So where do i start??!! I ordered some headphones on 8th April, great! I got an email advising me of dispatch on the 10th April with a tracking number through Royal Mail advising me 3-5 days. Great! So I waited until the 16th April and product still not arrived. Not great. I called Currys and this is where it went from bad to worse! The guy called Royal Mail who launched an investigation and that guy told me I will get a call in 48 hours to advise me what's happened. 48hours went by and no call, so i called them again to be told it could take 72 hours. So i waited another day and still no phone call. So i called again and even and the gentleman said it could take up to 7 days! Clearly these people don't know what they are talking about. I email customer services to be told that this process could take 14 days and after this a new product will be automatically sent out. Today is the day they said on the email that a new product will be sent out, so i called them AGAIN to ask everything is on track and the guy said to me it hasn't and will now be sorted out tomorrow. At this point, I don't believe anything they are telling me. I asked for a refund and he said no and that i have no choice but to wait until this has been resolved. The Office of Fair trading website says that if an item is 'lost in transit' i should have a new item dispatched or offered a refund. The guy point blank refused my request for a refund ( even though requesting cancellation of my order by telephone is acceptable according to Curry's Website'. After this I asked him why does he think i have been told several different things about the situation and he proceeded to detail these conversations. So, i'm like great, they have evidence of me being told different things! I challenged him on this and in a raised voice ' i don't need to tell him how his business runs'. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and after a minute on hold he came back saying they will call me back 'shortly'. An hour later, still nothing! So after 15 days after dispatch and 8 phone calls to the customer services and 2 emails i still don't know when i am getting what i paid for!
Customer service is POOR to say the least! I will never buy from the Currys/Dixons or PCWorld again and to top it off this is not the first time i have had issues with the 'DSG group' in delivering things.
My protein uses yodel to deliver and they are crap. I waited 5 days to receive and when I checked the tracking it said I could not be reached so it was sent bak to the depot. Absolute rubbish because it was suppose to deliver to my work where I was at ALL day! Yodel were in the press for their bad delivery service. I think my protein should re-think this relationship! I have sent feedback to both yodel and my protein, so we will say they're response!!!
