superb !

Having previously purchased from Myson USA I can confidently say Hudson Reed provided a better price, superior product and shipping speed.

Could use US-based customer service!

Shipping was very fast!
One of the components of the shower combo (valve body) was defective and I needed to contact customer service for a replacement. This is when things got really cumbersome. The chat function on their site is so slow and not very helpful. The same goes for their e-mail. I was able to get someone on the phone in the UK who finally was able to help.Or so I thought. First the wrong replacement part was about to be sent. Luckily I happened to catch the mistake ( checking my e-mail) before it went out. Another call to the UK (5 hrs.time difference,mind you) followed and FINALLY the proper part was on its way...
The quality of the shower head is very good,the hand held shower looks good however it is really cheap plastic.

An incredible value! You will not be disappointed.

I used Hudson Reed a few years ago on a bathroom remodel and was very impressed with the pricing when I ordered. But when the products arrived I was even more impressed! The quality of the plating, just the weight of the products, is really incredible. Someone mentioned that you might have to get a plumber who is a little more progressive and open to using other products. My plumber didn't seem to like anything that wasn't Delta, Moen, etc. But who cares. Fast forward to now and we just moved and did a complete kitchen remodel and it's very contemporary. I was looking for sprayer type faucets and have to admit that I didn't look at HR first (a complete oversight on my part!!) I was looking at the big box stores and everything is plastic and was almost 300$. I remembered HR and ordered a sprayer. It came super fast and when it arrived I was reminded all over again of why I love Hudson Reed. The chrome plating was incredible, even came wrapped in its own cloth sock to protect it. The quality was fantastic, the sprayer is heavy and has an industrial feel to it. You will NEVER find this type of quality at Home Depot, etc. Oh and did I mention that it was HALF the price of the Chinese junk at the big box stores?! The plumber I used this time was so impressed he wants to order one for his wife. Bottom line. Awesome service, awesome products and awesome pricing.

My experience with this company was just what you would hope. No problems

Product appears to be excellent quality, just as described on website

Completely clueless customer service

I ordered a bathtub valve and a shower valve set at the end of November. One of the valves was sent with the wrong adapter. I sent photographs and a detailed explanation of the problem to Hudson Reed. After consultation with their "engineers" they sent the wrong replacement adapter. After several e-mails and more consultation with their "engineers" they insisted that I have everything I need. After more e-mails stating that I emphatically DO NOT have what I need, they told me, as a good will gesture, they would send another adapter. The second replacement adapter arrived, and it too is the wrong one. I will have to pay extra to get my plumber back to finish up, if I ever get the right part. I have also lost my place with the tile setter, as he can't wait and had to go on to another job. I don't know when I will be able to get back on his schedule. Customer service at Hudson Reed seems to be clueless about their own products.

As discussed with yourself previously we have asked that a valve be dismantled in order to send you the valve that you are missing and a further adapter to be sure that you have all for the fitting.

Our technicians have developed these products which we have been selling in the UK for 30 years. They have been adapted to fit NPT for the North American market and have been selling this type of adaptable valve in it's hundreds per month for the last 5 years and if there were major problems with it we would certainly be aware of this.

We are extremely sorry that you are disappointed with our replies as we have done everything in our power to help you with this issue.

I like the product. Poor customer service.

I can't say anything bad about the product or its quality and i've purchased few items from HR already. I wish the product itself would go along with customer service & support. The fact there is no number to call here in the US after having your market expended to North America is a bizzare bussines decision. No person i know is willing to call abroad and incur long distance charges to have a chat with customer service rep. The online chat service on their website is slow and it feels like the operator is talking to 10 other people at the same time. I took me 30 min. to get my point acorss with the chat operator resulting in being asked to call the customer service. It's a pitty becasue they could compete with big guys like Kohler and American Standard but not without proper customer support. I hope and wish they will improve.

So pleased. So painless.

Rarely can I say I've bought a product where I was totally pleased. Shopping at Hudson Reed was the exception! Not only did I buy a radiator that was sleek and stylish, something that can't be found in the States, the shipping is free. Any questions i had were answered online at Hudson Reed's website. I live in Illinois and I had the radiator within 2 days from the time I placed my order. So pleased! So painless!

