It was the Admiralty chart of Bridlington Bay I bought for my sea-fishing in 1968. It was flood-damaged, and for a time my web searches went nowhere. But on the Outdoorgb site my search was more successful. I now have a copy of Admiralty Chart 1882, since reproduced with two other charts added and in colour instead of B & W, but that's OK, because the one I had of Bridlington Bay and Flamborough can be separated from the other two with advantage and will fit in better with the lounge decor.
I work on the Great Central Railway, rebuilding old rolling stock for or my Saturday, for future generations to enjoy the age of steam. I needed to have a hand drill with a reamer close to hand. I received the drill in time for my Saturday shift, and reckon I saved over an hour by not having to change drill bits every 30 seconds.
Whatever I'm looking for in future, I'll try you first.
John
I feel I'm in control of things by keeping Frost's quarterly magazine close at hand. Just now it's on my office's coffee table after a recent purchase.
