below:
Wix is a great website building program if not the best if you know what you are doing, it saves you alot of time, you can do a simple template in an hour, and have a functioning website within 24 hours, if you know programs like PS and AI you are all set to go.
However their customer support is probably one of the worst ive ever came across, i would actually consider as a owner to outsource it abroad, even though im one of the persons who think thinks a business should stay at home soil.
Cause the replies are among the worst ive seen and from a technical standpoint they cant assist you farther than google search.
So as a program 5 stars out of 5, as a company i would actually give them a 0. Do not, i say do not expect them to support you if you dont know what you are doing and google and youtube will help you more.
Wix is not good company. All they need is your money. Trust me! Like many newbie, I was amazing of their tool, app, html 5... Before buying wix I also read many review on trustpilot but still decide to buy premium.
But they are may be worse than the worst. Wix is flexible but they do not have any blog. I you need create porfolio by time, you may wait for thier blog apps. however they promise it in 2 year and do nothing untill now. I you want creating a good website for Seo, no blog is very difficult. You can hire easy seo blog app, but it is stupid when spending over 10 usd/month and still have to pay more.
Their server is too slow if your website is out of the US. Not like other Service, wix do not have local server for your website. I also buy [external reference] for another website but they have local server for my website and it work very good.
Wix billing and payment is really a cheat. They do not have manual payment method. Once you using thier package, they will keep charging you without notice each month or each year.
Trust me, I am frustrated with wix.com over three month. I hope trust pilot have minus star for this company.
For any one who are still being surprised by their flexible tool or app, don't be cheated. If you like web builder, you can use [external reference]. If you don't like web builder, using [external reference] is the best.
The website doesn't give clear information. They allow you to buy a domain for 15 pounds. That sounds cheap, and for sure you can create a template very quickly if you can handle an editor. The problem is that you CAN NOT do anything with this domain rather then buy a premium template for 50pounds minimum ( having their ads on your website) to point to, afterwards. They don not refund domain purchase. So after you have bought a domain, you found out that you still need to spend 50 £. to have a website online.
The only thing you can do is transfer your domain away. And for sure you want to go away from them straightaway. But NO. you can not do it. not earlier then 60 days.
So Please do not do my mistake. I have now to buy a new domain from another company in order to create the website and wait 60 days to be able to move the domain I bought with them. A waste of time and money. Frustrating.

Wix does not support google adsense yet.
they just add the Adsense App on there app store,
But when you connect your site to your adsense google adsense show this EROE:
"Our crawler was unable to access your page to determine its content and display relevant ads. When our crawler can’t access the content, often we won’t show ads resulting in lower revenue and coverage. At other times, we’ll show ads that are irrelevant resulting in lower CTR. Follow the links in the ‘How to fix.’ column to correct these errors and improve AdSense performance."
wix support team does not support at all, They just copy and paste the foolish answered.
Don't waste your time on WIX

Don't be sucked in by the Wix templates, because once you become a paying customer, they do not 'give a toss' to put it mildly.
The support forum is a joke:
- If you report a bug (and there are many) they will not take responsibility - but instead just try fob you off with lame excuses.
- Bugs that they do acknowledge - some features that I would call 'standard' for a website eg. footer and menu button scaling, viewing on different browsers, basic html widget - are still not fixed - going back to June 2012.
- They do not read your support questions - they would rather not answer, experts at dodging, just give a standard 'copy/paste' answer that has no relevance.
- If you complain - well, then they will just ignore you.
- Google? Well, they say they don't support '3rd party products'!
- If there's a problem with any of the 3rd party apps they advertise - they will take no responsibility for them either.
- The standard response for most support inquiries is: upgrade your browser (even "tell you customers to upgrade their browser"!), empty your cache, take a screen shot - and when you do that - they respond with "we could not replicate this issue"!
- Their 'mobile' solution is awful and the desktop version of their sites have issues with the variety of smartphones and tablets on the market.
- The support forum itself is really 'unsearchable' - you cannot search on a topic that others have posted to see the Wix response - no wonder.
I could go on, but needless to say I have never experienced a company with such poor service. Try another website builder, one that you can tweak to html code (with wix you cannot) . If you need a professional site - then Wix is not the answer. They have (and still do) cause me much embarrassment.

