Whenever I use this company the service is outstanding, packages are never delayed, they always arrive promptly and in superb condition, the tracking service is excellent and the driver is always polite and friendly.
Overall a very pleasing experience, from a company whom i would recommend and use again and again..
I have to recommend our courier Yodel. They always arrive when they say they will and if for any reason we are last on the van, will apologise for the late time of the delivery even though they are still within their expected delivery time. I receive an sms an email each morning when my order is out for delivery. We have 3 people in the household who receive goods delivered by Yodel and not once have we had a problem.
The staff are courteous, honest and always with a smile on their face.
Talk Talk sent me a message saying they tried to deliver, yodel's website and the tracking number. I immediately went to the website, entered details and said I would pick it up the next day. When I got to the depot they told me it was out for delivery. The lady was very helpful and rang the driver to ask when he would be at my house (6pm was the answer). That was fine with me. However no sign. Ive just checked the tracking website again and its been returned to the centre without attempting delivery.
Thanks for wasting my time yodel.
I order a LOT of stuff from MyProtein.co.uk, who use Yodel to deliver.
Well, 'deliver' is maybe too grand a word for what Yodel do. I mean, they call themselves a delivery company, but I'm not so sure.
They've screwed up, in some unique and unfathomable way, EVERY order they've attempted to deliver over the last year. They've even been supposed to collect parcels from me, and have failed spectacularly at that, too.
If I ever need to send something, i'm not going to use Yodel. Honestly, it would be more effective and reliable to simply fire all your parcels up into the air with some kind of canon, and hope that a freak storm would blow them in the general direction of their intended recipients.
Hi had a 4 fuchsia trees delivered by Yodel today arrived on time this afternoon and package was safely and securely left in garage as I was not in. Card left to advise me where driver had put them. Very efficient would use Yodel again any time.
this is the first time we have used this service, and we can`t fault it .....
Absolutely shockingly incompetent. I was due a parcel and was at home all day. The tracking said it was out for delivery and so I waited. I checked again at 3pm and it said it had been delivered successfully when it hadn't been. There was no card or anything and my dog hadn't barked all day like he does when someone approaches the house. I spoke to a Yodel customer advisor who informed me that the driver had left the package in my shed. Except that my shed is padlocked shut so he obviously didn't. When I questioned this and asked for it to be resolved I was just told to complain to the sender. This has to be the worst delivery service company out there with lying drivers and unhelpful customer service. AVOID!
Once you can make contact via e-mail and speak to some one called Laura things started to get sorted out quickly.
The parcel came a day early and I was working so couldn't sign for it.
Tried ringing the helpline but wasn't getting anywhere.
Found an e-mail address and that's when Laura helped all she could and even tried to get the parcel sent straight back out.
Very pleased with the service Laura gave
I would recommend yodel parcel delivery because there charges are very competitive , I always know were my parcel is via the tracking system and there drivers are always helpful and polite
Today I received an email which said ' We are pleased to confirm that your order from ISME has been delivered and left in a safe place. Details of this location will be on a card posted to your address by our driver. Here is your tracking number JD0002216022771590 you can track your parcel by visiting www.myyodel.co.uk'
There is no parcel anywhere, no card and in fact no driver came anywhere near my house today. I was at home all day and my dogs bark as soon as anyone comes near the house. So either the driver is a liar or he was at someone else's house which is difficult to understand since there is a very clear sign at the end of the drive and another on the inner gate.
I used the 'on line chat' and was subjected to such rudeness and unhelpfulness it was disgraceful.
I have contacted my supplier who will be looking into the whereabouts of my parcel but people should be aware of the incompetence, rudeness and unhelpfulness of the employees of this company.
Parcel arrived in good time beautifully packed, and most impressive, the driver was incredibly polite and very helpful. It was a pleasure to do business with Yodel. Definitely one of the best companies i have brought from.
Many thanks and keep up the good work.
This is the second time I've had a delivery from Yodel and I must say, I'm completely satisfied with them. The drivers are well mannered, considerate, helpful and very friendly. They deliver on time and usually within 24 hours. I would highly recommend Yodel to all.
I would also like to point out that I had regular SMS and emails to inform me my parcel was a) on it's way and b) been delivered. You don't get that with any other company, as far as I know. Well done Yodel.
