I did not know this company had gone into administration and tried to order from it. I gave up after two credit card details were rejected and tried to phone - number doesn't exist. I just hope that my details have disappeared and are not stored somwhere for future use!!
We ordered some kitchen door handles from this company. My wife rang up to add to the order. The staff were very courteous and helpful at this time. She was told the extra handles would be added and she gave her credit card details. When the order arrived the extra handles were not in there. When we phoned the company no one could tell us where the handles were, or my wife's credit card details had gone or who she had spoken to. She spoke to another member of staff who laughed at her when she stated her worry and frustration at both the delay on the order and the fact our credit card details had been taken by someone.
When we spoke to the MD, [name], he told us that they were not able to add to an order, they would have had to have created a separate order, which there wasn’t one on the system. If this was explained to my wife at the time we would not have been in this situation. Had a member of his staff not laughed at the situation my wife it wouldn’t have aggravated the situation. [name] also said it was basically our fault for giving out our details and my wife's manner was the reason for his staffs' behaviour.
Their incompetence resulted in us having to pay for the extra work in fitting the handles. When we pointed this out he was not sympathetic.
On the positive side [name] said he was looking into the matter of the missing credit card details/ mystery member of staff who took our order as a matter of upmost urgency and would contact us when he had found out where they both were. I admire his attention to this point and look forward to hearing from him... we last spoke on the 25th of July so I assume his investigations are still on going.
When we hear from him, I will change the rating to 2* as the product is good and he had the decency to contact us back.
With point to the review by Karen Joyce, [name] may be working the company back up and I wish him all the best with that, but he is being let down by his staff.
This company is proberly the worst I have ever brought from, they say that they will sort out problems and as soon as the phone is put down they forget about you ( having all your money prior to delivery). Zutux forgot to put a lock on a draw then when I called about it they suggested that if my husband was handy it was easy enough for him to put it on , this was on a custom made walnut desk, I said no to this so he said he would call me in a few days to sort this out and yes you guessed a few weeks went by so I decided to call again this time I asked to speak to the MD , he said that this was not acceptable and said that he had a guy that worked in my area and he would get him to call and arrange to pick the desk draw up, we did get a phone message a few days later but we were out so I called him later that day and left him a message with my details and asked him to call again, that was the last contact and that was 4 weeks ago and not to mention they forgot to put the desk on the van and when it did come it had no holes in the back for the tower and a chip on the leg , I told the MD about this and he just said it should have been done, well it was not done, also they do not stick to delivery times.So people be very careful if you decide to buy from this Zutux Johnson company.
I ordered my budget piece of chip board book case on 17th of May. After a couple of days i checked the status of my order, nothing after a couple more days i checked again nothing!! I e mailed the reply was my hand made piece of chip board was going into production soon and i would receive e mails updating me on it's progess. After a couple of weeks nothing!! Eventually hurrah i received an e mail telling me my order was being cut then a few days later it was being painted. At last an e mail telling me that my order was on its way. The great day arrived and i waited and waited nothing this happened twice. After numerous calls i gave up the worst customer service ever. Zutux have the decency to admit it you are rubbish you even sent me an e mail saying i wasnt in when i was and a call saying it was everybodys fault but not yours.
Thanks zutux ,for my wonderful wardrobes. I had them made to measure to fit in my new bedroom, but one of the wardrobes was too big to go up the stairs. oops! so no problem they came back with another made to measure wardrobe that fitted a treat. Thank you. they are beautiful and so well made. I love them Thank you Thank you

Recently ordered their J&J Wolfe Maple Small Bookcase. They kept me informed throughout the manufacturing process and did not charge me until the item was ready for despatch. The item is of excellent quality, very solid and a joy to look at. I would definitely order from them again.
Recently purchased a Nelson Oak shoe cupboard. From start to finish this company bent over backwards! Excellent service with regular updates. We collected the cupboard from their showroom on a Sunday and are highly delighted with it. We would recommend them to anyone and are intending to purchase more items in the future.

