It was easy to dispatch the DVDs, the price you get is low but where they offer more than pence it's probably better to eBay those particular items. However settlement is slow around a month to receive my cheque after dispatching the items.
If you want your space back, then choose zapper. Cleared out the books I no longer read, and made over £100. Zapper is both user friendly and quick. They also kept me informed throughout the selling process. I have no regrets about using this company, and the check followed shortly, the full amount with nothing taken off. And in this day and age that's pretty good!
I was very satisfied with the service. I particularly appreciated the way Zapper kept me updated on the progress of the sale, and informing me that my goods had been approved and the timescale in which I could expect to receive the cheque.
Turn your unplayed CDs, DVDs, books etc into cash. We had loads one that just took up space in the cupboard. The Zapper website is so easy to use and tells you instantly how much each cd is worth so you can decide if you want to sell it or not. Done of the prices were quite surprising! After completing all the items minimum £10 downloaded a free post label and sent them off. Email sent to confirm receipt and acceptance and received the cheque a couple of weeks later. I think there is also an app so you can scan the codes in but I have not used that
This experience was simple. Just enter ISBN number, select, pack, deliver to local collection point (within 2 miles of my home) and wait. Efficient service with email messages every step of the way. Cheque arrived as promised and I am very happy with service. Highly recommended
I used to Zapper to get rid of a load of videogames books and DVDs when I was moving house, scanning in items with the app was a breeze and taking the boxes to my nearest Parcel+ collection point was no problem. The only criticism I would have is being paid for your items by cheque instead of by bank transfer takes longer than I would have liked, but otherwise a fantastic service I would happily recommend to anyone.
I love Zapper. It's very easy to use and a great way to get rid of all the old books, cd's & and DVD's that you don't want anymore. However the only thing that lets them down is the length of time that it takes them to send the cheque.
I've used them 3 times now and each time the cheque has taken a lot longer than the "14 days" that they say to allow once they confirm that the goods have been checked and accepted. If payment was by BACS or just a lot quicker then they would have earned 5 stars!
I was dubious about sending so many CDs having heard bad reviews of similar companies. Zapper are fast to confirm receipt of parcels, keep me updated when items have been inspected and cheques received within 2 weeks. The ease of sending parcels via Collect+ is also a bonus and free! Really pleased and will continue to use Zapper. Thank you.
I stumbled across Zapper whilst searching online. I signed up and began to scan some books and cds that I had for years but didn't use. It was a bit addictive seeing how much things were worth. It was also amazing to be able to bundle them all up and take as freepost to the local shop down the road. The email confirmed the value and the cheque winged its way to me.
All in all it was a simple process and worth the time and I would recommend it to my family and friends.
I found the site easy to use. There are a number of bar codes it does not recognise however particularly for older CD's. The description on some items does not match the bar code entered. Sending is easy with Collect+. Once confirmed as received and checked in for payment; there is a delay in issuing cheques more than the 14 days suggested. On the whole it does what it sets out to achieve.
I used zapper as a quick way to make some money fast. however even though it took exactly three days for my parcel to be received and sorted, and i was sent an email saying my check was in the post, it wasnt. i waited the two weeks it said too then contacted them, they said their cheque printer had broken, so then why was i already emailed to say it was in the post? after another 2 week wait my cheque arrived. after all the hassle emailing them, i feel it was a poor service which isnt recuperated in the price paid.
Sent a box of good quality cd's to Zapper. Was a little hesitant as hadn't really heard of them before & after reading their terms & conditions was worried they may try to 'do me out of money'. Didn't need to worry though, got a confirmation of the quoted amount a few days after they received my box & was kept thoroughly informed at each step of the payment process. Paid my cheque in the bank this week!!
