A few years ago I bought christmas presents for my dad and my brother online 3 weeks before christmas, and the delivery was by Parcelforce. It never came, and when I tracked the parcel their system showed that delivery was made, and it had a scan of a signature that was provided. The signature was just a scrawl, and not anything like my mother's signature, who was the only person at the address in the run up to christmas. I called parcelforce and they said there was nothing they could do about it. The driver clearly took a liking to the parcel, forged a signature and kept it for himself.
