The site presents as operating in the UK and other countries but only reveals freight costs and the reality once you've gone to all the effort of putting the order together. This is clearly unethical. I ordered a single custom mouse mat which had not been finished properly so the surface comes away from the base - it had never been stuck properly. Delivery time also took longer than stated despite costing more than £30 which I wouldn't have condoned had I not been in a rush at the time.
I ordered two items on january 31st, and got my confirmation the same day, saying that my order was ready for shipping, and that I would recieve it within 10 - 12 days. When I hadn't received anything on february18th, I contacted customer service and was asked to please ait until the 25th, and then contact them again if I still haven't recieved my package. So I contacted Zazzle Again on the evening of the 25th, and they promissed me that they would replace my order and even send it to me Express. When I got home from Work on the 27th, the original shipment had arrived, and I immediatly contacted Zazzle and asked them to cancel the new shipment. They replied shortly after to let me know that it had already been shipped, and that I didn't have to return the second shipment, I could keep it. The replacement order arrived by truck on the 28th which I think is amazing. They have not charged me for anything regarding the replacement order, and every e-mail I have received has been very polite. So - Thank you Zazzle - I'll be happy to shop from your site again
I ordered two t.shirts (one for my brother and one for myself). Unfortunately the women's t didn't fit as it was too small. I was expecting a lengthy returns procedure but to my surprise and delight they said that I could have a full refund without having to return the item either. I've read the other reviews and it would seem that several people have had a negative experience. All I can do is speak as I find and I'm happy to report that I had a really good experience with Zazzle. Even though they are based in the US my items came promptly.
Sent 2 cards on the 3/02/14 and the 2 Recipients of the cards only received them 2day...Thats 12 days for Delivery, thats too long , especially with it was £2.77 for the delivery..! Then I was told by both people that the Invoice was attached to the front of the cards, stating the price I had payed. How EMBARRASSING....! Both said the cards were nice...I haven't seen them..! I had Sent a Birthday card on the 06/02/14 to my uncle and he still hasn't received it yet and his birthday is now, long over...but hopefully it will arrive SOON..! I'm Sure with the Invoice Attached to it..! Overall not a Great Service...! Wont use again..!
I ordered two cards for my daughters birthday due to the only company to have good horse picture cards and they said they could deliver within 5 days well i'm still waiting if they don't arrive today will miss my daughters birthday ( I thought 2 weeks was more than enough time to send two cards). They were very expensive nearly £15 for two cards and one of them was a small card but though it would make my daughters birthday, I contacted them the other via email and they stated a load of rubbish about being only 6 working days taking into account ordering on a weekend (I ordered at 7am on a Tuesday). I will never ever use this over priced and very bad delivery service company as they have spoilt my daughters suprise for me and I have had to rush out to find other birthday cards (Without horses on). Thanks for nothing except ripping me off and not even delivering so far. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY stick with moonpig or funky pigeon.
I will never be using this company again. I ordered a birthday card from Zazzle for a young girl only to have a totally inappropriate card delivered. The card which was for a 10 year old was vulgar and full of swear words. How a company can be so incompetent is totally beyond me! At the end of the day, we enter all the wording on their website when ordering, and all they have to do is print it and post it!
Really - can't help feeling sorry for these guys! I read trust pilot BEFORE ordering but decided - what the h... I'll try, - since I really loved the idea of the product I was ordering as a Christmas present It was an iPhone cover - and At the same time I decided to order one for myself The web page has a really nice design, easy to use - you can upload your own photos, change size, font, add text - you name it I found it very easy and quite awesome! It was funny designing your own stuff - I ordered only 8 days before Christmas - knowing that they are US- based I didn't count on the items making it - but they did The quality is VERY good and I really truly recommend zazzle .... Everybody keeps asking me about my cool phone cover :) Only difficulty: I needed to send the two phone covers to two different countries. Zazzle webpage says it's possible, but I couldn't make it work when I checked out Finally - I had them both shipped to Denmark - and my family sent mine to Spain afterwards - which didn't bother me much Try them - it's cool stuff!
In desperation for an office secret santa present I placed an order for a mug (irony) but wished I had Googled 'Zazzle reviews' beforehand? :(
As with most people here was lead to believe that the item ordered would be despatched from the UK- this is not the case. Realised too late and not only got absolutely rinsed on delivery charges (10 quid to post a mug?) it arrived way past the intended Xmas period despite being ordered on the 10th December.
To be fair, they did answer support emails fairly promptly though.
OK, First off before I have my little rant I cannot stress how overpriced this websites products are. It's something like £25 for an iPhone case (you can get a custom one from eBay for about £10!) but after all that they incourage you to go to their UK site thinking that it's made and sent in the UK, think again! It's just a con to make you buy their stuff. Their stuff is made in the US and shipped to the UK meaning that if you buy anything over £15 you will have to pay Customs Fee's. Also, I bought a simple keyring from them and it broke in a day.
Like many other people I've been duped by Zazzle's website which appears to be all UK-based but isn't. Ordered a framed poster for a friend - prices reasonable for the poster and frame, postage high but I figured packing costs on the glass and such would be a little higher. Only when the order was processed did I discover it was coming from the US - so now the cost of postage and the customs charge I just had to pay have put the delivery over the cost of the item and made for a very expensive Christmas present.
