Having used the Einhell 4 in 1 51cm cut petrol mower for some hours I can confirm that it will cut tufted damp grass useing the side discharge function and 90mm height adjustment without clogging or stalling. It takes time and practice to get the best out of the mower, less the fault of the mower, more the lack of skill at first. With grass that more resembles a field or pasture than lawn, the mower rode over the tussocks and anthills without difficulty. After removing the tops of the anthills I am now able to use the 50mm height adjustment. Starting was easy, control using the self-propelled facility is easily learnt; reduce the throttle if it goes too fast. It easily copes with a 15 degree slope although the wheels will lack purchase if the grass is wet; pushing the handle down to add weight to the driven wheels usually helps. The mower is solidly made and appears very robust although heavy; not the machine for routinely carrying up or down steps or in a car. Having said that, an hour of use uses just over the litre of fuel. Height selection is the easiest I have ever come across, just unlock the leaver with your thumb and move the leaver to the desired setting; easy as that.
Cleaning afterwards; remove the plug cap and empty the petrol tank (or run it down to nearly empty first) and tip it over so that the oil filler is uppermost. I used a stiff brush to clear the little grass clinging to the sides; In later use, with the grass dry, there was no grass clinging.
Overall, a powerful machine that needs a firm hand to get the best out of it and plenty of practice in it's use. I found that I needed time to get used to letting the mower do the work and it was best to simply guide the mower and let it get on with it. I have yet to use the rear ejection facility, mulching option or the grass collection but, from the success so far, have little doubt that these will work just as well.
The tyres, cost, ease of use of the web-site and the local fitting partner all excellent. Unfortunately the delivery was left on the doorstep in clear sight of all passers-by. No indication of delivery time had been given or suggested by the delivery company although my details were available via Mytyres. Arrangements could have been made as I was only absent for 40 minutes, The last I saw when tracking the item was that the items were at the depot awaiting dispatch.
Spoilt what was otherwise a successful transaction; pity.