Brilliant larder cupboard, best value I have come across. I would recommend anyone looking for a larder unit to look at Zutux. The delivery was superb, came on the day that I was told, everything followed up via email. Delivery men brilliant too, got on with the job putting the cupboard together and making sure I was happy and that the job was complete.
I wanted to order an oak bookcase and contacted Zutux as I wasnt sure of colour, the staff were very helpful and sent me samples. I then spoke to Neil Waude who answered all my queries and helped me complete my order. I was kept informed of the progress of the bookcase right up to delivery. It arrived at the time promised and I was delighted with the quality, just what I wanted, a good solid oak bookcase. There was a small problem, not down to them, but Neil sorted it out without any fuss, thank you Neil!! The quality of the furniture and the customer care from this company is excellent and I would recommend Zutux to all!
Having ordered a rather large bookcase it was well tracked by email and we were kept fully informed at every stage of manufacture. It duly arrived at the appointed hour however we had failed to consider our stairwell and exactly how it would be taken upstairs. The company took the bookcase away and carefully cut it in two such that it could be joined in situ and you would hardly see the join. It was duly delivered again and once put together is now a fine piece of furniture doing exactly what we want where we want. The customer care of the company was excellent and informative, not only that the solution came at the original price which to us was above and beyond so well done Zutux.
I have a very awkward space which I wanted a book case but didn't want to pay a fortune. Their salesman was very helpful, the price was great and the quality superb! Can't recommend highly enough - ignore the early reviews as this company was bought out and the new owners are doing all they can for their customers!
Lovely bookcases delivered very fast, the delivery drivers were excellent and the price was very good.
I wanted a one and a half bowl sink. Emailed and spoke to Zutux about my options. Very informative ended up with two separate sinks one large and one small. Saved a fortune compared with what I was going to get. Delivered next day. Would recommend to anyone.
I've used this company 3 times now, the furniture is excellent and the communication is very straightforward.The Nelson furniture is especially good, made in England, very difficult to find, I am very pleased to wait for bespoke items. There is nowhere else I know of where you can get furniture to fit an awkward space. Well done!!!

I bought a lovely little desk from Zutux at less than half the price of a similar one we were considering from John Lewis. The customer service was spot on and when our desk arrived we were blown away by the quality. Wonderful
I just recived 4 bookcases that i ordered 3 weeks ago, i was a bit nervous about ordering them over the internet 'sight unseen' but i have to say that they are superb, made to exactly the size i wanted and brilliantly put together in solid oak. Would have been 5 stars if they had delivered a bit quicker...
I bought 4 items in 2 orders. In all cases I had to call number of times to trace the order and the delivery. With the last order the goods got lost, I never received it and it took me 2 months and about 20 phone calls to get a refund.
It really is a shame because I was very pleased with the quality of the goods, when I received them, but it really is not worth the hassle.
I ordered at the beginning of July and payment was taken straight away. After 1 week I phoned to find out the status to be told there was a delay and it would be another 2 weeks. Fine - I could wait!. I waited my 2 weeks and hadn't heard anything so phoned back. Another delay........ After waiting again I was told once again there was a problem. I'd had enough - I asked for the order to be cancelled. It took another 4 weeks for me to get a refund after repeatedly chasing them for it. At no point in this whole process did Kitchkof ever contact me to keep me updated. I only got my refund after telling them I was at the point of reporting them for fraud to my credit card company as I believed they had no interntion of refunding me.
Good prices and the ordering process was good, but then I didn't hear anything and my sink wasn't delivered within the week as promised on the website. I rang and was told there was a delay with the supplier and so I waited. ...And waited. I rang again to be told there was more delay, so I waited again. After five weeks I emailed and was told it would be less than a week, but I rang after a week and no delivery date could be given, so I got a refund. It wasn't a painful experience, but they did have my money for 6 weeks and did waste my time trying to sell me a sink they obviously didn't have and couldn't get. They weren't proactive in keeping me informed of delays, so I can't recommend them to others.
I placed my order even though I was a little sceptical about what the quality of the sink and tap would be, as the prices were so cheap! But they arrived next day and completely allayed my initial worries. These are great products and great quality!! I'll definitely be coming back!
Despite confirming order, goods not in stock, so cancelled order. Kitchkof still debited credit card. Had to chase several times for refund - eventually processed, but took four weeks. Ordered same goods from ishoppe - email confirmations and arrived following day - perhaps Kitchkof should look at how ishoppe do things (and at the same price) to understand the sort of service that should be provided to customers
DONT USE THIS SITE! i also made an order here, the site stated the items WERE in stock and would be delivered in 4 days, 6 days later i emailed there customer service team and they said that the items were not in stock and that they wouldnt be for another 2 weeks, therefore bringing it right to the deadline of me needing the items, i sent an email asking if they would be delivered by the deadline date as the order was a present for a friend and i'd have no use for them if delivered after her birthday, with no response, another 12 days later im still waiting for a response and was horrified to see that they had taken 60 pounds out of my bank account on the day i placed the order without even having the items in stock (even though it said they were in stock) i doubt they will ever get back to me, nor send the order, or have the money refunded - from the other reviews ive read, i wish i'd seen these reviews first, i will research companies more thoroughly before using them from now on, a terrible experience
DO NOT USE THIS SITE. Money taken from my account immediately when I placed order. Excuses about snow and then no stock.The order never arrived and my emails are not answered now 3 months since they took the money and although I've now cancelled the order I still haven't had a refund. I don't understand how they can be rated on so many search sites - I found them on mydeco
I made a purchase with this site which indicated that as the goods were not in stock they would take 3-4wks to be dispatched.I was also notifyed that stock arrives every 2wks.This was 4 1/2 wks ago.
I was horrified to dicover that my credit card was debited 4wks ago when by law payment should not be taken until the goods have been dispatched.I rang kitchof today and was told they have a problem and could not tell me when I would receive my order.I am now waiting for my refund and will see if this happens as quickly as they took my money. Pay more but get your goods.
