not much more to say that above. from a parcel service you want fast delivery and a driver that smiles, says hello, hands over the parcel in good condition and goes on his merry way.
I was not the buyer of the service so cannot rate the price, but as the receiver all was good.
I had a problem with a pair of prescription sunglasses (lenses kept popping out) that were just over a year old. I asked glassesdirect if they would correct the problem under warranty as they had not been worn all winter, not expecting that they would.
Within a couple of days GD called to say that I could choose a new pair of glasses to the original value. I was actually able to choose a pair that would have been more expensive but were on special offer at the value I had paid over a year ago. Within a week or so I had a new pair for no cost that are pefect.
Now that is great service!
Havent used Easyjet for a few years but used recently for Gatwick to Barcelona and back as part of a cruise deal.
I was surprised to find that they now allocate seating and this makes it a great service. No dash for the aircraft to sit together!
Service was friendly and faultless by ground and cabin staff. One suitcase was slightly over weight on the return journey but that was not raised as a problem.
We were also offered the ability to put one of our carry on small cases in the hold at no charge which was a bonus to us and to EZY as it reduced the baggage in the overhead lockers.
Pleasantly surprised at how good they were and I would be happy to use again anytime!
Excellent price and service. We arrived much earlier than booked but one call and the guy acknowledged and assured he would be with us as soon as possible.
Car collected efficiently and professionally with good return instructions provided.
Return call answered quickly and car was with us within about 15 to 20 minutes.
Due to the snow and cold weather the battery had gone flat, but they jump started the car and ensured the engine was left running with heater up high and heated seats on full, which was a nice touch.
No problems with the car and it had covered I think about 12 miles in our absence which is reasonable for off-site storage.
I would recommend and will be using them again.
My son and his friend travelled to San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas in October '12 and wanted to hire a Mustang convertible of equivalent.
It was difficult to get an 'all inclusive' quote on the web. Many companies quoted on the basis that the young driver and second driver uplifts would be payable locally, but usrentacar quote was inclusive of both of these.
I reserached the company fully before I booked, reading reviews here and elsewhere, plus I used live chat to double check that there would be no extras to pay locally. All checked out OK and they paid just under £600 for 2 x 22year olds for 2 weeks car hire from Alamo.
Their travel arrangements worked fine. They were offered and did choose to pay an uplift locally for higher level of breakdown cover @ $70 total. Not sure that they really needed to, but they decided they wanted peace of mind so it was no great problem.
Initially they were offered a rather dull convertible but explained that they wanted to experience a 'proper' american convertible muscle car for their trip. They were then offered a Chevrolet Camaro convertible, and you can imagine their grins driving down the highway in that!
I must say that usrentacar.co.uk proved to have the best price, be one of the very few companies that could quote the actual price to pay with young drivers, and the arrangements, including the pre-payment of the young driver charge and the bundling of more than one driver, all proved faultless. I therefore recommend this company without hesitation!
I was very wary of ordering a Tag Heuer >£1k via a website and spent a long time checking out their company information, status, T&C's etc plus emailing to check that the watch was definitely new with all tags and in stock. David contacted me quickly and assured me that the watch was in stock new and unworn.
I asked for a price match against a rival web dealer (who I would never have ordered from after seeing some bad Customer reviews, and as David pointed out they had some incorrect information about the list price of the watch suggesting they were not fully in touch with facts) but he did offer a partial further reduction, so at more than 25% off the Tag Heuer list price (vs 11% my local authorised dealer offered me) I placed an order.
The watch was with me within 2 days, well packaged, and was exactly as stated. It looks perfect, the tags and protecting plastic are all intact, the strap was adjusted as I had specified, and it is in the right box with instructions and the diamond quality certificate etc.
It is a Christmas present for my wife so their extended Xmas return period is useful. I have checked that it is keeping accurate time and it is.
So whilst I would always suggest that you make your own decision, I can only say, so far, that my experience of precisiontime.co.uk has been very positive indeed.
