fast, reliable service

Have had a few items delivered through this service now and never a problem, always faster than expected and the parcel tracking service is brilliant! Would reccommend to friends and business colleuges.

Fantastic service!

Ordered from Littlewood's yesterday, honestly didn't expect to receive my package today. Yodel accurately kept me up-to-date about where my package was through email. The guy who delivered was friendly and helpful. The package was in immaculate condition and clean. Would definitely use this service again.

Superfast delivery with no problems

Cant fault my latest delivery from Yodel.The driver even knows that if he do not get an answer he can leave it with my next door neighbour who will sign for me.Well recommended!!

Very friendly driver who went the extra mile, literally, to deliver me my parcel.

I was very impressed with the friendly and polite manner of the driver. He went to the extra trouble of asking for directions and not giving up on finding my hard to find house. I will definitely be using this service in the future.

Unorganised.

Parcel should have been delivered last Friday. I knew I wouldn't be home between 9 and 10am, so left instructions to leave the parcel behind the drive gates (as I've done before without issue). What I ordered I needed for a meeting the following Monday.
I returned at 10am to find the calling card, but no parcel. So I called Yodel, who confirmed they would re-attempt delivery on Saturday. I explained again that I would not be home until 10am, so dont try before then. "No problem, I'll make sure of that for you".

Saturday morning, I return a find another delivery card, delivery attempted at 9:25. So, I called again and couldn't get through to anyone, so I called the retailer who in turn then managed to reach someone at Yodel. He provided my number to them and they were going to either get the parcel redelivered on the Saturday (if they could reach the driver) or by 8:15am on the Monday (when I was leaving for this meeting). He explained they would call and let me know. I heard nothing.

No redelivery on the Saturday, and no sign of them on the Monday - I had to postpone the meeting, much to my clients frustration, until this coming Friday.

As I would be working at another clients address Tues->Thurs, I called (on Tuesday) and asked Yodel to change the delivery address. This was done, and I was told the parcel would get delivered either Wed. or Thurs, but to check the tracking on Wed. to see if it's out for delivery.

It's now the Thursday, still no package and still not showing as out for delivery today. I have called the customer services twice, both times they have said they cant get hold of the depot to check and have sent emails to them instead.

Nothing confirmed, no call backs, sitting playing the waiting game. If I have to cancel this meeting tomorrow, I stand to lose £60k, all through their apparent incompetence.

Can't talk to a human being?!

So I've brought a lovely dress for my hen do this weekend. Where is it? It's gone back to the centre as driver 'couldn't gain access'?! To what?! There is a gate that you open and go to the front door?! There is a driveway where you can actually drive onto and THEN walk down to the front door?! Not only that...I WAS IN! No card has been left, Yodel phone number is automated and when my tracking ID wasn't accepted-the AUTOMATED WOMAN HUNG UP ON ME!!! So right now - pretty peeved as I have no way to rebook delivery and I'm not sure I even trust them to do so. Customer service is seriously lacking.
Just to update - I emailed Dani who was very helpful in getting directions/messages to depot and driver. Also - I found the direct line for my depot by searching via a search engine and was able to find out what was happening and they were also able to speak to the driver. Don't lose hope, I was pretty angry due to the automated (rubbish!) customer service but once I actually spoke to a human then all got sorted. I may use them again in the future, but I'll make sure I have brought it with plenty of time to spare!

They don't know the concept of knocking

What did I have to do? Stand by the door for 6 hours and not move? I wasted a whole morning staying at home for my parcel (because they wouldn't tell me exactly when they were arriving with it) and they still managed to miss me.

I'm actually trying to understand the drivers' line of thought here. He arrives at my door step, writes a redelivery card with all of the details properly, posts said card to me and walks away with my parcel. Only to have to do the same thing the very next day (and I guess I'll have to keep vigil by the window tomorrow If I'm ever to see my parcel).

The other option would be: he raises his good arm, closes his fist on said good arm, makes a forward motion with it and hits the door a couple of times in order to make noises. A concept known by the whole of the civilised world as 'knocking'. Perhaps the driver didn't know such concept, we shall never know. It certainly impairs his job as a delivery man. But not all is lost. I assume he knows how to drive, which is a task infinitely more complex than knocking; so he could master knocking in no time at all with practice!

On the other hand, I'm happy that that was my bad experience with Yodel. Reading the other reviews and seeing that they lose parcels and dump them lying around in the rain, I guess I should count myself as lucky.

There's also another Trust Pilot website dedicated to Yodel (which gathers an abysmal 1.8 rate) so I'm reposting this from there and losing one of the stars. Because, frankly, this looks pretty dodgy.

When in doubt try Yodel out.

Its always yodel that delivers my items, they are fast and reliable. The courier has always got something nice to say. I have recommended to friends and family.

Absolutely b***y useless

Last three deliveries by Yodel were screwed up. Latest one had conflicting messages about delivery / left with neighbour. No card left. No idea what neighbor they've used as the name is unknown to me. Refused point blank to give me their business address so can't issue a Small Claims Court request for my time. Can only use online 'Chat' system. No company information given. Avoid these muppets at ALL costs! They've only got one star as zero stars isn't accepted!

Absolutely amazed with the service provided.

My delivery arrived approximately 24 hours after placing my order, totally unexpected and even more appreciated... I wanted my product ASAP and was happy with estimated 4 to 8 day delivery time. Imagine my surprise and pleasure in receiving an email and a text message informing me my delivery would be by 9pm the day after ordering... Normally when given a "by 9pm" delivery time it turns up at 9 or just after, it arrived by 2pm and was extremely happy when greeted by a smiling face and a pristine package at my front door... I can't recommend yodel highly enough. Everyone should use it. Anyway, I'll cut this short as have a piece of furniture to build. :-)

Speedy and prompt

This is the second time I have received a delivery from Yodel, and the second time I ha ve been pleased with the speed of delivery, and the courteous and polite person who did the delivery. A credit to the company.

Satisfied Customer! :)

I did come here to check some of the other reviews out which didn't seem to pleasant so was a little worried at first. My partner ordered my product on Sunday evening for next day delivery and i have just received the item which is understandable....wanted them for my holiday and they didn't fail to show up! Many thanks for your service and i will most likely rely on you in the nearby future!

Totally unreliable - overpromise and underdeliver!

Took 1.5 days off work waiting for these muppets. First delivery due last Friday - second due this morning by 12pm. Do you honestly think I have nothing better to do while you faff about. You're a total bunch of jokers, have no clue and the sooner you go bust the better! You have cost me £450 - now write me a cheque.

Service above and beyond

I ordered this item on Saturday afternoon and it was delivered at lunchtime today Wednesday 9/4/2014 absolutely great service from Yodel in fact their delivery driver actualy delivered another parcel about a month ago on a sunday as we missed her on the Saturday now that to me is service above and beyond 10/10 Yodel.

Fast, efficient and delivers with the customer's convenience foremost.

I was extremely pleased with how the company kept me fully and easily (by email) informed about my parcel throughout the delivery process. I could not b in of the delivery and so I phoned a contact number and asked for the package to be left in a shed at the side of the building. I have asked this of other companies who were unwilling to help.
Yodel delivered the parcel as asked and I was informed the delivery had been completed very quickly after. So impressed with their whole approach to customer service!