Not very happy, being self employed and offering home delivery to customers I did rely on the information given to me by the tracking system. As their was no information given yesterday I figured the parcel was not coming today and it would be okay for me to leave and do my delivers. Just to be on the safe side thought I did leave a note on the door asking to leave parcel round back, just like I have done on the previous to occasions (it does say on the calling card you will do this).
I have just now being told by someone on your team (as I was typing this review) that only 2 delivery attempts were made, sadly after those 2 deliver attempts the parcel was damaged so the sender had to send out another one. So yodel receive the new parcel and instead on delivering it they just send it back.

got a phone and tv delivered phone was fine but tv got here box was damaged and so was my new tv. then i had to have them pick it back up from me. which they did but no the tv has gone missing and getting no answers from yodel and the company i got tv from are awaiting info on where my broken tv has gone before the issue me a new one!!!!!!!! im out of pocket and have had 4days of wasted time!!!!!! they seem to only employ thieves as happened to me before with them!!!!!! one very unhappy person
Ok so this is the second time I've had a bad experience with Yodel. The first time was the worst. I had been told my day and time of delivery for my iPhone to be delivered so I decided to just stay in the whole day and listen out for the knock on the door. In the end there was no knock, only 4 hours later from my (honest) neighbour asking me if this parcel left by her WHEELIE BIN was mine. Firstly they had put the wrong house number on the slip of paper and through their letter box (although it stated on the parcel the correct number) Second - They did not even knock on my door in the first place. Third - Who leaves a parcel by a BIN!? My neighbours could have kept that £230 parcel if they wanted, as I had no idea this had been left at theirs. I then had no response to my complaint. Today I received my next day parcel from Missguided. When I received a text learning it was being delivered from Yodel, I prepared for the worst. They decided to not knock on my door again, and instead left a slip saying "left in a safe place" which happened to be my porch, which is open for any member of the public to approach. THAT IS NOT SAFE. Whenever I have mentioned YODEL to anyone else, they have also had nothing but negative things to say about them. They never seem to bother knocking on customers doors and leaving parcels in ridiculous places. LAZY STAFF, POOR SERVICE, RUBBISH COMPANY
Really disapointed that after buying a seventy pound pair of biker trousers on ebay. Yodel failed to deliver them to my house and even follow up what had happend to them. They had a signature, but what does that even mean when we never got anything? I'd like to see the proof and who signed for it and where they were delivered! We are a low income family. I won't afford to buy another pair. I won't be using yodel again.

Having rung on Friday about a parcel due for delivery and waiting in all day for it, I was informed that I would get the parcel on Monday. I have just had another delivery from Yodel (from the same company) and the driver told us that there wasn't going to be another delivery today. i rung them up and was told they had return it to carphone warehouse, and I needed to contact them. This is not my first problem with Yodel, they should actually be investigated by the trade description as next day delivery often means next week or when I can be bothered!
been waiting for delivery since friday after it was received into aberdeen depot on thursday afternoon, packing got damaging and i contacted sports direct, authorised the delivery, this was friday when packaged shoud have been deivered. come saturday nothing so called again, told it was a mistake and be sent on monday for delivery. guess what still nothing now told it should hopefully be here tuesday but cant guarantee delivery yet again, think the company needs investigated as it a shambles, also customer service is poor when you try to explain everything you get told that you are wrong and then they deny you have asked to find out and chase up delivery, even sports direct is unimpressed by this as they was told it definetly be out for deivery on monday the 10th june
I was under the impression from the parcel sender that the parcel I was waiting for wouldn't be delivered until the Tuesday, however Yodel had it down for delivery on the Monday. Because of the original delivery date I had made an unbreakable arrangement, I went onto the chat window to see if anything could be done and spoke with Brian. He did everything he could to try and get the parcel delivered either in the time windows I said I'd be in or get it signed for by a neighbor, even sending a message to the depot while we were chatting, he explained there would be no guarantee, but the issue here is, he tried. So many would have said sorry and not bothered. This is what customer service is about... Politeness, Professionalism and respect..... Well done Brian
It said on the website 3 - 5 workings days for the parcel to come and it came within 3 days! Very impressed, I was kept updated, and it was great service! I ordered two parcels, on two different days and got them on the same day! GREAT SERVICE! I definitely recommend!
