I have used Amazon many times over the years, and have been impressed with their service in that time.
The web site is comprehensive, clear and informative, and the search function works much better than most (others take note).
Pricing is usually keen, and options are also available from "Amazon Marketplace"
Free delivery is offered on pretty much everything from the main site, and there are a wide range of quicker options too.
Problems? Well, it is frustrating that Marketplace vendors do not combine postage (or posting) on multiple purchases, which seems a little wasteful, but this is probably outside Amazon's control.
Overall, highly recommended.
Ordered a new mixer for the missus from Dixons online. Excellent price (was £50 less than anywhere else online). Free delivery was quoted as "Due by 5th Jan".
The mixer duly arrived on 30th Dec, in good order and as described. I am very happy with the service (thanks to Yodel too), and the missus is very happy with her new "Ken"
I have used Ebuyer many times over the last 10 years, and have been very happy with them. Their prices are competitive and they have a good range of products. The free delivery (buys over £50) is usually quicker than the 5 days quoted too.
The website is pretty good, although the search facility is rather poor, and tends to give results that are outside the criteria entered. However, if you know the model number (or the quickfind code) of the item you want it's a breeze. Overall, highly recommended.
In light of the many poor reviews, I thought it only fair to relate my experience.
My order was scheduled for delivery "by 5th Jan" by the supplier.
It was delivered in perfect order at 10am on 30th Dec by Yodel. The driver was cheerful, polite and friendly.
The only thing that could improve is the online tracking - an estimated delivery date would have been helpful.
