I bought some Diesel from Esso in Macclesfield, and while filling my vehicle the fuel hose suddenly split and sprayed everywhere. It went all over the side of my vehicle and ruined a pair of gloves (tried washing them but they still reeked of diesel). The assistant in the kiosk was not very helpful and gave the impression he did not care. I tried to claim compensation for the wasted fuel, a new pair of gloves, and the time and money spent washing my vehicle and my gloves. I even sent a copy of the fuel receipt to customer services. I asked for £5, that's all. I was even prepared to accept a fuel voucher. I never got a penny. After a couple of e-mails they just ignored me. I'll never buy from Esso again.
put petrol in car, only £10, got to the cash desk to pay and put the wrong pin in - my card got declined! This was the only card I had with me at the time, I appologised and said that I would come back in 10mins with the cash, but I would need to go home and get it - Bellshill Esso advised that if I leaved without paying she would call the police! she said this was my only option! I couldnt go home and get money, - if I left, she would call the police, she couldnt even advice me what the police would do..? Well I advised that she wasnt giving me any options and it was just a mistake, something we hav all done! Anyway I returned 5mins later and paid in cash.. which I was told I couldnt do...? Honestly, Bellshill folk must hav missed the day at school when they taught peolpe good service - shocking!
