Motherboard rectified

Was told by a well known high street computer supplier/repairer that the motherboard on my acer aspire one was blown and beyond ecconomic repair and was advised to buy a new laptop.

Took it into Woodgate computers after doing a google search, the guys there made me feel at ease and assured me that a repair was indeed cheaper than purchasing a new machine.

Was contacted by them in a couple of days advising me that a voltage regulator chip on the maim board had popped and it would cost £75 plus vat to repair, I readily agreed and had the work done.

Was impressed with the speed and level of service, would highly recommend to anyone with a similar problem.
