Have you ever tried the site wowcher because if you haven't you really should its the best site going for discount I use it and won't go anywhere for anything without looking on wowcher first you really need to give it a go I've just bought my daughters Christmas present and got £145 discount now how can that not be brilliant

Orders are usually promptly dispatched and always appear as in the adverts. I've been devoted since October, and bought jewellery, rugs, toys and gourmet experiences. Delivery has always been good BUT I am currently waiting for two toy dysons for grandchildren's christmas presents and am getting a little heated by their absence.
Bought some lovely things from wowcher. I couldn't be happier with their service and customer service team with any queries I had.
The web page is very easy to use although the little disclaimers are sometimes not as clear as they should be. Sometimes we are sent an e-mail to confirm that we can now redeem our voucher at other times not, a little inconsistent.
Aside from the few niggling points above you do get pretty good deals on services!
I ordered two products from wowcher recieved some dodgy toothbrush heads and the second order well where do I start.
I brought a voucher for an overnight stay at the Barley mow in Tandridge.
It was the bed and breakfast stay from hell.
It was like a set from faulty towers even had its own Basil. No heating broken bed,dirty room to name a few.
I wrote a complaint to wowcher regarding this awful place still waiting for a reply.
I spoke to cutomer services prior to my comments and they advised me to contact wowcher via email with my complaint.Idid complain to the staff at the B&Bbut felt it important to let wowcher hear of my concerns and this is their response at least they could have looked into my complaint rather than show an absolute lack of interest once the product is sold.
Purchased an electric blanket - redeemed on 19th November with the assurance 'Your goods will be delivered by 03 Dec 2013'. Nothing so far. Have sent an email to customer enquiries and just got an email back saying 'Due to an increase in volumes in the run up to Christmas we aim to respond within 5 working days'. So potentially no assistance until 10 days after the delivery deadline. Will stick to Amazon in the future.
I bought a Wowcher for a full car valet which cost me £12. The code came through and we drove to the address for the valet to be carried out.
When we pulled up on the forecourt, a member of staff told us that the deal was "dodgy" and that they only do deals with KGB, not Wowcher. Immediately, alarm bells started ringing. He wasn't prepared to even look at our voucher, so we had to reverse out feeling embarrassed.
I immediately sent Wowcher an email explaining what had happened, making sure to inform them of my order number and received an automated response telling me a reply could take up to 72hrs. Bleak.
I sent my email at 14.18 on 25/11 and received a reply at 17.15 on 29/11, so that's actually 96hrs later, not 72 which the automated email had promised.
In this reply, I was asked for more details as apparently the code I had supplied was incorrect. In fact, it was definitely correct as I had double checked it before sending.
I supplied the requested details and sent the email then received another automated response telling me to wait 72hrs.
At this point, I was fed up of waiting so picked up the phone around a quarter of an hour before 5pm to speak to somebody. Please bear in mind this is a PREMIUM RATE number and I was waiting 14 minutes before I was cut off.
I had to sit and endure 'Wowcher girls just wanna have fun' on a loop for 14 whole minutes and I didn't even get to speak to somebody. When I pressed redial, I got 'thanks for calling, we are now closed' so I can only assume they didn't answer my call purposely as they were due to clock off. Nice!
On 04/12 (9 days after my initial email) I received an automated message telling me I had been refunded. Very strange idea of "customer service"...
I didn't once receive an apology for my trouble or an explanation as to why this inconvenience had occurred.
AVOID this company - they don't keep their promises and don't apologise for messing you around. We as consumers deserve better! Try LivingSocial instead.
Having never bought before from Wowcher there was a fantastic offer from Juggernet for a set of knives, just bought my own place so these deals are a godsend........providing they turn up.
I redeemed my voucher three weeks ago and have received nothing despite my account being debited. I have contacted Juggernet who said they will try to track my parcel and have heard nothing back. Neither have Wowcher responded. On 26/11/2013 I ordered a jewelry set as an xmas pressie so fingers crossed this one gets here! Never had an issue with ordering items from Groupon, They have always turned up.
I purchase from wowcher weekly, they have some amazing offers. If I have ever had a problem it has been sorted in a matter of days unlike weeks or even months with living social/groupon.
I love wowcher couldn't ask for more except for a bit more free credit! :)
Purchased 2 vouchers for onesies at Leilaeve 1voucher was invalid 4days for response code still invalid so refund requested 4 days for new response and now 5 days for refund to arrive what a joke. To add to my disappointment leilaeve conracted me to advise the order i placed 9 days ago and expecting receipt of tomorrow ago cannot be fulfilled as its out of stock refund requested but they need to send it back through wowcher so that will be 2 more weeks before i see my money. Two companies that are a total joke and should be avoided
I ordered the scooter for £70 two weeks ago, Rode the scooter for literally 15 minutes, after following all the instructions provided in the product manual. However after that the scooter wouldn't charge any more and couldn't reach top speed any-more. The scooter was literally falling apart after 48 hours of having received it. I contacted wowcher immediately then, and have been sending them 5 emails a day with no reply. However I did receive an email earlier but it was in my junk mails, so their customer service score is high because they replied on the given time, but nevertheless would appreciate it in the future if product quality was tested on specific products.
