We have had several deliveries made by my hermes. They have always been late and badly handled.
The latest one is a cut above. Delivering on behalf of argos, the driver left the parcel in the rain. no signature no not. I only found it hours later soggy.
Called argos, (turned out to be the wrong item too) said the state it was left in and arranged a replacement.
Driver arrived to do the swap, when my wife showed him the now damp box (i had to bring it in so it had dried a little overnight) she asked for assistance being 33 weeks pregnant. he immediatly started swearing stating he wasnt taking the F'ing box and other horrid words.
I heard this came to her aide, he was still aggressive. we told him argos knew about the state it was left in, and that they would collect.
The box was dry enough to hold together. I told him i would tape the box lid down, he told us we could do what we f'ing like he's not taking the box and drove off.
Called customer services, they said they would send him back, jsut put the box outside to avoid more confrontation. We did all taped up and if we had a big enough car I would happily taken it back to argos.
45 mins later we hear noises outside, go outside to see the driver kicking and ripping the box open. bits all over the drive and street. I dare not approach he then uses his limited vocabulary to swear at us then drove off.
they treat the items bad customers so badly, left my wife stressed and in tears. what if he came back?
unfortunately, we did not know what couriers companies like argos use. we would not use them on purpose. We will make a call before ordering now to find out which courier a company uses first and not support them.

recently took advantage of free next day delivery if I spent over £55. So like a mug I spent more than I wanted to make the order to £55.
Next day waited and waited nothing arrived, 4 days later still nothing.
What is worse is the Myprotein Customer services. I phone, they promise to call courier etc to locate order. nothing happens and When i call back we go through the whole process again.
Appalling "don't care" attitude from Myprotein, we are not valued customers evidently. Happy to take you money and run.
