Product ordered Makita Chainsaw web page stated 3-6 days, fine not in a huge hurry.
Date of order morning of 18th November (Monday)
Six working days later receive an e-mail stating it's still on 5-7 day delivery (a week Tuesday since Order) phone up asking for expected delivery and it's now due Friday (11 days since order).
Friday phone up and now it's expected Tuesday / Wednesday (15 to 16 days since order) now starting to take the P!ss.
Wednesday phone up might not get it out by end of day (17 days since order)
Thursday expected delivery time between 11am and 1pm.
Thursday (5th December) Arrives at ...... 2pm .... well you weren't expecting it to be on time were you?
Now This wasn't the cheapest or fastest source for this chainsaw I'd found on-line but liked the fact that they test all the equipment prior to delivery and they are an Authorised Dealer of Makita, so should of been able to obtain stock much easier after this experience I think they need to look at their practices. If I'd been told it was going to be so long I could of cancelled the order and sourced else where. After all they don't compensate you for cr4ppy service
Excellent service with great communication including to the carrier who followed instructions to the letter - now that's unusual. All this with competitive pricing, what more can a chap ask for! The kit does exactly what it says on the box as well. Is there no end to this praise you might well ask. Thoroughly justified though.
Usually when I order items on the Internet i get fairly immediately, an email confirming my order and details of when it will be dispatched and how i can trace it. With World of Power, nothing for 5 days, next day delivery! Ok in the end but 5 days wondering whether my order had been received.
Chain tensioner not engaged properly - needed to be rectified. Brake jammed on - needed to be freed. still working to get unit operational. Good job I have experience with chain saws.
From the time it placed my order I was kept fully informed as to its progress, I was told there may be a delay but the following day informed my order was dispatched and it arrived a day earlier than predicted
My first experience with Worldofpower was more than satisfactory so will be using them again for sure. They offered the best price on the city grill bbq and even offered next day free delivery so i made a great saving on this product. My only moan is that it would be good if they used a courier who offers a 1 hour delivery slot so you do not have to wait in all day for the delivery.
All great - excellent online ordering, nice & simple and products all work.

The website is easy to navigate, ordering is straightforward and tracking of order is first class. Very speedy service which even surprised me (an experienced on line shopper) as to how quick the delivery arrived.

My Husqvana 236 chainsaw starter mechanism failed after 11months use. E-mailed WoP of the problem. They came back with a freepost address very quickly. I posted the faulty part for their investigation. Within the week I received my part back with the faulty part replaced without any quibble. I refitted the starter mechanism and the chainsaw started without a problem. For an internet company you could not ask for a better after sales service.
I also e-mailed Husqvana of the problem and possible design fault but they just fobbed me of to WoP. Husqvana need to review the mechanism design because this problem looks as if is likely to re-occur.
I have bought 2 petrol engine tools recently and spent a lot of time googling to find the cheapest supplier, both times ending up at the WOP site. On top of the cheap price they where delivered the following day for no delivery charge and they had been assembled and checked.
Saw was delivered without fuss, usual courier issues in that they would not leave as I was not in, but given value of saw this was sensible, Cannot fault World of Power though so far.
time will tell if they continue to be good, the level of service should also be measured in the after care they provide and I have not (thankfully had to test this)

Ordered my Makita leaf blower on-line on evening of Thursday 7th Nov,website easy to use,payment made via paypal,so far so good however no confirmation email received that night. Next day,still no email so phoned,was told by helpful lady that "her colleague was downloading my order" and I would get email with tracking info "straight away". She said my order would come on Monday. Friday afternoon still no email. Phoned at 1715 Friday,you had all gone home for weekend,not particularly customer-friendly if you cannot contact anyone by phone from 1700 Friday to 1000 Monday. Waited over weekend and at 0818 Monday morning I finally got your email. Was able to call carrier who gave me rough delivery slot which was useful. Machine arrived on time and well packed. I am very pleased with it.
So my suggestions would be 1/ Send a confirmation email immediately an order is placed,and send another one when dispatch is arranged.2/ Consider extended phone hours surely 0900/1730 should be a minimum?
Impressive; easy to order, delivered within two days without fuss.
They are relaible and quick, my order was placed 2PM and arrived the next day by 10 AM
One minor niggle, they did not include the oil as stated - I had to ask for it!
