I put an order in and realised I had made a mistake. Rang Customer services and asked them to cancel the order but they refused and said the order was already processed (an hour later) even though it clearly stated on my account "Being Processed" and could not possibly have left the warehouse especially as it was a Sunday afternoon, but they still refused.
They told me to wait for delivery and then refuse it and wait for it to be sent back to
the warehouse and then wait 14 days!!! for them to credit my account. This is totally unacceptable. I am with another Catalogue who will happily cancel an order with no questions asked. I cannot understand Freeman's as this is wasting everyone's time!
I bought a card for a birthday which never arrived. Rang customer services about 3 days later and was asked if I wanted them to send a replacement?? Its was a bit late for that so I asked for a refund. I paid by Paypal and was told the money would be back in my Paypal account within a couple of days but 9 days later I am still waiting. I have had to open a dispute with paypal but they haven't even replied to that! I will never buy from them again!!!
I had an order arriving before Christmas, it said on the website "Out for delivery" I waited in all day and at 7pm I checked the website again and it said "Courier will reattempt" I was in and nobody knocked on my door and there was no card so I knew they hadn't been. I got the parcel next day but I wasn't happy. However I waited in again yesterday for a parcel from Freeman's and again when I checked the website it said that they had tried to deliver it at 17.32, I was in and the lights were on in the house and again no card. My Husband came home from work at 17.50 and said there were no footprints in the snow on the path to our door so I knew they were lying. Do Hermes think we have nothing better to do that sit in all day waiting to see if they turn up!!!? I cannot understand why these company's use them as they are so unreliable but can only think they are cheap!! It annoys me that when you speak to them about it, they just say to contact your supplier. Why would we contact the supplier when its Hermes who has the parcel? Rubbish company!
I bought the phone bundle (Phone & Headset) and am delighted with the service and products. The goods were delivered quickly. I noticed that part of the Headset was missing so I emailed the company and was told they would send the part out immediately and I rec'd it within 2 days so I am very happy. Prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend this company.
Shopped online plenty of times and have had no problems, items are good value and delivery is within 3 days! I have also shopped in store at Stockport and the assistants have been helpful and friendly. Bought a suit for my Husband for a wedding and got one in sale for £50 and it looks far more expensive and is a great fit. I bought some shoes for £12 and they are great and I have worn them far more and had more compliments than my other more expensive shoes.Good service all round!
Put an £70 order in online and I am still waiting 10 days later. Rang them up on Monday and was told that all my items were in stock but deliveries were running a little behind but I should get my order within a couple of days, today is Friday and I am still waiting!! They give you a tracking number but when you go to the page it tells you nothing! I have ordered online at various stores, B&Q, Matalan, BHS, Debenhams etc and have only waited 2/3 days. They have not replied to my emails so they have taken my money and I do not have my order. I have been told if you cancel your order you will have to wait weeks to get your money back? Not good!!!
The last 2 Christmases I have ordered gifts online from Boots and have to say the experience was so easy and they will either deliver to your home address or to your local Boots store. I always go for the collection at my local store as I not always at home for deliveries and they tell you what day you can collect it from your store and my orders have been there waiting for me. Even last year when we had lots of snow and I did not order till a week before Christmas, the delivery was still delivered when they said it would be. They also use Paypal which I great. So well done Boots!
Went to the Peel centre Toysrus after reserving toys online which I found helpful, however when I went to the customer service desk to pick up the goods the staff were as miserable as sin!! No smile or a thank you. If I buy goods from a shop I expect the staff to be friendly and to at least say thank you instead all I got was a grunt! The assistant who served me acted like I was putting her out. Not good!
I have been to Argos quite a few times over the last few years and always had to wait ages to be served because there was not enough tills open and then had to wait ages again while they got your stuff from the warehouse. However in the last week My Husband and I have been to the Argos at the Peel Centre in Stockport 3 times and each time have not had to wait to be served and only waited about 5 mins for our purchases to be sent down from the warehouse. We noticed a gentleman in a suit wandering round and making sure everything was ok and even took money on the tills so customers did not have to wait. The staff were friendly and spoke to you instead of just grunting like they do in some shops. The week before christmas you expect to be waiting ages but we were only in the shop a few minutes each time even though it was very busy. So all I can say is well done the Peel Centre Stockport..
