I've used Photoworld about 10 times. This is to make books of our travels.
The books have encompassed the Himalayas and Kashmir and Ladakh
and Sikkim and Darjeeling. For these I've worked on my slides and with the
help of a digital scanner I have transferred them to the PC.
30 years ago I was giving talks and I felt I wanted a record of our adventures.
With the advent of digital cameras, I have been enabled to print from images
straight from the camera.
The latest book was Langtang in Nepal. I chose pictures I thought
would 'work'. I was very disappointed with the results - the photos being very
When I sent the books back - I was helped to understand the use of 'aids'
to light the images and to use the 'sunny smile'!
The result was a much better book, which I was pleased with. I learnt
from the experience.
I've had several books printed by Photoworld. One of
them being over 150 pages. This was done by changing my
old slides into images for the book. What could have been
complicated was made easier by the software.
Other books have been easy.