Bought a deal a few weeks back for a £60 voucher to use on Super Breaks. The advert did not specify the type of holiday the voucher was valid for and as a result I bought the deal in order to book a hotel in London.
When it came to booking my code was invalid and on approaching Wowcher via email took four days to reply. I explained my frustration to which I got a reply "so are you saying you want a refund???"
Not acceptable. I advised they made their adverts more clear and they disregarded my feedback.
Just general sloppy customer service.
In April, I bought a 99 pound voucher for a Murder Mystery evening + accommodation + dinner + breakfast at Ramada Hatfield. I spoke to Ramada Hatfield on the phone, and was told that my booking had been confirmed for 29 November 2013, and that I would receive a confirmation email 1-2 weeks prior to the 29th. I never received a confirmation email, and when I contacted Ramada to check on my booking, I was told that there was no booking in my name.
When I contacted Wowcher on 22 November, they sat on my email for 4 DAYS (NOT 72 hours, as they claim) before passing it on to Ramada Hatfield. Ramada Hatfield replied to them promptly on 27 November, telling them that my booking for 29 November was indeed there. However, Wowcher again sat on this email for a further 5 days, and only passed it on to me on the 2nd of December, which was pointless!!
I am absolutely furious that Wowcher sat on this email for 5 days - if they had bothered to respond to me promptly, this would never have happened. It just shows how little they care about PAYING customers.
When I asked them for a refund, I was told that I could not get one, but I could have 50% of my money back in Wowcher credits. I am appalled that they are refusing to refund me my money when this situation is not my fault! Furthermore, I want nothing more to do with Wowcher ever again, and the last thing I want is MORE Wowcher credit!!! I just want my money back!
I will stick to Groupon from now on, and will NEVER be using Wowcher again. I would recommend everyone to stay far away from it! They are thieves and only seem to have an interest in taking people's money, without providing anything in return.
This company is just out there to get your money so BEWARE!!!.... I have been buying a lot of vouchers from these daily deal sites...Groupon, Livingsocial and Wowcher. So many times, I have made a mistake in purchasing products but I never had such problem as when I was cancelling the order with WOWCHER. I ordered an item with a direct check out on their website. This item is being sold by them for 13.99 pounds but when I checked ebay, it was being sold for 3 quid but they have refused to cancel because they said the period is finished etc. So they cannot refund me the money I paid for the item, and yet they do not want to refund the money for the delivery. I do not understand why they cannot refund the money that I have paid for the delivery since I did not have the item anyway. NORMALLY, they should only cancel the amount on my voucher and still refund the DELIVERY CHARGES since there will be no delivery that will take place. In total I lost 13.99 for that Item. Because of that horrible experience with their customer service, I asked the CS to also cancel my new order which cost me 24.99. They have refunded me the 24.99 but it isnt written anywhere even on the FAQS that these wowcher wallet credits have EXPIRY DATES as well....... so I checked my balance and my 24.99 is gone. I have emailed wowcher so many times regarding my issue and I didnt get any response at all. When I call their customer service, the people there cannot help and cannot extend any sort of flexibility with anything. I wonder why they call themselves CUSTOMER SERVICE when there is no SERVICE AT ALL............ Now, with GROUPON, I never have any experience like that, they cannot get things perfect 100% as they deal with dodgy companies sometimes but im all my CS issues with GROUPON. I was always offered a refund, which is a nice gesture hence I KEEP COMING BACK. I will never order anything from this company again and I have also told my friends about this horrible experience. This company should cease existing because they are THIEVES and they are very very frustrating to deal with.
Thought I would buy my Christmas present form wowcher last year. Big mistake didn't receive a thing but they soon took my money! I have spent the last year trying to get it back but all I gat is credits which are no good as I never get the goods and they have even taken money out of my bank for the extra post and packaging!!!! Can't win and can't see how it is legal. Don't use them they are terrible the star rating should be minus. Since this relieve I was contacted on the phone by Mark who was very helpful and sorted out my issues. Hopefully all will go well from now on! Fingers crosses. Thanks Mark
For the first time I decided to buy something from Wowcher rather than groupon. BIG mistake. The item I paid for had 2 flavours which I was never given the option of choosing but in the FAQ it said I would get the choice on the website for the item i paid for. When my code came through via email I went to redeem it, but it would not work for the flavour I wanted. I sent an email to both Wowcher and the website of the item. Wowcher have not replied to me. The website emailed me to say that I would have to choose the flavour when I purchased my Wowcher. I have now sent 3 emails to Wowcher and no reply to any of them. I will never use wowcher again. Groupon had great customer service and so I will continue using them.
I advise no one to use wowcher and will tell my friends never to use wowcher in the future

