Buying blind (pardon the pun) is a tricky business over the net. I needed a house full of sturdy blackout blinds for my rental property. Blinds4uk were the only place I could get some really wide roller blinds, not catered for on other sites. Having fitted roller blinds from DIY stores and Ikea in my own house and found them to be a bit 'plasticky' I knew I needed something that would stand up to slightly rougher treatment. I needn't have worried.
The blinds arrived promptly and were well packaged. The brackets were metal and fitted easily. The pull cord for the roller was nylon with plastic beads welded to it (not the usual plastic chain used by the DIY shops) so also very strong.
When measuring for the blinds don't take it to the millimetre if your plasterwork is at all uneven. Or make sure when taking the measurement of the opening that you put the tape at the exact point from the window where you will be hanging your blind. We had to 'adjust' 3 blinds by sawing the metal roller bar and cutting the blind down one edge. to give us 4mm of ease (this was our fault for not realising that there was 4mm more plaster on the walls nearer to the window)The other 5 blinds went up easily and without a problem.
The blinds do what they are supposed to do with smoothness and the feel of good quality.
So satisfying when a company actually delivers what it advertises and at a very good price.
Would buy from these people again.
The ranking system was a great help in narrowing down the dishwasher I needed to buy.The video was most useful in confirming that it had all the things I was looking for.
They communicated the delivery time both by their on line link and by phone (twice) and they arrived when they said they would. They took away my old dishwasher (Yeah!).
I would certainly buy from them again.
My new Siemens dishwasher although expensive, lives up to my expectations on every level.