I've had my wix site up for a couple of weeks and I've had to call customer service twice. I discovered that it is not possible to fill in my contact form this week. I searched through the help topics before calling customer service. I have been waiting over an hour and a half for someone to call me back. They leave at 5pm. I have a feeling this issue will not be resolved today. I really can't do much of anything else except sit in front of my laptop until they call me back. Thanks WIX (sarcasm)!
I subscribed to Wix as a premium user because of the ability to create a beautiful website. But as they say, beauty is only skin deep.
Beneath the nice looking website is a customer support that sucks! Instead of releasing more and more Apps, Wix should direct more resources to better understand what customers are complaining about and be more responsive to serving customers and solving their problems.
Not only after waiting for forever to get a reply or possibly a fix to my problems (it can sometimes take weeks to fix), their customer support staff are rude.
What was irritating was when they are still trying to fix the problem and you get an email response from customer support that they are closing the ticket because they have not heard from me.
What do you want me to say, while you are still fixing the problem at your own sweet time, and we the customers would have no choice but only to wait? I see no point ranting and raving when they only fall on deaf ears.

Wix gave a ridiculous excuse to ignore the commissions earned. I provided enough supporting documentation, but they ignore my emails. No phone number, only a general email address. Any idea of a phone number, address in US, person or entity to present the complaint?