I made several orders and was told they would come in seven days, it's been over a month and I still have not received not one as of yet. Considering I have given wowcher my money id expect the service to me as a customer to be better as to notifying me what is going on. When I have emailed several times to find out I have been completely ignored.
Tryed to buy jewelry set as a present only for the last two days the link saying no deal found after paying , checking my bank statement this morning to find they've charcged me 23.99 twice !! Fumming , single hard working mum trying to shop about for presents and now £50 down !! Emailed and no reply ,,
I have spoken to a very polite man after a response to this and now have claimed my gift and the other 23.99 has been refunded , thank you would still be a little weary to use again unaided .
Absolute awful customer service. I have not had a reply to my email below for over 3 weeks now. What kind of company is this? One word, terrible. I will shop at Groupon and Amazon Local from now on. Word of advice. Do not spend any money with Wowcher because they will not respond to your complaints. They just want your money. Wowcher = POOR level of customer service and are NOT to be trusted.

Most of the products are overpriced despite claiming they RRP at much higher prices, kinda feels like you're getting the reject products.
Most products don't clearly explain the delivery which should also be listed with the price rather than finding out when you get to the retailers website.
Refunds aren't forth coming, I'm still waiting for one from a product that wasn't as listed and getting nothing back from Wowcher despite the retailer holding up their side of the agreement and refund postage.
I ordered a £19 service hair and beauty service. Couldn't use the voucher as the telephone number provided for the saloon was not answered for days until the voucher expired. No replies whatsoever from wowcher and the saloon (Exquisite Hair and Beauty) say that wowcher needs to refund me. Both organisations are a scam.. Never ever will repurchase from this website!

This Wowcher review is written out of pure frustration how wowcher can treat local business.
I am a large online retailer as well as 4 shops. I had discussions with Wowcher staff member NAME DELETED and several other members of staff, NAME DELETED and NAME DELETED. It was agreed that I secure stock asap from my suppliers for a deal they wanted to run with of kids scooters, contracts were signed, prices were agreed and even the sample was sent to them (of which I am still waiting for it's return despite waiting 2 weeks) etc etc. I duly bought the stock, then it got nasty...as soon as the stock arrived they purposely tried to find reasons to back out and bully me into reducing my prices. Long story cut short, they never ran the deal nationally. I spent days and days chasing Wowcher NAME DELETED and Wowcher NAME DELETED to get the deal sorted. But it was clear that they were intentionally trying to make the deal difficult so that I would give up on trying to make it go live. When it did go live they just placed the advert for 1 day (not 4) in Derby!...yet the signed agreement throughout was for a 4 day National Deal. It was a complete sham, I have £4k worth of stock and they do not give a damn. I even emailed the Wowcher NAME DELETED as well as the Wowcher NAME DELETED. No replies, just their organ grinding monkey foot soldiers to deal with. Thankfully for me I have shops and a very good online presence to be able to sell this stock fast, although they were never told this. And now the Wowcher customers who did buy this scooter so close to Christmas are now going to be disappointed, because there is now way I'm going to have them delivered and then take a chance in getting my money from Wowcher. I bought this stock exclusively for sale on Wowcher, but they are bare faced liars and totally incompetent. All buyers and sellers at Wowcher…you have been warned!

