Zapper tends to be quite fussy in the product they take, however this is offset by usually a better price. First time I used them was tainted by painfully slow payment. The redeeming feature was the customer service element, whereby all emails were personally answered quickly - and the payment eventually came. Decided to use a second time, to find everything vastly improved to quick and efficient status. Conclusion - well worth a try.
I sent a box of items in excellent condition but 2 items were 'rejected' as being 'damaged' (no reason given) and I will never see them again and won't get paid. Both were hardback biographies I'd never even read!
If I was into conspiracy theories I'd suggest that some companies might 'factor in' to their business plan the refusal of certain items, on purpose to bulk up profits but I have no evidence to suggest Zapper do this in any way.
Please note: If anyone is thinking "maybe they were in poor condition, he is just wrong", believe me - for the sake of a few pence, I have no reason to waste my time sending a box of items that I know will get refused. We are talking the cost of half a cheese sandwich. In fact, it cost me more in time to prepare the box and take to post office than the money I get back.

My transaction with Zapper was reliable, fast and efficient. Only disappointment was that they couldn't accept all my books.
I have used you twice and both times have been successful, the second time I had a slight problem with no cheque turning up, and I contacted the help team and they solved the problem in minutes, would advise to use! Excellent!
I was in a hurry to get rid of my books, CDs, videos that I had gathered over many years as I was emigrating. Zapper was the ideal service even though I got less money than at a car boot sale it still meant that my items would be cherished by someone else and not in land fill! I was most impressed by the company's response when I said I was on a deadline and I got the cheques fairly quickly after that! Thank you Zapper you were a help- a great help! Wish I'd thought of the idea. Xxx
Zapper is easy: type in your barcode/ISBN numbers & see what they will pay, then when you have finished your list, print off the postage label, package up your books, stick on the label & take the box to the Post Office (unless it's a huge package in which case they will send a courier for it!). Get a proof of postage receipt just in case, then wait for an email telling you a cheque will soon be in the post. i have used Zapper twice now and wish I had heard of them earlier. Highly recommended by me!
The whole transaction was ok. But some bad points is that the price quote on this Site were really cheap and the process just took for too long from receiving the packet, checking it and sending the payment.

The whole process couldn't have been easier or quicker to manage. Having sat looking at all my old videos and DVDs for months, it was wonderful to find a simple and straightforward way to recycle them and receive a welcome cheque in return. Thank you Zapper.
