Had a parcel delivery from this company once before nearly a year ago and had nothing but hassle, not delivery, sent back to sender and other mess.
So am now expecting another parcel. Had an email yesterday saying delivery would be today. I checked my emails this morning and there was no updated information on the whereabouts of the parcel but the site still stated delivery today.
My husband stayed in all day waiting for the parcel whilst I went to work.
At 1.30 I received an email stating that the parcel had been delayed at the depot and would now be delivered tomorrow!
Checking the parcel status this evening, the parcel still has no updated information so who knows if delivery will actually be attempted tomorrow.
Thing is me and my husband are working tomorrow so I went onto the website to try and leave instructions to leave it in our locked parcel safe and you can't make any amendments to delivery until after they have already attempted delivery.
Just ridiculous so Im not filled with much hope of coming home to my parcel tomorrow.
I will update this review with the outcome.
Well just as I thought the parcel wasn't sent out today either. I had no email update to tell me it wouldn't be arriving, but again their web site showed that the parcel was still in the depot. I emailed the social media @ DPD as told and only because of this I'm sure, we received a call saying the parcel will definitely be delivered on Monday. It has been delayed because my address label fell off and it had to be re-labeled!
Oh please where do they get their ideas from, 2 days to replace a label! Do they really think we're that stupid. Dpd don't add lying to your already diabolical service.
I will be telling Amazon that I will not purchase items delivered by these cowboys. They need to be shut down.
Let's wait and see if the parcel arrives Monday
Have been using Very for a couple of years and have an account with them. Have always had a good service, good arrive very quickly (unless out of stock which your told at time of ordering) and they are often a lot cheaper than other mail order catalogues for same items. This time i ordered a 46inch LED tv which was delivered in one week, well packaged and brought in by helpful delivery chap Free (unlike charge high street wanted me to pay for delivery, which when you pay £1000 i think is discusting). Over the years i have used several different mail order catalogues and beleive me some of them have been dire, terrible service and products so i do have plenty of comparrison and very are one of the best.
