After having a 2 month ordeal with a competitor, I thought my baby would be born before I received our travel system. I ordered the same system from just4baby on Wednesday night. My husband and I were very worried when we read these reviews, so he rang them to check on stock availability. They answered the 'phone and confirmed stock. They then emailed me to confirm the conversation to put my mind at rest. The next day, I received another email to say that they'd managed to get the order out that day and that, hopefully, it would be with me the next day (ie, today). I was informed of the courier that they'd use and sent the link to track my order. I was then sent another email letting me know the time (only 1 hour window, which meant that I wasn't sat in all day) that it would be delivered. My parcels arrived this afternoon, within the first 15 minutes of that 1-hour window that I was given. I can honestly say that they have reduced my stress-levels no end! What a pleasant experience.
... like, never!! I was supposed to receive a delivery on Wednesday. Firstly, how can they give you a delivery window of 12-14 hours? What kind of 'courier company', especially one that claims to be a 'revolution' not give am/pm? Needless to say, they never showed up. They did on Thursday, though just after 12pm. I think I'd gone out of the house at about 11:50!! I had a delivery today from Interlink Express - their excellent tracking system told me that it would be delivered between 1-2pm today. I received it from a very cheery chap at about 1:15. Lessons could be learned, Yodel. It's not even a difficult lesson...?!?!
We ordered our travel system with Bambino Direct as the sales assistant in Huddersfield was absolutely brilliant! Sadly for her, she's the only member of staff who has any pride in her work! Ordered it 29th October and was told it would take 2-3 weeks (although they took the money immediately!). 2 days later, they attempted to deliver without informing us, so after a mess up with Yodel (not the carrier we were told were delivering), the items were returned to stock and our order was cancelled - without being notified and without having our money refunded!! After re-ordering, the items have been out of stock and the delivery date has been constantly moved and although we've asked for someone to ring to explain what's happening, we've still heard nothing. They state that they won't despatch part-orders, but I'm currently looking at sitting in waiting for the order in 3 parts - that's 3 days of waiting for a delivery with (thanks to Yodel) a 12-14 hour delivery window. I've got much better things to be doing with my time at this stage of my pregnancy. I am absolutely at my wit's end as the chassis and seat won't be delilvered until 2 weeks after my due date. Yes, their price is great, but having £400 of my money for 2 months without me having the product I paid for in good faith is how they manage to promise such low prices. I honestly thought that ordering 2 months before my due date was long enough time - how wrong I was! Shocking service all 'round - especially considering the business they are in!! The delivery that I was expecting today never arrived and I've had no contact to explain why - amazing!!
