I was really impressed with Ziffit at first. Unfortunately after the impressive price offered and super quick pick up by Citylink things took a turn for the worse. My trade was received and quality checked. Ziffit advised there was numerous items not received so my trade value was reduced. I contacted there online chat service as I personally checked and packed all items with my wife and son. They said they would force through the missing items although they could not clarify what they meant by ' force through '. To my horror they then reduced my trade for a second time (£114 originally reduced to £103 and then £98). After over an hour trying to discuss this with customer service I gave up as customer service was poor and it was like I was talking to a robot programmed with only one response. I will not use again and will not recommend to others. I have used competitors to Ziffit before and although they are much slower, they honoured the trade value offered. I AM SURE AN AUTOMATED REPLY WILL BE POSTED TO MY REVIEW.
I have attempted on seven occasions to trade books with this company. As I have typed in ISBN numbers they offer 10p as a rule. If they offer more try to check price with Amazon or E bay On one occasion a book they offered £167 for was worth £128. I sold it on E bay for £89. For six of the seven trades they said they would arrange transport from my home due to the tare level. They did not turn up. I contacted and they rearranged. they did not turn up. My plead to you is!!! It is NOT I repeat NOT worth the effort of putting the books on for trade and be let down. Type in your ISBN by all means. If they offer 10p give the book to charity shops. Any more? Put on Amazon or E bay After that they will let you down. especially as when you send the books or other items they will devalue them and you will not get a full value for your trade.
It was really easy, you type in the books online, decide if your happy with the amount and then boxem up. Once you recieve the postage slip in the post (if like me you dont have a printer) dop the box off at your local collect+ shop. Sit back and wait for your money to appear in your account.
They kept me informed by email at each stage, they offered a reliable, easy and quick service. You may be able to get more money by selling books some other way, but if you're lazy like me this is a great option although they dont take all books only some titles. But it cost nothing to find out.
Ive just traded some items and it was a piece of cake I took my box of books to the local newsagent delivery to ziffit was in a day or so and I got money in my paypal account immediately .I was well pleased will definately use them again.really honest people and today thats saying something
The service was great and much quicker than similar sites I've used before. However I wasn't given a heads up when the money was paid in and had to check where it had come from online. Nice surprise though. The fact books are included too is a real plus.
