I got a great deal on my Zen 3 inch King size mattress cover from GroupOn and I cannot recommend it enough. My back does not bother me anymore or hurt when i first wake up. I received my order sooner than expected and the minimal contact I have had with Zen I found them to have prompt and courteous support. Thanks Zen!
I originally ordered my mattress on 10/27 and just received the mattress on 12/2. Not only was this a horribly long time, the communication from Zen was terrible. I was told to expect email communication within 2-3 weeks, and received none. I then was told to expect the shipping information within another week, and received none. When I inquired, I was told that there was a delay. And that was all. After another week I finally received a shipping notice and tracking number. Once the mattress was actually shipped it took less than a week to get to me.
If I had known from the beginning that it would take this long, I would have been fine with it - but Zen lied, mis-led, and provided no communication throughout the process.
I have had the mattress for 2 nights now and it is great. High quality, and extremely comfortable. I purchased the Luxury Memory Foam with Cooling via a Groupon.
My husband and I were soo excited to receive our new mattress from Zen Bedrooms. I have neck and back pain and wanted something with good support so I could actually sleep through the night. We got our mattress, let it sit and expand, and I knew right away we hadn't got what we'd hoped for. Luxury mattress?? I have never slept on anything so uncomfortable in my LIFE. I thought I'd give it a chance but it was more painful than I even thought it would be. I thought maybe I was too light to sink down in the mattress like you're supposed to but even my 180 lb husband said he felt like he'd slept on the hard ground all night. I cried all morning both from pure disappointment and from the pain of sleeping on it. I've felt may other foam mattresses and this is no where CLOSE to as nice as those. Now I've tried to contact Zen Bedrooms and asked what I could do and haven't heard back from anyone.(Of course now that it's expanded, shipping it back will cost half of what it cost me to buy in the first place) I have NO idea how it has so many good reviews--everyone that has come over, we've shown it to and they are aghast after feeling it. We can't even sell it to anyone else bc no one wants it. A complete and utter waste of money. Guess I'll b sleeping on the couch until I can find a new mattress. Buyers beware!!
Delivery was prompt and the mattress was more then expected in size and the quality.My wife and I were pleased with the purchase and the ease in which everything was handled. If future purchases in bedroom items occur we will definitely look to Zen first !!
We desperately needed a new mattress, as the one in the apartment we're renting was so old you could feel each individual spring and it needed two duvets under the bed sheet to be bearable. We both said we'd try the double mattress as it was on offer for an excellent price and memory foam has a lot of advantages. There was a little confusion regarding delivery, but it was only delayed by a day and was nothing compared to the reviews I had read about waiting weeks for delivery. Mattress was quite uncomfortable when it was first tested (freshly unrolled) but was comfortable enough a few hours later and was very comfortable a few days later. Since I've never used one before it may have just taken me a while to get used to it.
Overall very happy with the mattress, it's not too hard to cause discomfort and also not too soft to make one feel confined or feel as if one is sinking. Delivery was very quick relative to the product and I'm very glad we chose to buy it.
I received my double memory foam mattress which was quite expensive approx one week ago and I have been very disappointed.
The mattress came sealed in plastic packaging and in a card board box, however it has a mouldy smell (as if the mattress go wet/damp). The first night I slept on the mattress I was over whelmed by this awful smell. My partner reported he could not sleep on the mattress a second night and we therefore removed the mattress. I tried using fabric odour removal spray and this only disguised the smell for a number of hours. Prior to the delivery of the mattress, I was looking forward to a comfortable nights sleep. However, the purchase has been a huge disappointment. I could not recommend your products to a friend or purchase any further items.
I have written two emails, rang the United States around 4 times and left a voice message. Our mattress arrived with the packaging open on the corner and so the mattress had become soiled during transport, also it was not a mattress worth the specified amount on the website so as I had not actually taken it out of the packaging it would have been no problem to return it which I asked you repeatedly to do. YOU DID NOT RESPOND IN ANY WAY
This bed is awesome! I don't really sleep on my back normally just because I'm never comfortable, but I find myself falling asleep on my back! Definitely don't toss and turn as much as I do in my old bed!
After ordering our superking size memory foam mattress we we're advised delivery would take 4 weeks which is a great delivery schedule however, we were thrilled to receive our new mattress a mere two weeks afterimage ordering. I would definitely recommend Zen bedrooms as we have never slept so well since getting our mattress. The claims are so true you cannot feel any movement!
