warranty? Only after weeks of emails and photos!
Friends, I like the Designs of Hudson Reed. However I would caution you about the warranty process. Especially if you need your fixture replaced within a few weeks. The process is slow, you feel as though your not getting through to anyone that understands the product. I had to send photos of every single angle of the product and explain the problem as though I was writting a patent.
Obsurd, I will not consider them on the next home build. Stay local

I am sorry that you are unhappy with the time taken to make a claim under your warranty. I can however see that you have started two separate conversations with us to resolve this issue which has ultimately added to the time taken to resolve the issue.
We aim to resolve any warranty issue in a timely manner however it is company policy to see photographs highlighting the problem before we can authorize sending out replacement parts, I am sure you understand and appreciate the reasoning behind this.
The reason we asked you for an explanation regarding the problem is so that we can assess the situation and offer you the best advice possible in order to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
I am glad to see the issue has now been resolved.

Why don't they know?
I ordered two items, a shower body and a 'telephone' shower head. Somehow, the order showed up without a way to connect the mixed water from the valve to the showerhead! The fitting for US 1/2 inch copper tube was not included. They included two sets of fitting for the incoming water...US and Brit...which I don't understand...but nothing for the output. So I wrote them and they wrote back saying they didn't understand. I wrote Rachel back and sent a picture. THAT was understood. Incredibly, they're sending the part from England! They don't seem to have it here and there is no place to just buy one. Also, I thought that the price of the shower head was high considering that it is plastic. Finally, they recommend water stops. The spacing of the output piping was such that you can't install them under the trim if you want them to both be in the same area. The spacing is about a quarter inch too small...fine for Brit, not for US. I made it work but I wonder what they were thinking.

Item received in timely manner and content was as described. I think hour company should make it clear for US buyers that your processing is done overseas and merchant will charge fees for processing.

We are disappointed to learn that you have been charged by your bank for this purcashe transaction. We can assure you that they are not merchant fees that you have been invoiced.
Hudson Reed do not charge any additional fees on top of those indicated on the website. The majority of our goods are sent from our warehouse facility in the US and the few items that are shipped from the UK should not incur any charges either.
It seems that some US banks do choose to charge their customers a foreign transaction fee, and this is certainly not the case with all banks, We will be happy to refund you if you can please let us have the bill.

Great rebound
After initially fumbling with the ball(order) all parts were delivered as promised and inside the timeframe we required them,
Some of the same parts ordered came in a different model, and no proper BSP to NPT fittings were provide with the bodysprays that had a BSP male thread, hard to get fittings for in North America, had to go to specialty hydraulics place to find the 1/2 BSP femele- 1/2 NPT male adaptor.

Of course all items are factory fitted or re-worked to 1/2" NPT for ease of installation and we are happy to supply the relevant adapters in the few instances when they are missing.

Phenomenal product at superior prices
I recently purchased plumbing products for an entire house that I am building. Faucets for every bathroom and kitchen. Themostatic valves. Large oversized rainshower heads. You get the idea!
I'm rather picky when it comes to fixtures and the quality offered. I purchased these products from Hudson Reed at the recommendation of my builder and I have to say I am over the moon thrilled. I have no idea how Hudson Reed is able to sell at the low rates provided, as the quality is the best I've seen.
For purchases over $100 they offer no charge shipping and given much of this product came from the UK (some from NYC), that made the finances behind the transaction that much more appreciated. Delivery was incredibly fast. I ordered my product on a Monday and had everything in my hands within 72hrs.
I'd recommend Hudson Reed to anyone and will definitely be using them again.

Be aware these are from England. Very fast shipping
Unfortunately I purchased from Hudson Reed without realizing my shower would be coming from the UK, ( I am in Florida, US) and would need adapters. But I did and in general, te quality of the shower has been excellent except both the thermal valve and the shut off valve have had to be replaced in 7-8 years (I don't know if this is normal time or not). Because of the special parts I have to order replacements from Hudson Reed and have them shipped from the UK. They are pricey to replace. The parts have been quality replacements and have shipped very quickly -- but it is still a bit odd realizing I can't go to my local Hardware store to get parts.