I have had problems in the past with Yodel and Virgin Media, a router left in the rain a week after it was due, and having to ring the drivers home telephone number (very professional for them to give that out) to rearrange him dropping it off in a minicab...
This time when ordering from Asda Direct, the moment I saw the courier was Yodel I knew I wasn't going to get my next day delivery. And guess what, they proved me right!
How can a delivery company that does not deliver even exist? A business cant exist if it cannot carry out its core function?
My tracking number also gives me some random person in Essex's address and details of a delivery over a year ago. Now how is that even possible, the tracking number is 13 characters long, they couldn't of run out of numbers already now could they? Yodel blamed the supplier, but loan behold after actually speaking to Yodel the guy in Essex has had his package "undelivered" from last year and it's now on its way to me...
3 days later and i'm still waiting, if it comes today I think the gods may be on my side. And what are the bets that the 5 star reviews here are employees?
We ordered a bouncy castle and helium balloons from ASDA direct for our daughter's birthday party. It was ordered on Wednesday and we paid extra for a timed delivery before 1pm on Saturday, so that we had the goods in time for the birthday party on Saturday afternoon.
We tracked the parcel mid-morning on Saturday - rather cryptic codes etc, but we managed to work out that it was showing that the parcel was still at the Vauxhall service centre. I therefore wasted a lot of time on the phone and internet trying to get through to Yodel, but they ignored all attempts to contact them.
At 1pm the parcel still hadn't arrived so I called ASDA Direct. They said they would call Yodel for me and call me back. It apparently took them half a hour to get through to Yodel, and when they did they were told that the parcel had been "held at the customer's request". Complete nonsense: why would I hold the parcel as it was for the birthday party that afternoon? And besides, I would have no idea how to do such a thing even if I wanted to, as their online tracking system provides no such option, and it's impossible to speak to them by phone. The only common sense conclusion is that they forgot to put it on the van, and instead of apologising or offering to let me pick it up from the service centre, they make up a lie to try and cover themselves. Pathetic.
One very disappointed 2-year old, and an exasperated father. If they were just incompetent that would be one thing, but I am not going to do business with a bunch of liars.
(ASDA Direct were obviously stupid to have chosen Yodel as a supplier, but they did at least have the courtesy to apologise and give me a full refund. And credit to the nice lady at the ASDA Direct call centre who helped calm me down!)
My previous recent experiences of Yodel have been just as bad: in one case they claimed that they had left a card when they had not left any card (and the parcel then turned up late eventually). In another case, they claimed they had left it in the porch. Odd because we don't have a porch!! In fact, they had left it with a neighbour, and had not put a card through to tell us where to find it. Again, it's the lying that shocks me.
As an aside: I have no idea what the other reviews are talking about when they say they got texts or emails from Yodel telling them what was happening - we got nothing. In fact, I think it's quite likely that the 5-star reviews on here are fabricated by the Yodel themselves. They seem very ready to lie to their customers and to the people they deliver to, so I expect they are lying here and fabricating reviews.
I'm a busy person and don't really have time to shop around. But I will definitely from now on always check before ordering online whether Yodel will be delivering. And if so, I will buy elsewhere!
Today I received a text message from Yodel "Hi there, sorry we missed you and couldn't deliver your Ebuyer parcel. We will try again tomorrow". It is a big lie, in the house were three people all day. No one is knocking or ringing the door. Courier probably could not find the address or not he wanted to come. How can try tomorrow when it will be Sunday?...The website wrote that:"" Your parcel is currently expected to be delivered by: Tuesday, 11th June 2013"" ..... Today is Saturday 8th.... Really poor service and disregard.
We initially missed the first delivery, but rang customer services to arrange for next day delivery. The lady we spoke with was very professional and helpful, when after explaining the parcel was a birthday present, she ensured we received prior to the party, even though it was a Saturday. Very pleased and extremely impressed - 5 star rating.
Ordered a gas BBQ on friday eve and it was delivered first thing on the saturday morning.Basically it is the fastest delivery I have ever encountered whilst shopping online. The driver was pleasant and packaging undamaged. Thank You Yodel for a fantastic efficient delivery service.
I have received 2 or 3 parcels via yodel and they have never let me down. Polite, happy delivery drivers, who don't mind climbing up the stairs to get to our apartment. The tracker service is always up to date and I always know when I can expect my parcel. Can't believe all the negative reviews! I must be very lucky.