For some reason everytime I log onto my wix website the website layout has changed. Sometimes page elements have been compressed and other times they've moved to different locations on the page. The latest issue is that the Home page in the live site extends down an extra full page and is filled with blank space even though when I check it in Editor it ends at the footer(where it should). Please note this problem has just occurred without me fiddling with the layout. Secondly when in Editor mode on my Products page I cannot view the last item I inserted(it has become cut off), yet strangely enough you can view it on the Live site, although this makes editing it impossible. There are some serious bugs pertaining to the wix editor, both visible in Chrome and Safari.
I just found this new website creation tool. I have been trying to create a website for a while, but it was all too hard, esp. creating a domain and then looking at a blank space, which is all so daunting. Since playing around with Wix, I discovered pro templates, which are organised into categories to best suit the purpose of the website, and ease of use and personalisation. Okay, true, I had to click a few buttons to trial and error, but within 5 minutes, as a newbie to website creation, I have discovered how to customise it to my liking, and OWN IT.
Another pro is that it take mobile viewing into account, so there's construction lines to let me know where the boundaries are. Totally cool!
And this is all FREE. Unbelievable!
I don't understand the low reviews but based on my experience, I am amazed on how powerful this site can be. It makes the web designing/development process a lot easier. Even if there are some short comings, it doesn't bother me at all. Great work Wix team!
I like the interface of the product and the tools for making pages, however it seems like it could be more intuitive. I was shocked to see how many negative reviews Wix got, until I saw how many fake 5 star reviews were spammed right under each of them!! Now that is a reason to keep my money in the bank. Shame.
i am a wix user for quite some time and i have to admit its awesome and easy to use :)
Also i joined wix's affiliate program and am able to make good money every month as well.
so yeah i am really please with it.
I've used WIX for a couple years now and WIX is by far the easiest and most customizable editor I've used, and I've tried most of the WYSIWYG builders. While they've made some major improvements to the editing platform over the years, it feels way to unstable to actually invest money into.
There are a few issues I've noticed that are big enough that prevent me from actually launching the website and paying the premium. For instance, when you zoom out on the HTML editor in preview mode (and I have looked into this issue quite thoroughly and WIX has no solution), the website background stays the width of the users screen but the pages along with the images will shrink back into the middle and it messes up the whole ratio of the website. Images and texts are completely offset from the background and it looks awful.
While I'm on the issue of backgrounds here's another issue I've encountered. There is absolutely no way for me to find out the perfect dimensions of a custom background I have made because the WIX team has no answer for it. For instance if I wanted to make a blank .png and put my graphics on, they have no answer for what size I need to make it exactly (yes WIX I know the native size for your site is supposed to be 980 X 683 but I tried scaling my image down to that size and it just would not work). While I did find a way to make my background not move when switching pages (which was very very annoying, it has something to do with the length and width of your pages from what I've read), there is no way to position that background into the perfect place.
The other issue, as every single other user has reviewed on, is the image management system. It's just not functional if you have a lot of images to put up. It could possibly take hours to upload, organize and tag photos that would normally take thirty mins tops on normal image organizers. Another issue I'll comment on is the poor customer support you have, while I haven't called any of your "support" phone numbers, I have thoroughly reviewed your forums for answers to my issues. I have found every single one of my issues on your forums, but to no avail, no answer. Just some dry coat throat response, "sorry we do not have an answer for the problem at this time but if you have any other question please contact at blah blah blah".
Lastly, I didn't buy your product because I was so frustrated with these reviews and my issues that I decided to look into other products and thankfully I did. I have read many disconcerting reviews regarding your server speeds and fuctionality. Absolutely something a professional can not rely on.
While in my search for other programs, which are few and far between, I urge users to check out WebAcapella. It took me hours to find in the forums because it was french based product. It has a harder learning curve than most WYSIWYG programs but the final product is well worth it. AND the best part is you pay one time for the software! No need to pay monthly which is amazing in its own.
Having said that, WIX, if you fixed these issues and the other ones that fellow users have complained about, I would absolutely buy into your program. It's simplicity is unmatched but as a professional I can not rely on you. FIX YOUR ISSUES it's 2013 for god sake!
I have used and promoted the use of wix ever since they started the company. I literally have created hundreds of websites using wix for customers around the globe and they all love the overall experience of growing their businesses presence online with the help of a robust website maker engine like wix. It has grown in many ways in the last 2 years and we have seen customers use every bit of the awesome features wix has to offer. We love it and will keep using it until our old bones cannot handle a keyboard anymore. Thank wixes we love what you do!
Wix is good. Very good. This energetic and vibrant company has created and fostered a strong sense of community, hard to do in such a transient environment like the web, that this alone stands them well above the competition. With active forums and prompt and efficient support - they always work to find a solution for your problems- this company lives up to every good thing you have heard about it. User friendly, energetic, efficient, professional, supportive, creative, and all with a vision to make your online experience easy and enjoyable.
Best thing since sliced bread? You bet.
I found Wix in 2010. I was studying to be an interior designer and when I found Wix I was ecstatic. I was so happy to be able to create websites for my businesses I was starting; one for interior design and one for home staging.
Then the economy went crazy and interior design became such a "luxury" that nearly half the established professionals left the field.
I set that up, because now I am a Wix Pro. I got proficient at creating Flash sites, (only the Flash editor existed then) and since then, I have made a good part of my living from creating and selling my designs using Wix.
I am really surprised in a way from some of these negative reviews. I do know that society's attention span is getting shorter and people are impatient. I have had to contact support on occasion and when I get advice from the staff, it always seems to work.
There is a learning curve, but the extensive tutorials and videos are so wonderful that, anyone can create awesome sites.
I have tried other site builders since starting out with my new career, and Wix is the best. I have a super ethical conscience and so I am not being biased.
I have never had any issue with payments nor have any of my clients, (there are many) had any issues.
Wix sites are highly customizable and even though we cannot upload entire design templates, each part, (header, background, page style) can be customized individually so this is a benefit. I prefer this and so do my clients, because they can feel the power and freedom of the flexibility.
I would review Wix favorably even if it were just me using it and I do own and operate 4 of my own Wix sites, however having the happy clients is even a better endorsement. Since I have these satisfied clients, and they are all different Wix users, it is evident that it serves their needs or I would be getting a lot of emails with complaints and I simply do not get complaints. So this review is, in effect, not only mine but a representative review of my client base and their satisfaction as well. Thanks Wix!
This is an honest, no BS, statement about my experience in using Wix.com
I´m a web developer from Los Angeles and been using Wix for 3+ Years -- it has COMPLETELY transformed the dynamics of my business. It´s allowing me to grow professionally while, at the same time, its letting me travel-work-live in Europe.
(lived in Italy, Spain and now Portugal)
Wix offers great speed and ease.. which in turn translates to greater customer accounts.
I have followed and grown with various companies throughout my career and I have never seen a company so diligent about being in the forefront of web technologies. From mobile to SEO and now web plugins...there is nothing Wix won´t open your doors to. I look forward to using it every morning when I fire up my laptop. I enjoy teaching clients how to use it even more.
If you haven´t tried the Wix Editor, you´re missing a huge opportunity.
I have to give them 5 stars! I can't believe all of the low scores here. Every platform is going to have some issues, however, most don't work on them as quickly as wix does. I am very proud to be a WIX pro: http://arena.wix.com/pro/artisticmarketing and will continue to recomnend wix to everyone, I've switched MANY clients over to wix and they LOVE it.
I love that I can design a custom website at a very affordable price for my clients and then they can in return edit their own website, without any codes, which saves them money and gives them a feel good, when they can do it themselves.
I love wix and everything they offer. Their customer service is usually pretty quick and right on too. I would like if when I was communicating with someone that that person wouldn't change when I reply back, that's the only negative thing. I would like a bit more personal customer service. However, the service is pretty quick.
I would also like to have a bit more recognition for my claimed websites. I have over 100 paying clients, that continue to pay, so that would be nice to get a little more than what we pros get. I love the arena, most of my work comes from that area, without that I wouldn't be as busy as I am now!
All in all, YES I would recommend this company to anyone and always do!
I am so disapointed in the way WIX has treated me.....premium support it should be called NO SUPPORT, I have bank charges of over £90.00 thats to their incompetence
after i cancelled my account with them in October 2012, but they still took money from my account up untill may 2013, So be warned if you close your account with WIX make sure you tell your bank because they will try in on.......
Sent Wix an inquiry about a credit card charge from them and at some point they simply closed the ticket.
This was 3 hours after we last emailed them, and yet their email said "we haven't heard from you in over 72 hours".
This is unacceptable!