Different and unsual use for a hi tech piece of modern art,,,Attention marine industry..
I am adapting a Hudson Reed shower seat to operate in the marine environment .
For two year i have been surching in marine stores for a helm seat for the cockput for my 26 foot sail boat. I was blown away when i stumbled upon the H/R web sight and the selection of shower seats .With some minor adjustments i will install it and be ready for the 2013 sailing season .

Great product ...great service!
We recently refurbished our guest bathroom which is fairly small and I was looking for a sleek but beautiful rain shower system.I found it in the Tiamo Designer Thermostatic Shower Faucet system with Overhead Shower and handset. This is a beautifully crafted piece and looks fabulous in my modern shower stall.

What a joke this company is, Monty Python runs customer service and shipping.
I had previously ordered 2 shower towers (2 years ago and 6 months ago) from H/R with no issue. We are renovating a condominum we recently bought in Florida and ordered 2 units to be shipped to the contractor onsite in Florida. The package arrived and H/R shipped the wrong unit, so they screwed up half of the order. We had scheduled a plumber to hook both of these up so that had to be rescheduled and we were charged a rescheduling charge. When I went to customer service online, they wanted a complete description of what they had shipped. Luckily the contractor had taken a picture of the 2 units and then H/R agreed to ship out a replacement. I had now spent almost 2 hours online. When the replacement order arrived via email, I noticed that they were shipping the replacement to our address in New Jersey and I immediately contacted "Sadie" back at customer service who assured me, twice, that this is the way it had to be entered, but they were absolutely shipping the replacement to Florida. 4 days later, the replacement arrived at our New Jersey address. Sadie again promised to get back with a forwarding label and information about shipping. It has now been 4 days and I have heard nothing from H/R. On my own and at my expense, I have shipped the replacement to our contractor in Florida (having opened the package to make sure A: it was the right unit, and B: all the parts were there. I've now sent another email requesting a refund of my shipping charges and some offset for the massive screw-ups. Bottom line, if you have all the time in the world and don't mind sending things back, several times, then order from Hudson Reed, otherwise beware. I've recommended them to several folks, but now must go back and warn them. For this renovation, we have ordered a lot of items online --another company omitted part of their order but when I contacted them, I got a courteous reply after an apology and the missing faucet was sent overnight, again with their apology.
January 28. H/R sent yet another shower tower to the address in Florida, with no prior notice to me. I continue to get apologies and insistence that they are doing everything in their power and referring the matter to their managers. Meanwhile, I now have 2 shower towers, the original wrong one and one extra one. I was promised that someone would contact me about pick up instructions prior to today...guess what, no email or phone calls. It seems my only option is to have the contractor put the stuff on the curb and be done with it. I cannot believe the supreme incompetence.

Our shower system arrived and had a small amount of damage, but I called and Hudson Reed was extremely responsive, they shipped another immediately and told me they will arrange for a pickup at my home of the one damaged in shipping. So far so good.

Love my new shower room!!
My unit has only been installed for 2 weeks, but I loved it the moment I stepped into my new shower room. The water pressure is fantastic and both the rain shower and handheld are better than expected. I may be in jeopardy of wasting water, as I never want to end my shower now!
The only negative are the jets, they do not offer enough openings for water to flow and the openings that are there are too small (think pin size openings). Even though the power of the existing openings are fantastic; I would have preferred larger openings and more of them. Maybe they will improve in the next version of this unit.
Installation was quite easy for my Plumber and only one small part was missing from the box, which he had on his truck. The online installation instructions are a must, as the instructions shipped with the unit were too generic and not for my specific model.
Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend buying from Hudson Reed. For the money, you cannot get a better unit, even my Plumber and General Contractor could not believe it was so inexpensive for how well made the unit was and how nicely it works.

sparkling shower system at great price
shipping was very fast product arrived in a few davs 99% quality less 1 plastic connector for hand held.instructions are useless we improvised on much of installation dont try to install with provided hardware heres my advise adapter ells and adapter tees to loop body heads those nice cast brass ones with tabs on back to secure to frame same goes for rain head dont waste time trying to figure out the silly things included just install adapter ell at proper depth in ceiling if you aint real handy get a good plumber i know its an oxymoron but ill say it again a good plumber
