As a new customer I thought they might of tried a little harder to get things right. I placed two orders on the same day (as I forgot to add some things to my original order.) The second order arrived but a lot later than expected and the first order they forgot to dispatch entirely. I called to confirm where my order was and only then did they dispatch it. Granted, they did apologise and try to prioritise the order as well as offer me a discount on my next order (via way of an £8.18 discount code) but as you can only enter one code for each purchase if I try to take advantage of ordering one of the many special promotional offers they constantly e-mail me (such as BOGOF or any type of % off/sale offer) this requires entering a code and therefore I can't enter the gesture of good will (£8.18) code and get the money off so it's kind of pointless. Added to this the delivery company (Hermes) are the most pathetic excuse for an attempt at an organisation I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They really need to use a proper courier company. These guys are a joke! They are self employed people delivering parcels from the boot of their car and therefore they wait several days before attempting to delivery your parcel so they can deliver several days worth at once so they save on petrol etc. Choose DPD. It's worth the extra 1£ or so.

I've had to suffer 3 or 4 deliveries from this pathetic excuse for a company (not by choice) and every time they surpass my expectations with how badly they can f**k up every aspect of getting a parcel from A to B. Seriously, don't bother!
Four days after ordering a DVD box set from Choicesuk.com I received an e-mail advising there was a problem and should contact them. After a discussion with what can only be described as a snooty advisor they admitted fault and advised that they had processed the card payment with the incorrect post code and the payment had decline. I advised the person I was speaking with (in a polite, professional manner) that whilst I understood it was not his fault personally I was somewhat annoyed that due to the incompetence of individual within the organisation I would now probably not be receiving this gift in time for Christmas. His response being "It's a good job you're not suggesting that or . . . " (He decided not to complete his sentence.) Had he actually of listened to what I had said (albeit a bit advanced for him as several words contained more than one syllable) he could have avoided the complaint I made about him and this damaging review for the company. In summary, if you want to have your time wasted, deal with ill-mannered and unprofessional staff and be massively inconvenienced due to the shortfalls of an (at best) second rate organisation then Choicesuk.com is the company for you! Happy shopping! On a personal note to the pathetic attempt at an advisor who I had the displeasure of speaking with, whilst I feel you’ve really excelled yourself in attaining your current position of a call-centre advisor I shall keep my fingers crossed that perhaps one day your dreams may be answered and the call from McDonalds may finally come! Only then will you reach your full potential.
