Despite having chosen the std delivery option and placing an afternoon order, my swimsuit arrived the very next morning, well packaged and exactly as per the photos and description.
I'm very impressed and will definitely order again from simplyswim.com, especially as the costume I ordered seemed to be the cheapest on the net!
I received an email from DPD delivery services saying they had tried to deliver my package. However they didn't try, and did not leave a calling card. We were at home all day and received numerous other parcels, but nothing from them. They sent a link to the redelivery site which does not work unless you have the 8 digit code from the calling card which was not left!
I called DPD customer services who also couldn't help without the 8 digit code on the calling card. I found a number for the Reading depot online and requested redelivery for tomorrow (Wednesday) as I am not at home today (Tuesday).
However on Tuesday (today) received an email saying they were redelivering today and not tomorrow!
Called the Reading depot AGAIN who confirmed that they now could not deal with my query without the calling card number, even though they dealt with me (incorrectly) on Monday! They gave me the same number for customer services who also will not deal with the query.
So I had no way of able to deal with DPD.
Luckily after 5 minutes of emailing Amazon directly they have kindly agreed to deal with DPD on my behalf and insist the parcel is delivered tomorrow. Who knows whether DPD will bother!
Have had so many bad experiences with DPD, I would never recommend them.
Plus their depot staff need some customer service training, despite being spoken to professionally and courteously, they come across as being bored, hostile and very unhelpful.
