i just ordered online and paid for it and it said we had to collect which is fine. when we went to collect they said that we could not order and collect on just eat even though they accepted our order and it says on your website we could

so we now have paid for our food and receievd nothing

im really not happy

I am really sorry about what has happened, I have just spoken to the restaurant and they have said they are no longer working with Just-Eat and therefore should not have accepted the order.

deborah abbott:
well then why are they still on the website!

Nisha:
I can cancel the order which will mean you will get a refund this can take anytime between now and five working days however or I can create a voucher for you which would replace the refund which you can use immediately to place a new order.

deborah abbott:
this isnt on, i have just driven out to pick up an order which wasnt made, i would likie a refund and the voucher please

Nisha:
Unfortunately I can only provide you with one.

what kind of customer service is that

im now going to have to wait another hour or so for my meal and wait 5 days for my money back and you wont even compensate with a voucher

Unfortunately I can only apologise that the order was accepted however this was down to the restaurant and no our selves they also should of called you immediately to say it was not possible so you could of placed a new order. I have taken them offline. I can give you a voucher or a refund but unfortunately not both.

well the restaurant told us it was your fault. refund the money but you have lost a customer.

I can only apologise about the situation I will refund the transaction for you now

nice to know big companies care about their customers! bad customer service reviews just to save a few pounds

They would rather loose me as a customer over a few pounds and lets be honest aweful customer service. Not only did we not get our food, we also wasted our own petrol to go collect it.

Please read the conversation between me and a member of staff on the just eat team. Bear in mind i have ordered through them for years.

This is what you're all about. You lost a customer trying to save a few pounds. Aweful.
