Wix is easy to learn, very easy to make my site functional and extremely diverse for visual aesthetics.

I don't think another site holds a candle to wix for building your own website. The organization of everything is only clicks away. Most of the functions would take a developer hours to code, and yet I can drag and drop things at will, adding my own graphics as needed. I love this product and I am not shy about spreading the good word.

Easy peasy lemon sqeezy

Buliding a website could not have been any easier, I am in my 50s and had never built a website before, but loved the way I could easily show enquiring customer's everything I wanted them to know about what we do. The picture Gallery has enabled us to show just what fun their dogs have when they stay with us, walk with us or simply just come for daycare with us. The website enables us to easily change information as and when we need to. The website although build by a complete amateur looks great and and customers often comment on how good it is. It has brought us in many many customers over the last year .

Excellent online web designer - have been using it for years and have created over 20 sites with it

I would recommend Wix to all. Very easy to use and capable of an end product second to none

Good way of getting your own website that is fairly easy to use.

I took over the running of a club website and since made up my own and it is all pretty easy to use. There are lots of widgets to add to your website so that you can get social networking on it and there are helpful videos to show you how to do things. I had some problems doing things but I eventually figured out how to do it by trial and error. Everything you need to build a professional website.

I was in desperate need for a user friendly web application and WIX was a breeze

I love the easy and rapid structure of WIX - I have been using code for 3 years and this just made my time and energy 200% more efficient. Thank you WIX for finding me [external reference]

Nice designs, shame about the customer service!

Up until now I have been relatively happy with Wix. They offer a good range of attractive templates and I have been able to find clear and concise answers to all my random questions (this is my first website and before starting I had never even heard of SEO, etc).

Unfortunately things have now reached a point where I will not be recommending Wix to anyone else, ever!

The Wix main website and editor have been down in New Zealand for nearly a week. There are many people all over the country angry and frustrated because they cannot edit their websites and are losing money, so I'm not alone! Now this is frustrating and is always going to get negative feedback but for me, with a past work history in the Ombudsman industry, its how you deal with a problem that keeps people happy, even if you can't "fix" it right away.

Wix have taken the path of largely ignoring the comments on many sites including Facebook and www.isitdownrightnow.com. The responses that have been received seem to solely blame Vodafone... but guess what.... Vodafone blames Wix! Surprise surprise!

There have been no emails/phone calls, no apologies, no explanations of what is being done to try and resolve the problem, we have been largely ignored. Especially when numerous requests have been made for people to get their money back! All of the above could have largely diffused what is becoming an angry and unnecessary situation and I strongly believe that some form of "acceptable" compensation should be offered. I'll eat my hat the day that happens...

Wix - Stop employing so many staff to design new and pretty templates on a daily basis and start employing some people in your Customer Service Department! SORT IT OUT WIX!

Wix ;(

I have been trying to log in for 4 days to update my website. I have tried different browsers, cleared cookies, reinstalled browsers and nothing. This is incredibly frustrating considering that mine is a business website and it is costing me money not being able to update,
Please fix this!

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR - STAY AWAY FROM WIX

1. Wix simply doesn't work with safari for month now with no solution!
2. Wix ignore requests from PAYING costumers to get their money back for their service of a website that simply does't work!
3. Wix customer service is horrible
4. Wix tech support is shameful
5. Wix lies to their customers about a known problem and let people pay them without knowing their website won't work on safari
6. Wix deletes customers posts on their forum and on their Facebook page
7. Wix HAVE NO ANSWERS to when or if the problem will ever solve
8. Wix publish that the problem is solved without checking it, then delete that post
9. Wix websites are on and off all the time

Please, don't join Wix, they don't deserve your time and money.

Rarely an error appears that affects the Editor or the live site. Unstable and slow to update features

I've been with wix for 3 years now and at first it was good. Then all of a sudden, they stop caring. When it comes to problems for wix, they give every the same generic reply without no solutions "sorry for the inconvenience" or " We're working on it" with no eta . It took wix over a year to fix the facebook like button. And whats even more sad is instead of implementing new features that they should have already have, WE HAVE TO VOTE FOR IT. It takes wix entirely too long to update the littlest features. Servers are extremely terrible and im just sick of it right now

Wix + Safari = FAIL!

This is an ongoing issue which basically results in a hit and miss rate for anyone viewing a wix website with a safari browser. navigation links just don't work about 40% of the time. No rhyme or reason.

Their latest reply has resulted in a completely new bug being created which only shows the header and footer of a wix website, plus loading times are now way too slow.

An Israeli company, with a support team that tries hard, but ultimately cannot keep up with the high demands from frustrated customers. Yet quick to demand payments.

If you don't really care about who views your website, then sure go ahead with using WiX. Myself, along with many others, would strongly suggest against it.

I've decided to put my money towards squarespace.com instead...

You said it's resolved by clearing cache. seriously, this issue is more than just cache.
But ok, I did EXACTLY as your "fix" said. and on first reopen....my site failed exactly the same.

