I placed an order on the 25th November (a Christmas present for my 3 and 5 year old) and to this date I have heard nothing from this company other than a confirmation and a payment taken. I have emailed their 'helpline' twice and have just filled in their complaint form. From reading other reviews here I doubt any form of satisfaction will be forthcoming. My next step will of course be trading standards as this lack of customer service is totally unacceptable. I had previously pre-ordered the same item from Firebox who unfortunately were unable to fulfil the order before Christmas however they kept me informed of the progress, did not take any money and offered a cancellation when they realised they would not be able to deliver. A much more professional company than Nicecans.co.uk
update: 09-12-11 16:07. Astonishing: Less than 15 minutes after complaining and writing this review the item has been despatched. We shall wait and see what occurs
Update: 14-12-11. The item actually arrived today. Goes to show what a little perseverance and non-aggressive complaining can do. I have increased my rating but will not remove it as requested as I would not expect to have to chase a response and complain before receiving any feedback on an item I have ordered and payed for
