Having placed the order and paid a delivery charge I had expected the tap to arrive fairly promptly but it didn't and I even sent a customer enquiry about delivery (which wasn't answered). Anyway it arrived after about a week and everything was as expected - well packaged, complete and it seems good value. I fitted the tap without any trouble using the supplied components and it works perfectly. A pity the experience was marred somewhat by the rather longer than expected delivery timescale however it seems like a good buy.
The price for this Dyson handheld was quite good, considering its hard to find much of a discount on Dyson products and they are expensive - not that it was a fantastic discount. However I was a bit peeved at the delivery. I ordered a handheld which also included a set of tools as part of the offer. The web site said the items would be delivered direct from Dyson - OK fine. Then I get a tracking email saying the items have been dispatched - there were two items on the tracking companies web site. One appeared to be moving through the system but one was still awaiting collection from the vendor (or Dyson). Following delivery of the first item I queried where the second one was and was told it would be sent direct from Dyson within 1 - 2 weeks and the web site should say this. Needless to say I was a bit miffed at this as the item was supposed to be a Xmas present and the web site did not make clear there would be a delay in the delivery of the tools. Also I think the disappearance of the second parcel from the tracking companies website following my query appears a bit underhand - why should it suddenly disappear when I queried its status?
Following some initial email and phone contact about whether a part was actually the correct one I ordered it from Wanapart and it was very promptly despatched and arrived quickly. Unfortunately it did turn out to be the wrong part but Wanapart's subsequent customer service both on the phone and via email to remedy the situation and arrange a refund was superb. Unlike with a lot of other outfits there was a very rapid and helpful tunraround to get the part returned and then to process the refund. I would have no hesitation in using Wanapart again because of both their excellant service and I would have no fear of being left with a part I could not use - this is the way to build a successful business.
There's really only one word to describe Battery Force's service and that is fantastic - i ordered about 3:30 in the afternoon and the batteries were delivered the next morning. You just cannot get better than that - and the prices were first class.