Wix! I am so disappointed....I can't even give you 1 star it's so bad!!

I have been trying to log on to Wix for two days now. I am in New Zealand and have a website with Wix that I depend upon for my business. I have been in contact with them, emptied my caches, cleared my cookies, restarted my computer and downloaded Chrome (I have safari) to log in as incognito. All to no avail......it's a disaster of a company and I will move to another as soon as I am able to work out how to do it.
Wix.....you promise so much but since I have had my account there have been so many problems........editing, saving data etc. It's been so much work wasted. I will never recommend this company to ANYONE....EVER!

Horrible!

I can't contact anyone about an issue I am having. My web site isn't working and I am losing money! I set up a time for them to call because that's all you can do but that's a week away! I will never ever use this company again!

everyone i know thats looked up my website sees my website plus the starting layout like call us now 1-800-0000-0000 they best fix my site if they wish me to pay

This deal really sucks

No customer service, they all want more money to get help. I think its a scam. My website that I created on wix goes to some other website thats not mine.WTF.. RIP OFF DO NOT USE WIX. THEY GOT MY MONEY AND i RECEIVED NOTHING BUT TO PLAY AROUND WITH THERE ONLINE PLAYGROUND.

Lower than the lowest

I would advise everyone not to use WIX.com as they have no customer support, they claim to but they do not answer your questions directly and try and tell you anything to shut you up. I built a website with wix which to be fair was very easy to do and at first everything was ok, then my messages stopped coming through to my aol email. I contacted wix and when they found time to reply I was told to contact aol, which I did and I was told by aol that wix would need to contact them to fill in a form to get whitelisted. It took 8 messages on the wix site and wix FB before they contacted aol, I lost count of the times I was told by wix to refer to "Best Reply" which would you believe was "contact aol". I have copies of 5 emails I sent to wix at live-support and primium which never got a reply and I booked a phone call which never happened. They can not fix this problem with aol emails and as they had just taken £36.72 from my account for another tweleve months I ask for a full refund until they sorted out this problem as I am losing work and money. I guess they got a little bit fed up with me because I would not go away and lie down, when I turned on the computer this morning I found my site had disappeared and I was told I would receive a full refund in 20 days. DO NOY USE WIX.COM IF YOU HAVE AN AOL EMAIL, YOUR CONTACT PAGE WILL NOT WORK.
I have asked twice for the contact details of their CEO, Avishai Abrahami but they refuse to acknowledge this request.

So know you may be wondering why I have given wix a one star rating.... BECAUSE -10 WAS NOT AN OPTION and I must say the German Language as them summed up. Look up what wix means in german

WIX is a SCAM

I spent about 40 hours designing a website in the WIX editor, which looks great and within a few weeks increased my business immensely. But after two months I want to make changes to reflect my growing business. I am locked out of my account, locked out of logging in, locked out of asking questions. Completely locked out. No customer service!!! I am stopping the service immediately and moving on, will pay to have a website designed in html that I OWN.

Can't add blog posts without going to the EDIT WEBSITE area.

well i'm really upset that i have spent so much time with picking a template and arranging it to my own taste, ONLY to find that when i want to add any type of post, i actually have to go into the EDIT WEB SITE area. the whole thing can be thrown off if i'm not careful and i touch onto any of the elements. there is NO way to add a post in a NORMAL way. such as NOT editing the whole web site / blog!. so i can't advise anyone to waste time and money on wix.

I want to add that i've read some of the other reviews and most people who give it a high rating are only doing so from a building stance.NOT a using stance. it wasn't hard to build and change my site. It is just IMPOSSIBLE to post blog content without going into the EDIT WEBSITE area. which is just wrong for bloggers and anyone that doesn't want to worry about dis-arranging their site's elements and structure.

Pretty good

I have a two websites with wix and it is pretty easy and professional looking. The only problem i have is how much wasted advertising space i could use but the format isnt the same on every computer. The mobile format is not as good as the actual website so i dont use it at all. My font gets thrown evrywhere and just looks awful. But other than that its fine.

Wix WORKS 4me & MORE IMPORTANTLY....my CLIENTS!

I can definitely see the frustration & negative feedback here :\ But as one of the reviewers said - people ONLY seem to comment when they have something to complain about.
I have BUILT easily over 50 sites using the WIX Platform, NOT because it's FREE & NOT because I can't code - But for the simple fact that my CLIENTS can easily manage, change, update, & maintain their own sites without having the tech-knowledge typically needed to have a nice, functional & multi-platform website.
I design, build, & hand-over WIX sites to my clients on a weekly basis.
As with anything, there will ALWAYS be room for improvement, as for the recent outage....YA that was BAD, but again these things happen...(SOMETIMES)
The ONLY thing I can complain about is the recent "call-you-back" issue with the tech-support. I never said anything about it because it is clear that they have grown faster than anticipated & will simply catch-up with more support staff. I manage to deal with it for now & in exchange when they do call me back, I have always had AMAZING support/help from them.
So friends, I not only endorse them....I make a living using the WIX platform.
