April I saw an advert in Photoplus mag and www.nohotwaterbills.co.uk was the site. The company was Simply Solar I emailed them and got nothing for a few weeks - I tried calling - My biggest mistake!!!! I now know the MD John Hallisey closed this company down due to 30+ people taking action against the company, the started a new one call SPWEC Ltd – search rochdaleonline for this company. Paid my deposit £500 some time went by and then got a call saying they needed the remaining balance £1000 as the system was in. 7th July booked for the install day. On the 6th I tried to call to find out what time they will be turning up - no one would tell me anything...... Called again as no call back and they said they had no stock and wouldnt install tomorrow. A few weeks down the line I asked if i could change the system this cost me a further £500. They took the money straight away but I have had problems getting in contact since - email, phone (if u get answer phone) they dont return the email/calls or their webform. Cut the story short - 4/5th Sept booked new date - 4th called to see what time driver would arrive - he called in sick but they havent even booked an installer for Saturday so make your own conclusions. Chris Turner refused my money back as per their T&C but guaranteed delivery and install on the 12th - Got nothing no call or anything - tried calling - no joy, emailed - mails bounced. Got a mail on the 24th telling me they had my letter requesting a full refund but as they cashflow issues they couldnt refund me but they still have my system - I asked why they didnt install on the 12th as guaranteed – they dont seem to want to answer that.
If you want to go green – dont try this company – Its price is too cheap so that should be the first warning....
