Recieved the flowers on monday , they were well wrapped and when I took them out of their wrappers, and followed the instructions on cutting a bit off the stems and putting the liquid food in the vase with water and arranged them. To me they were lovely better than the picture in the website. I will certainly be ordering flowers again from them and will give their name to my friends.
I started ordering flowers for my wife the afternoon before her birthday (I am a man after all) I found a special bunch (Amazonia) on Serenata containing Bird of Paradise flowers that would remind her of our trip to PNG earlier this year but when I tried to order them I kept getting a message that the page was unavailable. I could only see these flowers on Serenata and no other business so I emailed them on the contact page, got a reply very quickly, still could not get into the order page, emailed again got another quick reply and then a phone call and was able to process my order over the phone. Excellent service
The flowers arrived next morning and my wife was very impressed! Beautiful flowers.
It appeared on a Saturday evening that 2 important sets of flowers had failed to have been delivered. One for step-mother's 82nd birthday and one for the funeral plot for my father on the first anniversary of his death. Even though I have an email saying they were delivered my stepmother has not seen them. She walked round the house twice looking. There is no phone number to follow up with, and Serenata provided no response to 4 emails. Dreadful. The following morning it turns out the driver had left the two boxes under a hedge at the front of the garden (instructions said deliver to rear of house). It is pouring with rain. The boxes are bulky and she is 82. Next time I will use a flower delivery company with a phone number. Like http://flowerstation.co.uk/.
I ordered a bouquet, along with chocolates and a balloon, for my Mum’s 80th birthday as an initial small gift for her and, on the day, she admitted that they were “absolutely awful”, “rubbish”, and “disgusting”. She informed me that “all of the leaves and flowers were drooping” and some of them dropped off onto the floor and the sink when she tried to transfer them to a vase. I am very embarrassed and annoyed to have found this out, particularly as they should have been a lovely surprise for her, and she and I are both extremely upset about the appalling quality of the flowers. The most disappointing of all is that the flowers were to act as a pre-celebratory “card”, as I was unable to see her until a couple of weeks after her birthday for the full celebration with presents etc. This really destroyed what should have been something special!!! Although I have used Serenata Flowers on numerous occasions, I will never use them again, and am now concerned that the family members who have called to Thank me for flowers in the past were simply being generous about their Serenata gifts rather than actually telling me how it is!!!!
Ordered flowers for delivery on the 14th July for my mum's 80th birthday. She lives in England, I'm stuck in Australia and I thought I would be able to trust Serenata Flowers, since they have such widespread advertising and such good comments on their website. How wrong could I have been? My mum probably doubts I ever bothered -- no flowers delivered. I contacted Serenata by email and got the response that they were chasing up the courier as a matter of urgency and would contact me when they had received a reply from the courier. Well that's one way to pass the buck. No response so far and it's now the 18th. Have just emailed them with a lot of capital letters in the email as it's the only way I can vent my frustration apart from maybe Trustpilot and spreading the word publicly with a link on Facebook. So far I am angry and disappointed beyond belief. I will update this if I receive a satisfactory response from them, and I will update if I do not. In fact I will tell everyone I can possibly tell, including what the flowers are like if they eventually turn up. The one star is given grudgingly -- so far they deserve no stars at all - not even a dwarf one.
I have now received a refund, so thank you Serenata. I will now award you a star, but you really do need to sort your couriers out. Thank you.
