I had a problem with a transaction i had paid for with Paypal and getting to talk to some one over the phone to discuss the details is nearly impossible, they make you go through a ton of menus which often will just put you through to some automatic message which then disconnects you after its played out, when i finally did get to speak to someone they couldn't answer my query so said they would get their supervisor to call back and it would be within the hour. I waited in all afternoon and i never got a call back, and when i phoned them back they said they didn't have any record on their system of my first call and the call back i was supposed to receive.
Buying my groceries online at tesco was one of the first experiences i had at online shopping, this was 5 years ago now and we regularly shop online at tescos.
On the few occasions where we have had problems with something they have sent (had some eggs arrived broken and and some meat that only had one day left on the best before date) a quick phone call to their customer services department and they said they would refund for the items and i still got to keep them if i wanted.
If only all online shopping went this smoothly
I purchased a refurbished IBM thinkpad laptop having spent several days researching what I wanted to buy and where was I going to get it from, and what i could afford. My experience of the company has been entirely positive, including the delivery by the courier company yodel.
As i have had no issue with the computer I have not needed to contact their Customer Service Department so cannot comment on their after-sales service hence only the 4 start review . From my experience so far I would buy from them again and recommend anyone looking for a cheap laptop
