Have heard bad comments about yodel, so tried some small deliveries and had zero issues.
PC upgrades just arrived, box well packed and no damage.
Driver courteous and friendly
Will use again happily.
Unlike citylink who tried to trash a pc a few years back and then blame me for not opening and stripping down the pc whilst the driver waited in the rain...
Edit: Ordered a specific day delivery all day, Ebuyer specifies an 8:00 to 18:00 delivery, it came about 17:00
Seemed ok at first, but twice they lost my account and claimed that they were not supplying me with gas and then electricity. Naturally it was my fault and they wanted the bill paid in one go, first amount was for £1500 and the next for a few hundred..
First time searched for an alternative, no real choices, 2nd time found Equipower and liked the single rate charge, made it easy to find stuff.
Only got offered money off when I told them I wanted to leave, think it was a 9% discount, shame that they could not have offered it to me when they lost my accounts. Actually told me that they had no idea who was supplying me, but that it was not them and suddenly it was :(
Used to be with EON, twice they lost my account and claimed that they were not supplying me with gas and then electricity. Naturally it was my fault and they wanted the bill paid in one go, first amount was for £1500 and the next for a few hundred quid.
1st time no real competition, 2nd time I found Equipower on a comparison site and everyone was 100% apart from a student who thought he should get free power :)
I like the single rate and no standing charge, very easy to understand the charges.
Plus I like the same rate for everyone, it does not matter if you pay by key meter, cheque or direct debit :)
However all my neighbours are, including the one across the path and plus and minus 5 numbers on the address checker.
They all have the option to have virgin cable, I do not
Have had a virgin mobile phone for probably over 10 years, was looking to get a better deal on internet and TV as the tv reception is poor.
Might have to look at freesat instead
Over the years have had a few items delivered by them, 1st was parts for a pc costing about £200, delivered to a neighbour and no note left for me, got the bits a few days later.
2nd item, I specified days when I was at work and the one day when I was at home, ended up having to drive to their depot (90 mins each way) whilst technically working at home.
Last item was a pc that they had managed to bend the internal chassis holding the disk drives in place, found them at the bottom of the case. Sort of damage one would expect from dropping out of a 1st floor window.
Apparently my fault for not taking the pc to pieces on the doorstop.
Last PC came via Royal Mail, not damaged, friendly driver who mentioned it came insured and now if a company only uses citylink or myhermes etc and does not offer RM, then am not interested