I ordered three codes for paintballing but could not take it up because the dates I wanted was not open. In addition I bought a lenovo tablet that has detachable keypad but sometimes the keypad does not work. I seen a similar offer on ebay it came with free case. The final issue is I tried to order shishaa pens using the codes I brought from wowcher. I promised my dad a shisha Pen. I contacted wowcher but they have not given me a response. I believe groupon has better customer even when my voucher was expired they gave me a refund. I will warn the world to stay away from wowcher.
I have used wowcher many times and generally the process is smooth BUT when something goes wrong it is almost impossible to get a response from wowcher. I have sent a few emails now about 2 or 3 orders that I have been waiting for and still haven't arrived with me, I think they responded to one of the emails and I still didn't get a resolution. I also emailed the merchant of one of the items on numerous occasions and once again, received no response. Good deals, love the club wowcher thing but what's the point in purchasing from somewhere that does not care about their customers!!
ive had one item delievered from wowcher no problem good quality. then like all good things it came to an end. im missing 4 orders. i have bought one wowcher which when i go to redeem the link is not valid. Also i have another order which took £20.00 delievery off me when it was supposed to be 4 and id already paid it withing my wowcher deal. i have not yet receieved confirmation of my order or any other correspondence from the company or wowcher after numerous emails. im hoping the rest will come. its sad as they are christmas presents and have ordered from groupon many times with no problems and faster delievery. im so angry i could cry !! ive lost out on over £70. its ridiculous !!
bought a wowcher for 2 scooters for my kids Christmas. one voucher code was accepted and redeemed, but the other one is not recognised, so I have a wowcher of £69 worth nothing and my daughter won't get a scooter for Christmas. I have emailed wowcher twice asking for help as im running out of time to redeem, but no answer. so angry. certainly wont be using wowcher again.
I have bought a few items from wowcher, most without any hiccups. However, I recently purchased two photo books for £10 each instead of £40 odd, only one coupon actually worked and the other did nothing at all so I ended up paying full price!
I then bought a jewellery set and found the quality absolutely abysmal, it was supposed to be worth £90 but I wouldn't have paid 50p for it! Wowcher did email me back when I had issues with the jewellery company not responding. They sent out a replacement set and a free gift but both were just as poor quality so really I am still out of pocket as I cannot use the product.
Overall I am fairly satisfied, gutted I had to pay for the photo book and a useless voucher code though. I think wowcher need to seriously look at the products and companies they use because they will end up with a very bad reputation if this sort of thing continues to happen
I have been chasing a refund from Wowcher for weeks due to the merchant being unable to guarantee the delivery after they had a bag of rings stolen. It took a lot of effort to get the postage refund from the merchant but finally they did. Wowcher has emailed the mechant asking if it is ok to refund it and the merchant says they have replied yes. Wowcher is saying they haven't so I am stuck in the middle. I have emailed Wowcher emails from the merchant saying they approve the refund but now Wowcher has gone silent.

I paid £69 to wowher for 3 weeks nails and than again £6.99 to 3 weeks nails. 3 weeks nails never email you back and there phone is cut off. I than found out that from Susanne fowler that it was never dispatched. Once again still no refund and wowcher wont help when they allowed a dodgy company to see on there we site. They should be contracting the company about the lack of support to customers and getting the refund for them

Purchased a one night stay at Slalyey Hall Northumberland. The voucher clearly stated it expires on 30th November2013. When we tried to book for the 24th (Sunday ) was told it had to be booked by 30th OCTOBER 13!!! Nothing of that nature stated in the voucher supplied! Told to contact wowcher, Sent an email and got a response to say "thanks for email, sorry you wish to cancel your wowcher!!!!!" and that we can have 50% in return!!!! My email said nothing of the sort about cancelling, I wanted to know why the voucher states it expires on 30th November yet the merchant wont take a booking! or where it says booking has to be made by 30th October 13?
Ive sent an email to that effect back to them 3 days a go asking a manager to ring me! and still no reply!
Will be contacting trading standards and Watchdog on BBC if I dont get a refund!!!