I ordered the incorrect size and there was no issue changing my order. The product arrived at the agreed time and it has given us such restful nights. The deal I got wad aazing.
The bed is stiff, gives me back problems. I argued with them over email for a month before they decided to ship out a shitty 2inch memory foam that I'm still waiting for, for weeks now. Dnt but from them

I bought a Zen king size bed. I moved up from a queen size memory foam of another bed. At first I was skeptical because the Zen bed wasn't as firm and was thinner than my queen foam mattress, but after sleeping on it less than a week, I have come to prefer the Zen bed.
Once the package was opened and the bed expanded, the factory smell was pretty strong. I am always weary about this because formaldehyde is horrible for adults and especially children to be around, a lot of items like this are preserved with chemicals. I opened all windows and aired out my whole room for about 2 hours. I was pleasantly surprised here to find in fact that almost all that gross plasticky smell was gone. After putting on a set of new sheets the smell hasn't been noticeable since, leading me to believe that these mattresses do not have heavy chemical residues from the factory, if any.
My partner and I are very happy with our mattress. It's comfortable and we've been sleeping better. Having the mattress delivered to the door was great and super convenient. We also had a groupon so it was really affordable.
The mattress is excellent. It took awhile to get it...but Zen Customer Service is very good to let you know the status of the shipping and it arrived as they said it would. I have never used memory foam before, but I will use only that from now on. It does tend to keep you warmer than a regular mattress, but nothing one less blanket will not fix.
This company was so easy to deal with. I received my mattress within a week just before I was about to go away. I had a couple of emails with customer service and they were very responsive and very quick.
I would easily recommend this company to a friend.
This bed is amazing. I have lower back pain and it has made a world of difference. Since sleeping on the Zen mattress I haven't worked up with back pain it's been over 6 yrs since that's happened. This bed will change your life and the customer service was excellent too. Fast shipping!
The mattress we received is comfortable (but the firmness took some getting used to). My wife likes it hard, though, so she's quite satisfied. Just had to slowly ease in and adjust, and now we sleep like professionals.
The temperature problems I've heard about aren't any trouble for us--we are Goldilocks in this bed.
Had great experience incorporating another person into it, when I contacted customer service and had all my questions answered. Our needs were well met.

The mattress is so hard it is uncomfortable. I contacted Zen and was told that there was nothing they could do. I would have to pay to send it back. That is obviously not an easy or inexpensive thing to do. I asked for them to at least send a mattress top to no avail. I saved up for this mattress and I am truly disappointed. I am going to try and sell it on Craigslist. Do not buy from this company. It is a waste of time and money.
I ordered myself a luxury mattress and it took 6-7 weeks to even get a confirmation and shipment information, when the website claims I'd get it within 2-4 weeks. I had to email the customer service to remind them that they've forgotten about my order (which they never admitted to). I thought I could over-look this because I wanted to order another one for my in-laws. When I ordered another one for them, the order came in quickly to my surprise. However, when the package was opened, we found out the mattress we received was not the size we ordered. Emailing their customer service email back and forth and back and forth about this mix up, they requested for pictures and verification.
It just got so tiring and frustrating after a while you realize that the emails weren't going anywhere. At first, I was reassured a replacement mattress would be sent out that same week. I was later told I would not get a replacement mattress until I provided specific pictures of the mattress. At this point I was already mad that I have to deal with their mistake. It's not my fault they sent out the wrong mattress; it's not my fault they did not specify exactly what they needed, and it's not my fault they can't keep track of what they're doing. Upon going back and forth about what was needed, I got fed up and asked to speak to someone hire up than them. I was told they do not have that option available. That's so unbelievable! And to top it off, the replacement mattress that was "supposedly not to be shipped out until I sent pictures," showed up without their knowledge.
I've asked and asked what was going to happen to the mattress that originally showed up, and I have not received any answers. The only answer I've received is "hold on to it". For what? I do not need this mattress; I do not want this mattress, because I did not order this mattress! And yet, they expect me to "hold on" to this mattress? Believe me, I've tried being an understanding customer, but they have taken it too far. It's been four weeks since I first contacted them letting them know I received the wrong mattress and they still have not given me any information on how they will handle the mattress that I did not order.
Sure, the mattress itself is great, no doubt, but I rather deal with another company who knows what they're doing and have the right information about their orders. Not some random people who are just trying to cover up their mistakes and waste my time. I'm moving on, no thank you Zen Bedrooms.