Hudson Reed delivers fast and trouble free!

Hudson Reed had the floor mounted faucet we wanted for our antique clawfoot bathtub. This Tec Elilte UFG-TRUPN322 came with a thermostatically controlled output. I sure home it works well and not like the one reviewer on Amazon.com says it doesn't! Excellent outward appearance, solid, undamaged, packaged, etc. Everything's roses so far!

Can't be beat

I was unsure about whether to buy without seeing the radiator first, but it was the right thing. We have had bad experiences with UK workmanship in the past but these radiators are excellent. We are going to go back to Hudson Reed for our faucets now as thier customer service and buying experience are excellent.

A bit hard to contact you guys via phone due to time difference and that fact that we have to wait for a response much longer than normal for your emails. I also noticed that my emails were not read too well and more than one person was responding without knowing what I had requested. I suggest you have just one person handle each order or cancellation or have the emails available for all the staff like Amazon.
The product however is fab, very high end and I appreciate the refund after all the confusion. I also liked how it got shipped so fast! I will most definately refer you to my friends.

excellent service but product barely acceptable; good product; poor quality control.

The product is excellently designed but poorly executed; big gouge/spur in metal housing, unacceptable gap in housing. Total absence of installation manual/direction/hint etc particularly when product was poorly assembled. One part came apart when it was first used; was not screwed on at all; no instruction on how to put it back togeher. Should spend some money on instructions and perhaps design the plastic end pieces to fit the metal housing much better. Good product; poor quality control.

Outstanding service, great products with super fast shipping

The radiator I ordered was exactly as described on the webpage. The quality of the radiator and the valves were fantastic at a reasonable price. They shipped it to me right away. I installed it and it works great ever since. I will definitely consider buying more when I remodel the rest of the house.

No warranty as advertised

We are general contractors is Seattle, and have recommended HR to several of our clients. We can never do that again. If you carefully read their warranty it basically says that if it can be fixed (serviced) their is no warrant.We felt that this was deceptive intentionally and are doe with HR

Great product - Needs more finishing options

I searched a long time for a dual output shower valve. I had a hard time finding anything, much less anything that matched the style and configurations of the products at Hudson Reed. The product was well packaged and I wasn't disappointed at all. The product I received is exactly what I saw on their website. Installation was slightly bothersome because the hot/cold inlets and the outlets are all in-line. I ended up ditching the copper and using poly around the valve. My only complaint is that we wanted brushed nickel finish. I spent about three days searching for a comparable product with different finishes. I found nothing and ended up going back to the HR and the chrome finish.

**UPDATE** They have replaced the broken equipment.

Immediately after filling out this review, HR contacted me to tell me that they had been waiting on a replacement part and shipped it out that day. It arrived yesterday, and it seems to be in working order, though I have not yet installed it. There is a rattle in the hand-held sprayer. I have not yet taken it apart to see what the cause is, but just replaced it with the previous shipping, so everything is OK.

I have ordered about 4 things from HR, and half arrived damaged so far. The first time was a problem with assembly, and the second with shipping. Both times now they have replaced the parts without hassle. They use solid brass materials, and the components seem well made (e.g., ceramic disks). However, there is often some problem with details of assembly. As long as they are good about fixing these mistakes, and their prices stay so reasonable, I will continue to buy from them. Heck, one could buy two of their items to be certain of enough working parts and still save money. On the other hand, if time is critical for you, you might want to think twice about HR. This is really a shame, because it seems that quality control should be relatively easy for them to fix, and would increase their profit margins. They use good materials, so just have someone do a quick once-over on each thing before it goes out. They also could have packaged the kitchen faucet a bit better to avoid damage during shipping, but I don't want to blame them for things that are out of their control.

I purchased a kitchen faucet, which arrived very quickly, just a few days. I immediately opened it to discover that the main part had broken into two pieces, possibly during shipping. I called them and sent them a photo. They promised to send me a replacement part, but nothing came. I sent them an email, but no reply. I will be canceling my credit card payment today. It has been over two weeks.

