I booked to fly from UK to Frankfurt via Dusseldorf for a sporting event. The event was changed to Dusseldorf so I called Lufthansa to cancel the last leg of the journey only to be told by a South African woman that I couldn't do that and needed to buy a whole new ticket. I ended up on the plane with two seats going to the same place. Thanks for nothing Lufthansa. Terrible customer service but the flight was good. I now loathe to use them again.

They provided me with cheap phone calls but simply would not listen when I told them I didn't want their broadband. They repeatedly tried to get me to sign up to their broadband and each time were told to stop calling me. In terms of value they're great but if you don't want their broadband too then be prepared for them to give you the hard sell under various guises and not listen to repeated requests to pack it in.
After being warned if they did it again I'd leave, they did it again and I left.
After waiting in for my allocated 1 hour delivery slot yesterday and nobody showing up I was most surprised to discover that according to their tracking system I wasn't in. I checked my letterbox and there was no attempted delivery note, someone from DPD has clearly been lying. I'm now waiting in again for a 4 hour delivery slot, hoping they'll attempt to deliver it this time...
Oh, and the customer services telephone line just kept me on hold indefinitely, nice work DPD, I'll be avoiding you in future.
