I posted a lamp which had a glass lamp shade, ensuring that the lamp was wrapped with enough bubble wrap that the only way you could break it is by purposely throwing it or dropping it at a high distance. The postage was expensive but I thought that it would ensure my parcel doesn't get damaged.
The person I sent the item to, found the lamp smashed to pieces, with evidence of damage to the outside of the box.
Contacted parcel force to claim compensation as it was clearly their fault. After waiting for weeks for a response I finally received an email informing me that "my item is not covered" and I will receive no compensation for their damage.
I am literally outraged as I have essentially paid parcel force to break my lamp for £12.50, and for them to tell me they are not going to pay for the damage that they have caused.
Such an appalling company, I will make sure that no one I know will waste their money and to use a more reliable service such as DPD or UPS.
Negative word of mouth is the worst way for a companies reputation to be killed. I will make sure of it that this is the case.
Laptop arrived very rapidly, the build time was very short.
Laptop is very fast, light and the battery life (6 lithium ion) is very good.
Already recommended PCspecialist to several friends as the prices are fantastic, I've not been able to find a laptop with the same high specs anywhere for less than what I paid.
Will definitely be a returning customer in the future!