The perfect decision

Fast delivery, great radiator and decent price. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the radiator and valves.

Great innovative product, extremely competitive price and amazingly fast shipping.

This designer radiator has gotten many positive comments from friends. The design is innovative as it is a vertical radiator that hangs on the wall. One of my friends referred to it as a piece of art work hanging on the wall. The quality of the paint finish is really good, and all the metal finish work looks meticulous . The 2 Crome pated valves supplied with the radiator are also well built, and very modern looking. This radiator is unobtrusive and fits well in a new or antique environment. My home is 100 years old, and the radiator fits right in. I must also compliment the company on the fast shipping. Less than a week to St. Louis from the UK.....AMAZING!!!

I haven't connected the faucets yet, but from the weight of the pieces and the construction, they both look very well made.

If they work as good as they look, they just got a customer for life.

$600.00 for a shower panel, did not come with quality control

Got the new shower panel from Hudson Reed. 10 year warranty was the tipper & the 5% discount helped make the choice. Nice product, but it took some surface damage in shipping, the box was pretty messed up when delivered, should be a box in box to protect this pricey equipment. Also, the factory Q.A inspector missed the facts that none, that is none, of the internal hose clamps & body shower nuts were properly tightened. Without special tools, the body sprayers could only be hand tightened by me, I also tightened all the hose clamps. That said, the unit works fine & is of high quality, a few cosmetic blemishes fro shipping the only permanent problem.

Follow up to original post, The unit is a great shower experience & I am happy with the value. I'm a little put off though that Hudson Reed is quick to thank totally positive reviews, but never asked me if I solved my issues or offered any advice or any concern.

Very happy so far!

So far, so good. Live in Virginia, ordered shower panel on Wednesday and it arrived on Monday - 5 days for shipping from UK! The panel and all components were very well packed and arrived safe & sound with no damage. I did quite a bit of research before purchasing my shower panel ... Based on many positive reviews, availability of on-line product documentation and reasonable prices, I went with HR over many other companies. I will be ordering a HR shower seat next.

Once I install the panel I will provide another review based on ease of install, instructions & performance.

One MINOR complaint...following purchase I never received a confirmation email so I was a bit nervous until the panel arrived.

Products are made beautifully

But to my dissapoinment attention to details were lacking . 2 items were incorrectly shipped and required numerous phone calls & e mails.

Love it!

I ordered this faucet to replace one that I was very unhappy with, that angled toward the front of the sink and got everything we,t including me. This faucet is wonderful, points straight down, easily adjusts from spray to waterfall and from hot to cold. You can take it from the cradle to fill tall items easily too. My only disappointment was that no installation instructions came in the package. You have to go to the website where you order the item for those instructions which is extremely inconvenient.

Returns

Very poor service with returns. Give you a hard time about refunding money.

Beautiful, stylish and SOLID!

Our friends recommended Hudson Reed to us as they had been so impressed with the quality of their goods and their customer service. In looking through the site, I was impressed with the rainhead shower styles offered and ordered the Tiamo Designer Thermostatic Shower Faucet System with Over Head Shower and Handset. Simple, clean and elegant lines. When it was delivered, I was literally blown away with the quality! The valves, the shower head, and the rest of the piece parts are solid and definitely not flimsy (as many others I've seen are). Would highly recommend!

The item is of good quality with a reasonable price. the service was timely and accurate.

These guys rock!

Their products are solid and their shipping is supersonic fast. We've bought a shower and tub systems from them and their products are totally solid and beautifully designed. Can't recommend them enough. I only wish they had more "traditional" options for kitchen hardware.

Though my folding shower bench had a defect customer service got on correcting immediately. I took a photo of the damage and a few hours later was told they were sending a replacement. No muss, no fuss just good honest help. Bravo!

I changed my mind for the purchase and got my refund hassle free. Good job.

Prompt on delivery, not so on returns.

Had ordered shower tower and plumber came earlier than expected to install. When delivery was received, packaging was damaged and since we had to purchase another tower, we wanted to return item. Several emails back and forth and we still do not have information to return product or refund. For the record, the item delivered does appear to be acceptable in quality however there is alot of plastic components.
