If you want your parcel to arrive on a day you expect it DO NOT use DPD.
Ordered an item online with next day delivery, received texts confirming the times etc., waited whole day for the parcel only to receive a text late in a day that the driver tried to deliver it but there was nobody at premises and he left a card which was an absolute lie. They even took a picture of what's supposed to be my house which in fact is a nearby Pub !!!
This is not the first time I had parcel delivered by DPD and every time it was a distaster. When they were delivering the last parcel I checked on their site the latest status which showed that the driver is 0.5 a mile away and it should be with me in 30mins. Few minutes later I received a text saying that the parcel was reschedule for next day!!! I asked why was it and was told that driver's car broke down somewhere 30 miles away which obviously was another lie.
These people have no respect for either your parcel (videos on YouTube) or their clients.
I buy online regularly and have never ever had any problems with deliveries but DPD ones. This company shouldn't exists as it's a disgrace.
EDIT: After an official complaint, I was contacted by the company who admitted driver's wrongdoing and apologized (in a pleasant and surprising fashion) which makes me believe that as a company they try their best and it's some individuals (drivers) who damage company's reputation. I hope my driver (and others) has been cautioned about his unacceptable attitude.
Lovefilm is just another company that has a very poor customer service.
After buying something of Amazon months ago I got a leaflet saying that I will get £20 to spend on Amazon if I register with Lovefilm so I did. After waiting a month I sent an email to Lovefilm asking about the £20 but never got any reply so I cancelled the account.
Recently I have reactivated it as got a 12 months free Lovefilm Instant subscription. After checking my latest bank statement I noticed that they still charged me £4.99 for the first month so I sent them an email asking for explanation. That's their reply:
"I'm sorry to advise you that we are unable to retrieve the billing
history at the moment due to an error. Unfortunately, we will not be able to assist you with this."
What kind of reply is that !!! Why would I care about their internal errors. They obviously don't care about Customer Experience or their Firstline never had any proper training.
Also, notice that their support number is 0844 whereas Netflix uses free 0800.
Lovefilm - better change your strategy or you'll be left behind !!!

The item I bought from Music Matter was advertised as ex-demo.
I never buy second hand stuff when it comes to electronics however I thought I'll give it a try (£50 cheaper than BNIB) and was really positively surprised when the item arrived. It came with all the original bits and pieces and packed in the original box. I'd never tell that it's an ex-demo as it looked like brand new.
Delivery next day included
Thanks a lot guys :)
