Solely a steelbook customer here. Zavvi should continue to be the best steelbook distributor in the world but understand that as customers of steelbooks we are fussy. The artwork should be judged by a panel as well as reading feedbacks from potential customers. Zavvi should also note that their preorder system is faulty. Other websites let you change you credit/debit card details even after the initial pre order has been put in. Many friends are complaining that if a problem occurs with their card they have to change the details. Historically you have suggested reordering but the item they have preordered has since sold out. Meaning they lose out through no fault of their own. Not to mention you don't even offer that customer first choice if you find more stock later on. I have also heard you put some items on ebay, this is not a good practice and only fuels more speculation you don't care about your loyal customers. Any special items should be put online at a time when UK customers are more likely to be the purchasers. Historically you have put them up at times when US citizens are more likely to gobble up the lions share of a special product meaning many UK customers lose out. I would even put a priority on UK customers by giving them a 24 hour head start on preorders. I have never had a problem with packaging. Lastly I have heard your customer service team rarely listen to the voices of unhappy customers. I have not been in that position but it would be great if people were treated as if they important to you.
