Joined British Gas Homecare and had a problem with my boiler in my flat. Had 7 appointments to my flat for a various BS engineers to fix a problem. Either the engineer didn't turn up for the numerous appointments or the engineer arrived at the wrong time, but didn't have the part and had to arrange another visit! Or he broke something else on his visit. My wife and I had to take days off work for this 'service'. We took so many days off from work sitting in the flat, waiting for an engineer to NOT turn up, that we weren't able to go on a holiday. Very unhappy - eventually I came to the end of my tether and cancelled the HomeCare. We never were able to get any refund on the service that we had experienced. After the nasty experience we got a local engineer to come around and fix the problem the next day - should have done this in the first place. A very expensive and unpleasant experience.
Don't believe the slick adverts and marketing. British Gas have the worst customer service in a company I have very come across. I will never use British Gas for anything again.

Very poor service from Plumbworld - I waited in for a day, it didn't arrive and no contact was made. I tried to phone the delivery company (Yodel) but their phone lines didn't work. Yodel eventually phoned me to say they would deliver 2 days later. I waited at home again (took time off work) and again no delivery. Couldn't phone them and they failed to contact me.
After this frustrating experience I tried with little success in emailing plumbworld several times (they have no phone number). They did little to help for a full week - all this time my builder was waiting for the bathroom pieces to install. Yodel were no help either and lied to me that they would get someone to phone me back on my twice failed delivery. I was getting more and more frustrated...
Eventually Plumbworld sent out a second delivery with my stuff via a different delivery partner, seems that the first set had got lost by Yodel. This did arrive! Although a part of my order was missing and I've got to wait 25 days for delivery since the date I arranged for it to be delivered.
I am very disappointed in Plumbworld and their delivery partner Yodel - if it works, then great. But if you have any problems you are in a world of pain. Next time I will purchase items from a different supplier. They did refund me my delivery charge, but that is the least they could do under the circumstances.
