In my opinion, yodel are the worse courier service I have ever had the mis-fortune to deal with. My parcel from Tesco Direct was due to be delivered yesterday (15/11/13) between the hours of 9am and 9pm. I arranged to work from home to ensure somebody was there to sign for the package and did not leave the house. Needless to say, my parcel never arrived and when I checked the tracking service on yodels website this morning, to my amazement it stated that the driver had attempted delivery at 5.23pm and left a calling card before returning it to the depot at 7.23pm. This is an out right lie as I was in and I have not received a card through my letter box to say they had been. When I contacted there service centre this morning to query this 'failed delivery' the man I spoke to was rude, unapologetic and basically insinuated that I was lying! He advised that a 2nd attempt would be made today and that it could be anytime between 9-9pm; another day of waiting in without being able to leave the house. I asked to speak to a supervisor/manager to which his response was "there's no point... They'll tell you the same." He eventually provided a head office address in Hadfield where I can write to complain which I shall be doing. This company is unreliable and the customer service horrendous. I strongly urge anybody considering using this yodel or any company currently contracted to yodel as there service provider to seek an alternative delivery company as their incompetent service also reflects badly on the retailer. I certainly have no intention of dealing with them ever again and I am still awaiting delivery of my parcel.
I am very sorry to hear about your experience. I do understand that it is frustrating waiting in all day for a parcel to arrive. I can see that you have now received your item. If you ever need further help, please email us at email@example.com