I tried to create a collage mousemat as a Christmas gift, the site wouldn't upload photos from my pc and therefore I was unable to create the mousemat. I work in IT and think the fault lies with a very poorly designed website. I wasted 1/2 an hour of my life on this before getting the product I wanted from the boots website for a much cheaper price.
Update- I contacted Zazzle about my issue and explained that I was using a Windows 7 computer with all the latest updates and most recent software. They replied "please make sure that you are using the most up-to-date versions of Zazzle-supported browsers: Internet Explorer 9 or higher" Seeing as the most recent version of Internet Explorer is 11 and I stated I was using the most recent software I can only assume they didn't read my email or couldn't be bothered. Either way not only is the website awful but the customer service is useless. Can I give no stars?
I ordered an IPad cover, being under the impression the company was UK based. This was over a month ago, and still no IPad cover, no response to my emails and, surprise, surprise, they are US based. Their site promises 3 -4 days dispatch time. Maybe their days are longer over there…..Will never use them again and this only goes to show that if you want good service, support the local company's as at least you can get hold of them if you have a problem. As for Zazzle whose site creates the impression they are local based - very misleading and can only assume it is a one man operation being run from someone's garage.
Ordered a pet bereavement card for my mum....over a week ago....still not arrived ....which I thought was strange as the high £2.75 charge for postage should have meant a 1st class delivery time....now realise the misleading con that this company are not UK based but US based !! So now, my poor old mum is just coming to terms with her loss - and then in 2-3 weeks time ( or more from what I have been reading about this sham of a company ) she will get her card - no doubt upsetting her all over again !! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED...Why are Zazzle conning people like this - ITS IMMORAL.
The product does not look like those I ordered. The prints are in different colors and printed in a wrong place on the shirts (Almost on the lower back). After receiving 24 not acceptable shirts I contacted Zazzle customer service. They gave me some good options: Getting my money back or getting some new shirts. I gave them a chance and ordered some new. They are not better than the first once, unfortunately.
I think they have the best of attentions and they are very friendly, but they need to get their shit together and work on the quality of the products. The shirts you design on their website does not look at all like those you will get.
I can imagine the main problem is that you order from UK but the production is in USA. Maybe they have some communication problems.
I, unlike many others on this site have to say I can't fault the service of Zazzle. I read the reviews below, panicked, and called to California where the agent did confirm all goods would travel from USA--and worse still they had 4th July Holidays to interrupt delivery schedules. The goods have arrived today, after just 6 Working Days. Perfect condition, well packaged and worth the worry that the items wouldn't arrive for my son's B'day Party on Sunday. So all I can say is Zazzle------BE HONEST!!!!! Why have a co.uk website in a world where people will choose to buy from a .com US site if they want to. It only leads to confusion, upset and bad reviews. Your service was great and I will use you again but now I know to order with plenty of advance notice!!!! EASY PEASY!!!!
I wouldn't give 1 star. Sent for invites on high quality paper option, received 9 days after an email advised they were in the post. This was a slight problem, but not major. When the package arrived, 4 of the 30 invites were damaged at the edges, but worse than that, the printing on the reverse was upside down - no quality check before issue. Sent an email to one address - no response, then a second - you try work out how to contact them in the UK. Got a sugar coated nothing response, I asked them to send a replacement ASAP while I sent back the originals, on the proviso that if the didn't agree they could charge me for them - 3 times I asked and the 3rd email contained photos of what the problem was....Haven't heard from them in a week and going by the reviews, there is little chance that I will. THERE IS NO UK PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT AND EMAILS ARE 2-3 BUSINESS DAYS TO REPLY.... SMELL A RAT? Absolutely shocking, outrageous behaviour and I have basically been robbed. DO NOT BUY - read all the other review websites, I'm not alone.
Ordered before I saw the review of the site on Trustpilot, and must admit that after the 12 business days ended, and I still didn't receive my invitations, I was kind of angry. Then on business day 14, they came, yay! I would order from them Again.
Firstly, this company is based in the US - not the UK - which means you'll be waiting weeks for your product to turn up.
I ordered a Men's S t-shirt from their website using the size chart on the website to make exactly sure it would fit. The t-shirt did not turn up after the promised 15 days and after 18 days they said it was probably lost in the post and would send me a replacement.
The replacement was sent out express delivery and turned up a few days later - but was absolutely tiny, was a Women's Size S and wouldn't have fit a child. I told Zazzle who said they would send another replacement and I didn't have to return the incorrect t-shirt to them - but the replacement was not sent out express delivery.
The replacement t-shirt has arrived today - exactly two months since my original order was supposedly shipped - and is a WOMEN'S SIZE S - again! Unbelievable.
I've written back to them asking for a refund. There's a reason I wanted to use a UK based retailer. Avoid zazzle.co.uk
I ordered a medium ladies t-shirt and when it came the size would not have fit a small child. There is no size guide on the web-site. I have -mailed asking for a refund but their returns policy seems to indicate that i will need to pay the return postage. Like many others i did not realise that this was not a UK compamny. Very misleading. Poor sizes.