I have sent 4 emails to the company directly and 3 to wowcher. I have spoken to the wowcher team twice as well.
I bought a 3 week nail set which arrive with one broken gel polish, and one which said 14day nails, well hang on the kit is called three week nails?
I have sent pictures to both companies. Three week nails have never responded and the number given isn't recognised!
Wowcher said they would resolve this issue and call me back... This did not happen. I rang again today and the woman was very short with me and said my only option is to return the item. I explained to her I didn't have the company address and that I don't want to pay £7 to post this item as I won't get this money back. I then told her I would like to know the wowcher complaints procedure, apparently it is is their email.
This item cost me £70, it was a gift for someone's birthday and I have been waiting 3 weeks for this to be resolved.
Not happy at all
I've had a very bad experience with this company, they don't seem to check out the companies that they let advertise with them. I bought a app building course which was a few PDFs telling me how to come up with an idea for an app not a course or anything telling me to actually make the app. When I got through to customer services after re sending my emails twice each time, they could only offer me credit. I used the credit to buy some sunglasses, when they arrived they were the wrong colour and very cheaply made, so barely worth the voucher money let alone what they were supposed to be.
I agree that trading standards need to check wowcher out as customers are not getting a fair deal or good service. They should not be letting companies mislead customers and they should not be letting companies advertise with them if they cannot deal with a mass of customers.
I purchased a domestic cleaning voucher in August, emailed the merchant in September to make an appointment. A lady called me and we scheduled the cleaning to be done on 11 Nov. No one showed up, I have been calling this company and their voicemail box is always full and they have not answered my emails. I have written to Wowcher (email@example.com) 3 times now and no one has even replied other than the automated reply saying they aim to respond within 72 hours. It has now been a week since I first wrote to them. I logged on to my wowcher account and saw that my voucher had been 'redeemed'!!!! So who is authorised to change that status?? I agree with other reviewers here that Trading Standards need to watch this company. If I don't get a response I too will be writing to Trading Standards.
As a whole the website/ app are not user friendly and it is very hard to want to use Wowcher.
Their email enquiries@wowcher. co.uk must ve an unwatched inbox. I have been trying to get an authorised refund for weeks to which I feel Wowcher just wants to keep my money.
The issue I had with the merchant is seperate but both the merchant and myself want me to be refunded and yet Wowcher just want me to resend emails they ready have and when I give them an answer they like to ignore it.

I recently purchased a solid oak dining table with 8 chairs and an oak sideboard from wowcher, totalling nearly £800.00 ! We were in the process of moving house so didn’t open it straight away left it all wrapped up, in the packaging etc… To open it last Sunday to find the dining table all broken underneath! I contacted Mountrose who the table was supplied from and they said to contact wowcher direct. On Monday I called wowcher and they advised me to e mail the damaged photos over to them and someone would return my e mail that day…. Surprise surprise nothing heard. So I called Tuesday to be advised “the lady in despatch wasn’t in yesterday” one lady?! Ok, no problem, someone would look at my damaged photos and get back to me That day (Tuesday)… By 6 pm Id still not heard a whisper, So I called again Wednesday to be told someone would get back to me that day… Sure enough by 2pm Id had an e mail yippee!... They wanted to see damaged photos (Id already sent these on Monday) !! And wanted to know a day the following week when someone would be available to pick the table up…. after a long wait trying to get through to Customer services, they advised me that the lady named Kennedy had gone home now and she was working her way through the various e mails and mine hadn’t got to the top! Here’s a suggestion wowcher employ more than one person then! So here we are Friday afternoon and I’m STILL waiting to see if my table is going to be picked up in just5 days’ time as I have to arrange somebody to sit at home all day whilst they come… and weather the new table will be delivered on the same day!... I have bought several items from Wowcher and will never buy from them again after this utter rubbish customer experience!
I joined Wowcher a few months ago and decided to get the MAC and myface makeup class offer. Turned up and was turned away from the door with four other ladies as we were late. The email confirmation gave a later time than what they claimed the time of the class was for. That wasn't Wowcher's fault, but the following is: I emailed them informing them that I wanted my card refunded as it was not a good experience, they credited my wowcher account with the cost of the voucher which was around £21. At that point I should have complained, but didn't, I decided ok my money is there if there's any other offers I can just use the credit and be done with it...fine.
A few weeks later it was my mate's bday and I decided to get a voucher to see a burlesque act did so spending £9.99 out of £21 leaving £11.01. No other deals that they had appealed to me so its been there in cyber space.
Then a few weeks ago I got an email from them saying I got £5 credit so I thought let me use the remainder and get anything that I can use, only to realise that my money had 'expired'!
I've tweeted them; no reply and I've decided I've learnt my lesson I want to close my account which I had to message them about as well as there is no option where you can on their website, they have not replied to me up until this point.
This serves to educate anyone who is seriously thinking of using this company..Don't! And if you do you're going to eventually end up like the rest of us writing letters of complaint and emails that will never be answered or not obeying your instructions.
I purchased a deal for what was described by Wowcher as "Luxury Toilet Roll". It was only Wowcher that described it as Luxury. I checked on the suppliers website and nowhere did it mention Luxury, it did mention Economy, and thats certainly what it was. I class Cushelle and Andrex as Luxury but this one was about 1" smaller in all dimensions and it was quite thin. I would put it on par with a supermarket value brand.
Why Wowcher described it as Luxury is beyond me but it was certainly deceiving.
Before I buy anything from Wowcher I will certainly check the suppliers description beforehand.
