I've booked many trips via Expedia and never had any trouble, I like the nectar points they offer these days too!
All in all though it's an informative site, even if you don't end up booking you can do some great research on hotels, flights and eurostar through here.
absolute worst service, terrible delivery times.
People who reply to emails and answer the phone are incompetent at best and can't work with variations from their script.
My parcel is 7 days late and counting. Still no sign of it, and the tracking system is an inaccurate joke of a thing- they claim attempted deliveries when they never made them. NEVER EVER USE THEM.
Ordered a guitar with expected delivery of 29th November. I was then told that day that it was delayed and would ship the next day. Needless to say I did not recieve my guitar until December 6.
Gear4Music seem to wash their hands of the order once it's left their warehouse. To be fair the customer service rep I emailed on numerous occasions was friendly enough, yet I never received a phone call or any real resolution to my problems with the delivery.
When the parcel finally arrived the outer box was torn open and holes in it and was wet. Somehow the guitar inside seemed relatively unscathed...and I will give them credit, the order was correct and the guitar is great value for money.
If I ordered and paid Gear4Music I expect that they ensure I get my delivery. If you build a business on a online system make sure you can actually deliver the goods. It's a shame as Gear4Music have a great inventory and selection of products, however unless I'm assured they can solve problems with the worst delivery company in the UK I won't be ordering from them again.
Go to a store, at least you walk away with a product.
